Double the kittens, double the love! Callie and Cleo are a bonded pair of 5-month-old sisters who are looking for a forever home together. These two are the perfect mix of playful fun and cozy cuddles, and wherever one goes, the other is never far behind!
Read more about Callie & Cleo
They love chasing each other around, playing together, curling up for naps, and even grooming each other. If one discovers something interesting to watch or investigate, the other is sure to follow along! They share a special connection that makes everything more fun when they’re together.
Callie is the playful little entertainer who loves zooming around the house, making adorable chirping sounds, and proudly carrying her favorite scrunchie toy in her mouth. Cleo is the gentle, mellow sweetheart with beautiful blue eyes and a loud, motorboat-like purr. She loves finding the coziest places to nap and snuggling up beside you on the couch.
Both girls are spayed, vaccinated, and dewormed. They’re ready to bring twice the personality, twice the cuddles, and a lifetime of love to their new family.
These sisters have grown up side by side, and we would love to see them continue their journey together. If you have room in your heart and home for two sweet girls, Callie and Cleo would love to meet you!

2. binx c.
Kitten (3 months 9 days) · Male · Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat)

Binx is an adorable, neutered black domestic shorthair kitten who is affectionate to the point of being delightfully annoying. He always wants to be wherever you are, and the second you touch him, the purring begins.
This little guy is full of kitten energy and loves to play, especially with other cats. He wrestles regularly with the resident cat and would love a feline playmate in his forever home. He also co-exists happily with the resident 50-pound dog, so he's proven he can handle a big personality (and a big housemate) with ease.
Binx has a great appetite and a voice to match. He's vocal enough to let you know when he wants food or love, and he's not shy about asking for either.
If you're looking for a sweet, social shadow who will follow you from room to room and purr the whole way, Binx is ready to be your guy. A home with another playful cat would make him extra happy.

3. Phoenix
Kitten (2 months 13 days) · Female · Calico / Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat)

These four adorable kittens are incredibly pretty and well-behaved and love people. They enjoy playing and being together. She's more petite than her brothers, but she's quite up to everything they are when it comes time to play.

Meet Mocha & Latte — Bonded Sisters
Mocha (black, short hair) and Latte (gray tabby, medium hair) are bonded sisters who were rescued from a backyard. These cuties have been spayed and vaccinated through Nine Lives, and have been inseparable ever since!
Read more about Mocha & Latte
Both sisters are a little shy, but they each have their own personality. Mocha is the more outgoing and talkative of the two. She can’t resist a good play session and will happily jump and chase a wand or string toy. She’s also easily won over with Churu or Temptations treats! Latte is still learning to feel comfortable around people, but she loves to roughhouse and play with her sister.
When they’re not busy playing, these girls love to cuddle up, roll around together, and groom each other. Their overnight camera footage shows them running, chasing, and wrestling their way through the night. Their close bond is clear, and they’ll need a home where they can stay together and continue building confidence at their own pace.
They haven’t been introduced to other pets or children, although they seem able to tolerate the noise of toddlers when they have space to themselves. Both are reliable litter box users.
Due to human allergies in their current home, Mocha and Latte have been eating Purina ONE LiveClear Allergen-Reducing Formula, but they can transition to other appropriate kitten foods.

9. wanda
Kitten (3 months 19 days) · Female · Tabby / Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat)

Wanda is an energetic ball of fun. She races around with her sisters, oblivious to anything in the world except the task at hand: play. She can fly through the to catch a feather wand, attack a crinkle ball like it owes her money and chase a spring all across the room. Her sisters love to engage in unending rounds of Wrestle-mania.

Wanda is curious and adventurous. She is eager to explore everything about the world around her, examine every corner, sniff out every new experience. She is interested in the activities of her humans and will supervise them until she is satisfied, then move on to her next venture. This exuberant little furball is simply a delight. 10. ms.marvel
Kitten (3 months 19 days) · Female · Tabby / Domestic Long Hair / Mixed (long coat)

Ms Marvel is a long furred beauty who is wise, gentle girl. She’s pure kitten when it comes to playing and she is all in with her sisters, wrestling and chasing each other until they drop. She loves a fuzzy worm toy and will chase a spring across the floor until it disappears into the void that cat toys retreat to, then come back to find her next subject.
This sensitive girl gets along well with other cats and knows how to approach them gently and carefully. She understands how to just be still while others adjust. There’s a very smart princess under all that fluff- she lives up to her name. She’s an exceptional kitty for someone who can appreciate her old soul energy. And when she’s not taking care of all those around her, you can find her curled up close, resting up for another episode of play and kitten mayhem. The best of both worlds.

