Read more about Chai

Chai is a calm, gentle little lady who absolutely loves the company of her brother and foster sisters. Bringing a cat home to your dog

Tell the rescue about your dog: their size, age and energy. A cat who has lived with a calm dog may still be nervous around a bouncy puppy.

Introduce them slowly. Keep the cat in a room of their own for the first few days, swap bedding so they get used to each other's scent, and then let them meet with the dog on a leash.

Make sure the cat can always get somewhere the dog can't reach, and keep the litter box and food bowls out of the dog's way.
