2. Lucille
You can apply for Lucille at www.ladyluckanimalrescue.org under the “Adopt/Foster” Tab.
Lucille is a ginger tabby female kitten born approximately May 21, 2026. She and her two siblings came to us from Miami-Dade Animal Services. The trio were very sick with upper respiratory infections as well as eye infections. After much TLC, she is ready for adoption! Lucille is the absolute perfect blend of sweet and playful! She immediately starts up her purr machine as soon as you begin petting her, soaking up every bit of affection you have to give. Whether she’s chasing toys with enthusiastic energy or curling up nearby for cuddle time, her happy personality lights up the whole room.

Lucille has a uniquely adorable look with her slightly shortened tail and soft, foggy eyes (due to scarring), but those special traits don't stop her at all from playing, exploring, and living life to the fullest! She is ready to bring endless purrs, joy, and companionship to her forever family.
Lucille is spayed, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested negative, fecal tested negative, dewormed, and vaccinated (including rabies). She is fostered in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Desi is an all-black male domestic shorthair kitten born approximately May 21, 2026. He and his two siblings came to us from Miami-Dade Animal Services. The trio were very sick with upper respiratory infections as well as eye infections. Desi also has a slight fog in his eyes due to scaring, but it doesn't slow him down for a single second; his confidence, playful spirit and absolute devotion to cuddles shine through in everything he does. After much TLC and seeing the eye doctor, Desi is ready for his furever home! This kitten is the ultimate purr machine and loving center of attention! As the dominant yet deeply affectionate boy of the litter, Desi makes sure he’s always right in the middle of everything—whether he's energetically tumbling around with his sisters, Ethel and Lucille, or ensuring you are petting him at all times possible.

4. Hudson
You can apply for Hudson at www.ladyluckanimalrescue.org under the “Adopt/Foster” Tab.
Hudson is the sweetest orange tabby boy, born around 5/28/2026. He and his siblings came to us from Miami-Dade Animal Services (they were confiscated from the previous owner) looking a bit rough! Thankfully, some TLC brought out how sweet and adorable he is! Hudson is the biggest cuddle bug of the bunch and absolutely LOVES people. He is incredibly friendly, playful and affectionate, and if there is a human available for cuddling, Hudson will be there! He has all the classic orange cat energy—you never quite know what kind of shenanigans he’ll get himself into, but you can always count on him being adorable.

Hudson would do wonderfully in a home with another friendly cat and would love having a feline friend to play with. He does not like dogs, so his ideal home would be dog-free.
Hudson is neutered, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested negative, fecal tested negative, dewormed, and vaccinated (including rabies). He is fostered in Planation, FL.

5. Essex
You can apply for Essex at www.ladyluckanimalrescue.org under the “Adopt/Foster” Tab.
Essex is a beautiful dilute calico girl born around 5/28/2026, and she is the little diva of the litter! She and her siblings came to us from Miami-Dade Animal Services (they were confiscated from the previous owner) after arriving with upper respiratory infections. Once she got some TLC, it became clear that Essex was going to be a very special little lady. While her siblings are busy ripping and running around like wild animals, Essex is usually off to the side, calmly observing the chaos. She is playful and curious, but she has a much more genteel approach to kittenhood.

She's not like those other girls. She is very demure. Very mindful. Essex is sweet and affectionate and would love a home where she can have plenty of attention, playtime and a cozy place to supervise all household activities. Risotto aka “Rizzo” aka “Rizz” is a black domestic shorthair male kitten born approximately May 10, 2026. Rizzo rose to front man… from shy kitty, to now the first to explore any new situation or new animal in their territory to be sure it’s safe for his sisters, he’s the best big brother! He’s a rowdy little critter...

Spaghetti aka “Sketti” is a brown tabby female kitten born approximately May 10, 2026. Think of how a 2-year-old might ask for their favorite pasta…This is Sketti!! She’s always been the biggest at every weight in out of her trio. She’s made her mark on her foster family, because she was the biggest transformation! Coming straight off the street and into a strangers home, with little to no human interaction before this.