THIS animal listing is a COURTESY LISTING - not a 13th St Cat Rescue animal. See information about whom to contact in bio THANK YOU
Birch is a very nosy kitten who demands lots of attention and spends his time getting into small places. He may be a bit shy at first, but he can be bribed with food and loves cheek and side rubs. Once he gets the proper attention, he purrs loudly and starts licking any part of your arm he can reach, and he's mastered the art of flopping down for a belly rub. He's currently fostered with his brother Juniper who he spends most of his time playing and cuddling with.

THIS animal listing is a COURTESY LISTING - not a 13th St Cat Rescue animal.

Milo is one funny kitty. He was rescued from a managed feeding station because he kept playing in the street ignoring the cars speeding by. Once released from his kennel he showed his true side, his belly. This cat loves to roll over for belly rubs. He bounces like a rubber ball. He takes pets like they are going out of style. He is easily picked up and transported anywhere. He is slowing learning that indoors is not scary but he will need time.

Milo needs a safe yard to play in with his new owner. My resident cats are 10-14 years older than him and they want a quieter life. Please consider giving Milo a home.

Meet Mittens: The River Trail Legend Seeking His Forever Castle!
For years, Mittens was the most sophisticated resident of the Guadalupe River Trail. But don't let his rugged trail cat past fool you—this dapper gentleman was always meant for the indoor life! With a stylishly clipped ear (his badge of honor from his TNR days), Mittens has officially retired from his dangerous outdoor adventures and is ready to trade river views for a cozy lap and a steady supply of treats.
Read more about Mr Mittens
Mittens is a rare treasure with soulful green eyes, a soft coat, and—the best part—extra toes! That’s right, he’s polydactyl, which means he has more beans to love. He’s the ultimate polite roommate: fully litter-trained, an instant purr-machine, and a professional greeter who treats every guest like a long-lost friend.
Key Personality Traits
The Head-Bump King: Mittens lives for affection. He will graciously offer head bumps and happily let you hold him for as long as your arms can keep up! Loves laps!
Balanced Energy: Not at all hyperactive.
Social: Greets you at the door with a soft, happy chirp.
Low Maintenance: Uses his litter box cleanly.
Fearless Explorer: This brave boy doesn't shy away from anything. He’s so chill he might even enjoy a backpack hike or a bike ride in a carrier—he's a trail cat at heart, after all!
Quick Facts
Independently Rescued: I started seeing and feeding this guy along the Guadalupe River Trail for a few months and finally decided to nab him and try to find him a home. He’s so tame I was able to pick him up and put him in my carrier without fuss.
Health: Vaccinated (FVRCP, Rabies), micro-chipped, de-wormed, treated for fleas, negative FIV/FeLV tested, and neutered. Blood testing shows no issues.
Requirements For Adoption
Indoors: Indoor only or in a catio (recommended).
The One and Only Rule: Mittens is a superstar who refuses to share the spotlight. He needs to be the only cat in the home (and probably the only dog, too). He has so much love to give that you won’t even need another pet!
Adoption Fee: $125

He lives to play, especially chasing a feather wand toy or ping pong ball, and is also good with self play. He loves to be petted and sleeps next to his fosters. He would do best as an only cat.

Meet Bruce the Spruce, the gentle giant looking for fun and lounging
Meet Bruce the Spruce, the gentle giant looking for an experienced cat person who wants their own live in groupie or adoring fan. Found on the streets of San Jose and currently in foster, this orange tabby has the face (and size!) of a regal lion, but don't let his size fool you. If this cat had a theme song, it'd be Foreigner's "I wanna know what love is. I want you to show me."
Read more about Bruce
Bruce needs a little time to build confidence in his new home. Once he settles in, prepare yourself for the sweetest kitty who loves cheek scritches, the grooming brush, and hands capable of a good scratch. He will give you affectionate head butts and chirps while he enjoys your affection. Sometimes he will need to take a personal break on a cat tree, where he prefers to recharge his feline bravery battery, but he'll be back to his search for your love in no time. He gets along incredibly well with other cats and is gentle and kind (he'd be great with a kitten, older kitty, or with multiple cats who enjoy a chill household). He loves to play with stuffed toys and the feather wand and goes bonkers for food. Get ready to welcome the tree of a cat to your household.

