Adult · Male · Domestic Short Hair (short coat) · 7 mi from Sanford

Brother | The Comeback KingAPPLY HERE: https://linktr.ee/savinglivyMeet Brother, a handsome grey and white boy with striking green eyes, a white bib, and white socks. Brother's story is one of second chances. He was raised from a kitten by the founder of another rescue, adopted into a home for years, and then returned with a severe, painful skin condition when his adopters couldn't give him the care he needed. On August 13, 2026, he came to Saving Livy in a rescue-to-rescue trade, and that's when his comeback began. With love, care, and lots of silver sulfadiazine cream, his skin healed dramatically — his healing journey photos tell the whole story, from worst to fully healed.

3. Sabrina

Young (2 years 1 month) · Female · Domestic Short Hair (short coat) · 17 mi from Sanford

Sabrina is exactly like a homemade cookie or favorite blanket - warm, soft and comforting. Curious and intelligent, cozy and quiet, she learns routines quickly and loves to observe everything you do. Sabrina would love to be your only pet or share the space with a calm, respectful cat after a slow and intentional introduction (she is friendly with other cats and tends to avoid conflict, but I always recommend Jackson Galaxy's method for proper introductions). Her ideal home? Quiet and full of cozy spaces- especially by the window. Sabrina is shy but sweet and is the kind of cat who will come running to greet you at the door and jump on the couch to binge watch with you for a good cuddle and peaceful vibes.

If you’re looking for a low-key feline friend Sabrina may just be your perfect match. Sabrina is easily one of the most well-behaved cats I've ever had the pleasure of fostering, and I hope someone just as special takes a chance on her because she is soul cat material - the kind of cat that makes people who don't like cats change their minds. Bubba (also known as Bubba Ganoush or Bubba Baby) is a playful and fun cat! He loves to be near his people all day. If he’s not sitting on your lap, he’s perched on a cat tower or laying on the couch near you. Bubba was rescued as a stray and he adapted to house cat life so quickly. He plays well with other cats and has learned appropriate cat behavior from his cat foster siblings. It seems the only habit he’s held on to from street cat life is some food anxiety. He can be a little too eager to eat, but is never aggressive over food. His foster parents have nothing but great things to say about him and he will be a wonderful addition to someone's home!

Meet Jack—your new cuddle buddy!

Jack is a sweet, loving six-month-old kitten whose favorite place to sleep is curled up beside you. Playful and friendly, he gets along beautifully with dogs, other cats, and even rabbits!

Born on Easter Sunday in a neighbor’s front yard, Jack had a difficult beginning. After his mother tragically died from suspected secondary rat poisoning, we searched for three days before finding Jack and his two siblings. He weighed just seven ounces when rescued. With plenty of love and care, he has grown into a healthy five-pound sweetheart, and both of his siblings have found their forever homes.

14. Belle

Young (2 years) · Female · Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) · 17 mi from Sanford

Meet Belle, a sweet two-year-old girl looking for her forever home!

Belle came to OCAS with an injured tail and needed emergency surgery. Now she has recovered and is ready for a fresh start!

Belle is the ultimate lap cat: affectionate, gentle, and happiest in a peaceful home. She loves cozy naps, watching the world through the window, and sleeping cheek-to-cheek with her foster mom. A true philosopher, she prefers cuddles to running around and even enjoys falling asleep to thrillers on TV! With her round, impossibly soft body and little bobtail, she resembles both a British Shorthair and a Kurilian Bobtail.

15. Space Camp

Young (4 months 26 days) · Female · Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) · 7 mi from Sanford

Meet Space Camp!
She is one of those rare female gingers and is the shyest and gentlest member of the Camper litter. She can be reserved around new people and may need a little time to feel comfortable, but underneath that cautious exterior is a kind, loving, and happy kitten. Once she feels safe, her purrs begin, her affectionate personality comes through, and she will repay your patience with cuddles and love.

Read more about Space Camp

Space prefers quieter playtime and enjoys small plastic toys, catnip toys, and feather wands. She has not been introduced to dogs but loves being around other cats. Her ideal home would be a calm household with a patient family and a friendly feline companion to help her feel secure.

Space shares an incredibly special bond with her brother, Band Camp. Band is outgoing, playful, and adventurous, while Space is gentle, thoughtful, and reserved. Their personalities perfectly complement each other, and his confidence helps her adjust to new situations. They play together, sleep together, and can often be found cuddling with their paws wrapped around each other. Watching them hug, play, and care for one another is truly wonderful.

Our greatest hope is that Space and Band will be adopted together. Band gives Space confidence and reassurance, while Space gives Band a gentle, loving companion. Adopting them as a pair would allow them to adjust to their new home together while giving their family twice the affection, entertainment, and love.

Space Camp is litter-box trained and uses her kitten scratch boards. She is tested neg /neg for FIV and FeLV, microchipped, spayed, and has completed her age-appropriate vaccinations.

Preference will be given to a family interested in adopting Space Camp and Band Camp together. However, individual adoption may still be considered if the right patient home and suitable feline companionship are available.

