3. Lilith

Senior · Female · Domestic Short Hair / Mixed

Meet Lilith! Lilith is an approximately 9-year-old spayed female Domestic Short Hair weighing around 15 pounds who is looking for a loving forever home to enjoy her golden years. Lilith was surrendered after her previous family was no longer able to care for her, and after spending her entire life in a home, she is ready to find a new family to call her own. Lilly is a social, easygoing girl who enjoys being in her people's orbit. She doesn't need to be the center of attention every second, but she likes knowing her people are nearby and being part of everyday life. She is also a big fan of food—possibly a little too big of a fan—and certainly isn't a picky eater! Her new family will want to help her maintain a healthy diet and weight as she settles into her new home.

Read more about Lilith

Lilith was raised with a small dog and lived successfully with one in her previous home. She has been the only cat in the household for her entire nine years, so her compatibility with other cats is currently unknown. Slow, appropriate introductions are always recommended when bringing a new pet into the home. If you're looking for a mature companion who appreciates the calm, simple things in life, Lilith may be your girl. She would love a comfortable place to lounge, good food, and a family whose company she can enjoy throughout her golden years. Lilith's adoption fee is $30. She is spayed, microchipped, and current on her FVRCP vaccination. She is scheduled to receive her rabies vaccination and FIV/FeLV testing on Wednesday, 09/23/26. If you are interested in making Lilith part of your family, please submit an online adoption application at: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ An approved adoption application is required prior to scheduling a meet and greet or moving forward with adoption.

17. Medea

Female · American Shorthair (short coat)

To meet Medea, please text 214 621 1139.

Medea is a majestic, house-panther-sized diva who firmly believes she is the radiant center of the universe. Tipping the scales with pure, unadulterated jollity, she carries her round silhouette with the cheerful swagger of someone who has never met a carb she didn't like. While folklore suggests black cats bring mystery and quiet shadows, Medea clearly missed the memo. She operates strictly on sunshine, boundless optimism, and an overwhelming desire to narrate every single moment of her day.

Read more about Medea

Silence simply does not exist in Medea’s world. Whether she is announcing her triumphant arrival from a nap, reviewing the quality of her dry kibble, or giving a breathless running commentary on a dust mote drifting near the baseboards, she always has a speech prepared. Her sunny disposition means every chirp, trill, and dramatic yell is delivered with maximum charm and zero indoor voice. To know Medea is to love her, mostly because she will happily corner you in the kitchen and talk your ear off until you agree that she is, indeed, the sweetest giant muffin to ever grace the tile floor.

29. Sasha

Young · Female · Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

To meet Sasha, please text 214 621 1139.

Sasha is as gorgeous in life as she is in photos. This little calico kitten was found wandering around outdoors, happily enjoying her explorations. What she doesn't know is how cruel the world can be to stray cats. Our rescue brought her into foster care where she now sits on plump cushions, surrounded by toys and treats. As she is still very young, Sasha is always looking for another kitty or a human hand to wrestle with. She is an active, high energy kitten with a very inquisitive outlook.

Read more about Sasha

Sasha is friendly and outgoing. She is fostered in a multi-cat household that also includes a large rambunctious dog. We are looking for the perfect family to introduce this stunning kitten to. She will be an amazing companion and loving member of any family lucky to adopt her.

Note: This kitty must be adopted into a home with another young kitty or with a sibling. She cannot be adopted into a home with no other young kitties to socialize with.

Please note the following: We always do vet reference checks and we WILL NOT adopt kittens or cats into household where the residential pets are unvaccinated. This is to ensure the safety of BOTH our kitten/cat and your current pets.

Read more about Princess Pineapple

Have you ever seen a ripened pineapple, with its dappled orange, brown and black patterns? This is what our Princess Pineapple looks like. She has the sweet temperament of the tabby kittens, and she has the soft orange coloration of the calico kittens. Princess Pineapple has the prettiest facial markings. She is such a gentle and sweet-tempered kitty in every way. She is quiet and laid back as is the nature of most tabby kitties. She gets along with all cats in her foster home and often joins them in rambunctious play. However, she will come up and snuggle with her favorite foster parent when it's down time. We love this gentle princess who has the manner of royalty and the looks to match.

If anyone is looking for a sugary-sweet little kitty with the prettiest eyes and face, look no further. Princess Pineapple is charming in every way and she will make a wonderful addition to any family lucky enough to adopt her.

Please note the following: We always do vet reference checks and we WILL NOT adopt kittens or cats into household where the residential pets are unvaccinated. This is to ensure the safety of BOTH our kitten/cat and your current pets.

Adopting a cat in Fannin County

Most rescues ask you to fill in an application, meet the cat, and pay an adoption fee that usually covers spaying or neutering, vaccinations and a microchip. Many are foster-based, so you'll often meet your cat in a volunteer's home rather than a shelter.

Senior cats are often the calmest companions and the slowest to find homes. If you'd like a settled, affectionate cat, ask the rescues about their older residents.

Kittens go quickly, especially in spring and summer. If you've fallen for one, contact the rescue soon, and think about adopting two: young cats keep each other company and out of mischief.