19. max
Adult (4 years 2 months) · Male · Tabby / Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

Just look at that face! Max is a handsome 4-year-old tabby with gorgeous green-gold eyes, bold markings, magnificent whiskers—and a story of resilience written all over him.
Read more about max
For part, if not all, of his life, Max lived outdoors. Life wasn’t easy. He had to find his own food, compete with other outdoor and feral cats, and he may not always have had positive experiences with people. When he was rescued, Max was found injured with what appeared to be a broken arrow or stick in his back. Today, his injury has healed, he has been neutered and vaccinated, he’s looking healthier—and he’s discovered that life indoors can be pretty good.
In just 4 months with his foster, Max has made remarkable progress.
The frightened, anxious cat who first arrived now loves being pet and has discovered the joy of head, cheek and chin scratches. Once he feels safe with you, he’ll even come over asking for more, and come looking for cuddles in bed!
And Max has plenty to say! He’s a wonderfully vocal boy who greets his caretakers with chatter, as though he’s asking, “Where have you been?” He enjoys being nearby and will follow you from room to room to keep up with the action. And as you can see from his photos, this former outdoor survivor is getting pretty good at lounging around and enjoying the comforts of indoor life.
Max is still learning one very important lesson: food will always be there.
After spending some of his life never knowing when his next meal would come—or whether another cat might get to it first—Max can understandably become anxious at mealtime. Sometimes he’ll reach with his paw because his survival instincts still tell him, “Get the food while you can!”
His foster is patiently teaching him something completely new:
You don’t have to grab it, Good Boy. This meal is yours. No one is going to take it away.
And Max is learning. He’s already made great progress in a short amount of time, and now loves being pet, cuddling, and treats from both his favorite humans and any visitors. The quickest way to this boy’s heart is treats and pets!
Behind those beautiful eyes is a Good Boy who has discovered that hands can bring pets instead of fear, that a soft place is meant for sleeping, that meals arrive every day, and that humans can be friends.
Max hasn’t always had the easiest life, and he’s looking for a human who will give him what he needs to simply be a cat, and is willing to provide him with plenty of attention and scratches!"

Meet Lokki!
Lokki is a gentle, easygoing boy who is ready to trade outdoor life for the comfort and security of a loving indoor home. He clearly enjoys being around people and deserves a family who can give him the love, safety, and care he's been missing.
Read more about Lokki
Despite reaching out to multiple local shelters, they have all been at capacity, so I am privately rehoming Lokki in hopes of finding him the forever home he deserves. Because of some ongoing medical needs, an indoor home is especially important for his health and quality of life.
Personality
Lokki is incredibly calm, affectionate, and easy to handle. He quickly warmed up to me, allowing me to pet him, pick him up, brush him, wipe his eyes, touch his paws, and even give him medication without much fuss. He's a chatty boy who isn't shy about sharing his opinions with a few meows! Whenever I'm outside in the yard or garage, he'll happily settle down nearby just to keep me company. He loves meeting new people and greets them by rubbing against their legs in search of pets. He's also litter box trained and, because of his urinary condition, will do best with at least two litter boxes.
Medical Needs
Lokki has a history of urinary crystals and a urinary blockage, which are common issues in male cats. He'll need to eat primarily wet food and always have access to plenty of fresh water. Keeping his stress low, providing environmental enrichment, and encouraging good hydration are all important parts of helping him stay healthy. With the right care, many cats with urinary issues go on to live happy, comfortable lives.