She was sooo terrified! Wide eyed anytime they came near.. hiding behind anything she could, scrambling to get away if they had to handle her. But now, she’s a total love bug! She’s surpassed all of her siblings! She’s the first to greet her foster mom everyday! Sketti even reaches up and does these little stretches when she’s asking for attention, it’s the cutest thing ever! She now sits back to enjoy the show, and has blossomed into her little independent self, and acts wise beyond her years.

26. Madison
You can apply for Madison at www.ladyluckanimalrescue.org under the “Adopt/Foster” Tab.
Madison is an adorable calico girl born around 5/28/2026, and she is definitely the mischievous one of the litter! She and her siblings came to us from Miami-Dade Animal Services (they were confiscated from the previous owner) after arriving with upper respiratory infections and looking, well… pretty crusty and rough around the edges! But after some TLC, this sweet girl was ready to show us her true personality. Madison is playful, affectionate and just a little bit mischievous —in the most adorable way possible.
Read more about Madison
She is a total catbird who loves climbing right up onto your neck or shoulder and rubbing her face all over you. She wants to be right in the middle of whatever you're doing! 27. Dune
You can apply for Dune at www.ladyluckanimalrescue.org under the “Adopt/Foster” Tab.
Dune is a domestic shorthair orange tabby male kitten, born approximately April 15, 2026. He was found living outdoors with his mom and sister, Turtle, under a foreclosed home, where the little family had been surviving together. Lady Luck Animal Rescue quickly came to their aid, providing the guidance and support they needed and taking the lead on finding each of them the perfect forever home. Dune is an exceptionally beautiful boy. His orange coat is covered in distinctive swirls and markings that look like patterns in the sand dunes, making his name a perfect fit.

With his light eyes and angelic little face, there’s something especially striking about him. A little shy at first, he’s gaining confidence every day. What started as uncertainty in his new surroundings has given way to playing, exploring and becoming increasingly comfortable with the people around him. One of his favorite things is the play tube he shares with his sister. But for a kitten, he’s also remarkably chill—there’s an almost old-soul quality about him. Gentle, sweet and playful, this little guy has come a long way from his life outdoors. With a little patience and lots of love, he’ll continue building his confidence and showing more of his wonderful personality.
Dune is neutered, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested negative, fecal tested negative, dewormed, and vaccinated (including rabies). He is fostered in Hollywood, FL.

28. Turtle
You can apply for Turtle at www.ladyluckanimalrescue.org under the “Adopt/Foster” Tab.
Turtle is a tortoiseshell female kitten born approximately April 15, 2026. Her story began outdoors. She was discovered with her mom and brother, Dune, taking shelter beneath a foreclosed home. When the little family needed help, Lady Luck Animal Rescue graciously and immediately stepped in to provide guidance, support and oversee their adoption process. This beautiful little tortie seems to get prettier by the day. More and more orange is emerging throughout her dark coat as she grows, making her already distinctive tortie markings even more striking.

Her big, expressive eyes and tiny, sweet face only add to her beauty. Playful, curious and full of personality, she already has some of that famous tortie attitude. When she gets excited, she wags her tail so enthusiastically that her whole little butt wiggles along with it. Her playful side really takes over when Dune is around. Their beloved tube is the center of countless games of hide-and-seek, with the two popping in and out and chasing each other around. True to her name, this tiny girl is slowly but surely coming out of her shell. Give her a little patience and the chance to feel safe on her own terms, and you’ll get the joy of watching more of that sweet—and slightly sassy—personality emerge every day.
Turtle is spayed, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested negative, fecal tested negative, dewormed, and vaccinated (including rabies). She is fostered in Hollywood, FL.

Adopting a cat in Plantation
Most rescues ask you to fill in an application, meet the cat, and pay an adoption fee that usually covers spaying or neutering, vaccinations and a microchip. Many are foster-based, so you'll often meet your cat in a volunteer's home rather than a shelter.
Senior cats are often the calmest companions and the slowest to find homes. If you'd like a settled, affectionate cat, ask the rescues about their older residents.
Kittens go quickly, especially in spring and summer. If you've fallen for one, contact the rescue soon, and think about adopting two: young cats keep each other company and out of mischief.
