4. Cindy
Adult · Female · Russian Blue / Mixed (short coat) · 7 mi from Flemington

My name may be Silly, but there’s actually nothing silly about me at all. I’m a chatty, loving, and gentle girl who will make it very easy for you to fall in love.I came from a home with many other cats, and when my owner needed to reduce the number of cats in the house, I found myself looking for a new beginning. While my world changed overnight, I haven’t let it dim my sweet personality. I still greet people with affection, ask for attention, and happily chat away as if we’ve known each other forever.I love other cats and get along wonderfully with them. I’m also very food-motivated, so a tasty snack is a quick way to win my heart.

5. Starr
Adult · Female · Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) · 7 mi from Flemington

Hi, I’m Starr. Not too long ago, I was out in the world trying to survive while caring for my 5 tiny babies. Thankfully, we were rescued, and I was finally able to relax and be the mama my kittens needed. I loved my babies with all my heart, and when orphaned newborns desperately needed help, I opened my heart to them, too. Watching them grow strong has been my greatest joy. Now, my kittens are ready to find homes of their own, and for the first time, it’s my turn. I’m a sweet, friendly girl who loves people, but I’d rather be the only princess in the house Other cats just aren’t my thing. After spending so much of my life taking care of everyone else, I’m hoping to find someone who will take care of me.

6. Aladdin
Young · Male · Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) · 7 mi from Flemington

My name is Aladdin, and while my name may belong to a prince, my story certainly doesn’t. I wasn’t born into a palace or surrounded by luxury. I was rescued from the streets, where every day was about survival and hoping that someone would notice me.Life outside taught me to be cautious, so I can be a little nervous when meeting new people. But if you give me a chance and a little patience, you’ll discover the sweetest side of me. Once I know I’m safe, I turn into a purring, affectionate boy who simply wants to be loved.I don’t ask for much. A cozy spot to rest, gentle pets, and someone to call my own would mean everything to me.

I get along well with other cats and have a playful side, too. Wand toys are my absolute favorite, although I should warn you: once I get my paws on one, I’m not very good at sharing! The truth is, I’ve spent enough of my life wondering where I belong. I’ve survived the streets, but what I really want now is a family, a home, and someone who will look at me and decide that I’m worth choosing.I may not be a prince, but I promise to treasure my forever family like royalty. Could you be the one to give me the happy ending I’ve been waiting for? Meet Chloe Skye!
Chloe Skye is a petite boned 2 year old girl. She was originally found as a stray but has loved the indoor life since she got a taste of it!
She can be a little shy when introduced to new cats, so a slow introduction will be necessary if you want to integrate her into a busier home.
She is super adorable and loves attention from humans though!
We think she would be fine with kids, but she has not met any dogs yet.

11. Braveheart
Kitten (6 months) · Male · Domestic Short Hair · 18 mi from Flemington

Meet Braveheart! This sweet boy came from a feral colony site with 80 cats we helped tnr. He was tnred as he would constantly run from us. While in recovery from his neutering we noticed he would try to be brave and come get some pets. It did take us some time to earn him trust and will in his new home but he is totally worth it. He is extremely sweet and just wants constant pets now. He does still get nervous with things and will take off with loud noises but if you sit and have patience with him he will come back for the love. He even will yell at you if you stop petting him. He does love other cats and enjoys chasing and play wrestling with them so a home with another cat would be the best fit for him.

Yoda is playful, curious, and full of adventure. The moment his foster walks into the room, Yoda comes running with an enthusiastic meow to say hello! He is a total purr machine and absolutely loves attention and pets. He doesn’t mind being picked up or held, but this energetic boy usually has places to go and toys to chase, so he’ll quickly wiggle free and be off on his next adventure.

17. Alley
Young (1 year 2 months) · Female · Domestic Medium Hair · 18 mi from Flemington

Hi I'm Alley. I'm a sweet girl who is loving my foster's kisses and pets! I run to greet my foster with lots of chatter and mewos, never wanting her to leave. I did come from a hoarding home where I didn't receive the care and attention I so wanted and deserved. It would only take a hot minute for me to warm up to a human and just a bit for cats; as I had many in my previous home. I would love to find my furrever home so I could always share the love and attention I want to give. Now I am just waiting on you to meet me!

Contact Trenton Cats Rescue so we can have a brief conversation with you to determine your needs and preferences, find out about your daily schedule, and talk about your previous experience with pets. 4. For renters, check with your landlord to ensure that cats are permitted and that you would not be violating any pet restrictions. 5. We can help determine which cat best fits with your lifestyle or you can visit with one or more that most interest you. 6. Adopting a cat in Flemington
Most rescues ask you to fill in an application, meet the cat, and pay an adoption fee that usually covers spaying or neutering, vaccinations and a microchip. Many are foster-based, so you'll often meet your cat in a volunteer's home rather than a shelter.
Kittens go quickly, especially in spring and summer. If you've fallen for one, contact the rescue soon, and think about adopting two: young cats keep each other company and out of mischief.