21. London
Adult (5 years) · Male · American Shorthair (short coat)

THIS animal listing is a COURTESY LISTING - not a 13th St Cat Rescue animal.
See information about whom to contact in bio THANK YOU
London is a handsome 5-year-old neutered American Shorthair with beautiful brown and black tabby markings and expressive golden-green eyes. We've had him since he was an 8-week-old kitten, and he's been a beloved part of our family ever since.
London is an indoor-only cat and has excellent litter box habits. He has always used his litter box consistently and has never had issues with accidents.
Read more about London
His personality is a fun mix of playful and relaxed. He enjoys chasing toys, exploring around the house, lounging in sunny spots, and keeping an eye on what's happening around him. He's especially fond of spending time near his people, whether that's supervising work from a laptop, loafing in the hallway, or stretching out on the floor after playtime.
London can be a little protective of his home and the people he loves. Once he's comfortable, he's affectionate and enjoys pets, attention, and interactive play. He would likely do best with someone who understands that he may need a little time to warm up to new people and environments.
Since welcoming our baby, we've unfortunately had much less time to dedicate to playing with him, so he's become a bit heavier than his ideal weight. With regular play sessions and activity, we think he'll easily slim back down.
We're looking for a home where London can receive the attention, playtime, and companionship he deserves. We truly believe he'll thrive with someone who can give him the time and consistency that's become difficult for us during this season of life.
Quick Facts:
5-year-old neutered American Shorthair
Indoor-only
Excellent litter box habits
Playful, curious, and loves lounging
❤️ Affectionate once he knows and trusts you
⚖️ Slightly overweight from reduced activity, but otherwise healthy

Loki Loe and his sister Dosa Doe were rescued at a community cat feeding station. Later we found their brother Rocky, a twin to Dosa Doe. Initially shy, all kittens have blossomed into friendly playful pets. They like ping-pong balls, stuffed toys, mice, crinkle balls and more. Time with their humans and wand toys makes for a great playdate. After exercising and snacks, the kittens like afternoon naps. This gets them ready for the next play session.

24. Fortune
Adult (1 year 5 months) · Male · Tabby / Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat)

Fortune is a very friendly kitty and he has been enjoying the run of our home when we are home. He really enjoys his cat trees and lying in the sun. One thing that's a favorite of his is sleeping with you. He likes to sleep on your lap, and next to you on his cat tree when he isn't running all over the house; he does get the zoomies, and it’s so funny to watch him sprint all over for no obvious reason! He's a fairly young cat, a little over one year old. We have been working with him on getting his mouth into better health, so we would want to see that continued. We can consider him as a foster kitty, if you're interested in trying him that way. He's very interested in our foster kittens and he would like to play with other cats, but it would have to be a slow introduction; he does play well on his own, so he will be fine as the only cat in a home!

Jasper is a beautiful Tortoiseshell Tabby and she has green eyes, she is on the smaller size and weighs a little less than 8 pounds, she has short fur which is mostly orange, brown, and black.
She is spayed and she is up to date on all her vaccines. She had a flea treatment recently and her nails are trimmed. She recently went to the vet to remove two foxtails from her mouth but she is on the mend and has fully recovered.

She has been an outdoor/indoor cat, and she eats both kibble and wet food, and uses her litterbox regularly. We feed her twice a day.
She loves being scratched especially on the top of her head and under her chin. She does this dolphin move where if you put your hand above her head she will lift up so she can get her head petted. She loves chasing balls especially the ones with catnip. She loves to stretch and she has loud purrs.
Once she gets to know you, she will purr, while you pet and love her. She likes to do biscuits. She doesn’t like to be picked up but she will lay close to you.
She definitely gets along with other cats, but is afraid of large dogs with a loud bark. She would do well with children. She adapts well in different environments and loves the human touch. She can be energetic at night but she is also mellow and quiet during the day.
We have been fostering her for a few months now, but we are moving abroad and we can’t take her with us.

How to adopt from 13thstcats.org
To meet our rescued cats/kitten: we ask that you fill out an adoption application first. Once you submit an application, a volunteer will contact you. All of our kitties are in foster homes; some can be seen at the foster homes, or at an upcoming Adoption Fair. We ask for your understanding: We are an all-volunteer organization and many of us have full-time jobs outside of our volunteer activities; therefore, it may be a few days before someone can respond to your email. We always try to reply as soon as possible. The kitties are for adoption, not for sale. Adoption fee for kittens is $125 ($200 for two) to help cover some of our food and veterinary expenses. All cats and kittens are: vaccinated as appropriate for their age microchipped dewormed deflead tested for FELV (feline leukemia) / FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) spayed/neutered prior to adoption We will ask you some questions about your home and we will be glad to answer any questions you may have. Adopting a kitty is a long-term commitment; the average life span for a kitty is 15-20 years. Most of our cats are in foster homes with other cats. They get lonely and bored without the company of their own kind, just like people. We try to place cats that enjoy the company of other cats in a home where there is feline companionship. But we do have many cats that would be happy to be the only cat in your life! Regardless of how an animal comes to us, we provide food, shelter, and medical care.