16. Band Camp

Young (4 months 26 days) · Male · Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) · 7 mi from Sanford

Meet Band Camp, the most outgoing and energetic member of the Camper litter! This handsome little guy is extremely loving, endlessly curious, and happiest when he is near his people. Band is always ready for playtime, kitten parkour, or an investigation of something new. To him, everything is a toy. His favorites are squishy toys, mylar balls, plastic springs, feather wands, and shoelaces. He also enjoys scratching posts and kitten scratch boards.

Read more about Band Camp

Once playtime is over, Band’s affectionate side takes over. His purr motor is fully installed, and he is an excellent lap cat and snuggle buddy. He loves attention, seeks out human companionship, and will happily curl up with his foster family when he is ready for a nap. Band has not yet been exposed to dogs, but with his confident and social personality, he may do well with a cat-friendly dog after slow and careful introductions. He is gentle enough for pet respectful children age 8 or older. Because he is a quick and energetic kitten who loves racing underfoot, he may not be the best match for an elderly household. Band is litter-box trained and uses his scratching surfaces appropriately. Band is neutered, completed his kitten vaccination series, Rabies vaccs, microchipped, and is FIV neg /FeLV neg.

Preference will be given to a family interested in adopting Band Camp and Space Camp together.
Band shares a special bond with his sister, Space Camp. Band is the confident adventurer, while Space is the sweet, gentle observer. Their personalities perfectly complement each other, and they bring out the best in one another. They play together, sleep together, and can often be found cuddling with their paws wrapped around each other. Band’s confidence helps Space feel safe, while her calm nature gives him a loving companion when playtime is over. Our ideal outcome would be for Band and Space to be adopted together. They are a ready-made family and would enter their new home with a familiar playmate, snuggle partner, and source of comfort. For someone considering two kittens, they truly are a perfect pair.

19. Zoe

Adult (12 years) · Female · Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) · 17 mi from Sanford

Meet Zoe, the biggest and most gorgeous kitty ever!

Read more about Zoe

Eyes popped when Zoe arrived at Orange County Animal Shelter back in May: we couldn't believe that she weighed a whopping 23 lbs...that's more than double the weight of a healthy adult cat! Poor Zoe was surrendered by her owners of twelve years, because she did not approve of the new baby in the house. At the shelter, she was understandably stressed and was lashing out. No one could even touch her, and even approaching her cage made Zoe hiss and swat. Then, she came down with an upper respiratory infection (a kitty cold), which only added to her misery. We knew she wouldn't improve in the shelter environment, so Zoe came to foster care to recover emotionally from losing her home, get over her cold, and to lose some weight.

It took a few weeks for Zoe to get comfortable enough to allow her foster mom to pet her, but once she did, she loved being petted. What she craves most (beside treats) is being brushed! It is one of favorite things, and she will purrr and rub her head against the brush asking for more. Since Zoe was so fat, she couldn't reach around to groom her back, and the brushing felt wonderful. Her coat is very glossy now from all the pampering! Click on the short video below to see how much Zoe loves getting brushed. She also pats your arm when she wants to be petted, it is so cute!

Zoe is very affectionate and likes being around people, but she needs a certain kind of home: No young children, no other cats, and someone who understands that she has her boundaries. She wouldn't allow anyone to pick her up at first - probably because it wasn't comfortable due to her weight - but now she lets her foster mom hold her and even purrs. Zoe has made incredible progress since she's been in foster care, but she needs someone who respects her boundaries when she's "done" (don't we all)., and will let you know when she's getting annoyed (usually swishing her tail)

Zoe has lost an astonishing 6 lbs since May, and you can tell she feels so much better! She can now groom properly and even jumps around the room and up on the sofa asking for attention. At age 12, she's very vibrant, and had many more healthy, wonderful years left, especially as she continues to lose a bit more weight. She cannot be allowed to free-feed and can never eat people food or excessive treats. In foster care, Zoe eats two meals a day of high-quality cat kibble and some canned food on top. She gets two or three treats a day, and boy, does she look forward to them!

Zoe came to OCAS as a severely unhealthy, depressed, angry girl, and she's transformed over the last few months. We think that once she's in a stable, calm home and continues on her weight loss plan, she will get even better - physically and emotionally. Her foster mom says Zoe is loving, funny, and calm, and she's got a lot of love to give someone who can provide the environment and patience she needs.

Are you a perfect match for big, beautiful Zoe? Contact me, Caroline, to arrange a meet and greet!

You can text me: 407-340-7668 or email: Caroline@kittenschool.com for more info on Zoe and to arrange to come meet her. We are halfway between downtown Orlando and Millenia Mall area.

Zoe and I are looking forward to meeting you!

Adoption is through Orange County Animal Services, fee $50 and includes updated vaccines, microchip, and medical exam. Zoe's adopter will also go home with a large goody bag full of cat treats, toys, and other fun kitty items!

She loves playing feline supervisor, happily following your footsteps, dipping curious paws into running water, and letting you pick her up to carry her around like a baby. If you’re looking for a gentle, inquisitive shadow who blossoms into the ultimate cuddlebug, she is ready to be your constant companion.

Why adopt an adult cat in Sanford

An adult cat's personality is fully formed, so the rescue can tell you how they are with people, other pets and busy households. Many have lived in foster homes and are used to family life.

Grown cats are calmer and need less supervision than kittens, which suits people who work long hours or have young children.
