With his devilish good looks, this "Brooklyn Blue" is a boroughbred sweetheart with a confident attitude, who is ready to melt into your bed or couch to keep you company, will make an appearance on the Zoom call, and is chill with other cats and dogs. He is a playful guy with a sporty streak, so get ready for lots of playtime to keep him entertained. But after a workout, he's ready to chill out with you and keep you warm all winter long.

In September, Griffin trotted up to one of our rescuers who was holding an open cat treat after a rescue in Brownsville and said "yes please" and "thank you" as he climbed their leg to get the snack. With that brazen introduction, we knew unequivocally that this guy wanted to live the good life indoors. We quickly scooped him into a carrier and got him to safety, where he housed many cans of food and made himself comfy, and we intend to give him a future of only that life moving forward.
Griffin is approximately 2 years old, neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. He is negative for FeLV and FIV. He has been dewormed and treated for fleas.

2. Finley
Finley is the calmest, sweetest cat you could find. He is a cuddly boy who has a dream of a purr, likes play time and pets, and of course, any treats and snacks you want to give to him. He is a perfect cat for the household ready to bring on a first or second cat, and is a mature, elegant, yet goofy addition to the family. His foster says he is the chillest cat she's ever had, and we believe he'd do well in a household with kids, cats, or dogs, given the proper introductions.

This October, Finley showed up to a managed and TNR'd feral colony in Crown Heights, and made it known that he did not belong on the streets, following their regular caretaker with a polite but insistent meow requesting to come indoors. When he followed one of our rescuers back to their apartment door, we had no choice but to scoop him up and settle him back into the luxury and comfort he was accustomed to. We are so relieved he won't have to spend a hard winter on the streets, and delighted to give him a temporary spot to clean his crisp white socks while he waits for his person to come along.

Meet Petey, a sweet guy with a very important fashion statement: his adorable fur pattern makes him look like he’s wearing socks! And those socks are always on the move! Petey has a moderate energy level and loves a good play session, especially after a meal. Wand toys, springs, and balls are all on his favorites list, and come evening, you may catch him zooming around like he’s late for an autumn adventure.When the day winds down, Petey is happy to trade his zoomies for cozy cuddles, especially at bedtime. He’s also wonderfully nosy and loves keeping an eye on the world outside. Petey may enjoy having another kitty around, too.

Meet sweet Tootsie! Recently rescued, with her teen kitten, Baby Ruth(listed separately) these two were lucky to have a kind human looking out for them and asked us to bring them indoors. He did such a wonderful job socializing them while they were outdoors and couldn't believe how sweet they were!
Tootsie is ready for a fresh start and a home to call her own! She has a sweet, friendly and curious nature and is a joy to be around. She's an affectionate girl who enjoys interacting with people and happy to soak up all your attention!

Meet Toby! This gorgeous, stunning boy loves attention and petting. He is such a lovebug and will make a perfect couch potato and be your BFF. Rescued as a sweet, friendly cat on the streets of Canarsie, luckily he was picked up by a lovely rescuer who asked us to help find him a wonderful home. He may be a bit shy at first, but once he warms up to you, he is a perfect companion who will reward your patience with love and affection.

11. Pacino
Pacino is a sweet, curious, and playful black kitten who loves being around people and exploring the world around him! Pacino enjoys following you from room to room, looking for pets, attention, and his favorite cheek rubs. As a rescue, he can be a little shy at first, but he warms up quickly and loves spending time with his people, whether he's enjoying some lap time or keeping you entertained with his kitten antics.

Pacino is full of energy and loves chasing balls, pouncing on wand toys, and racing around with other feline friends. He's also a curious little observer who enjoys watching birds, bugs, and the world go by from a cozy window perch. He also loves treats! This food-motivated boy might even be a good candidate for learning commands, walking on a leash, or exploring in a cat backpack.

12. Rocco
Rocco is a sweet, affectionate, and outgoing teen kitten who loves being around people. He has an almost dog-like loyalty, greeting you at the door every time you come home with a loud purr and plenty of enthusiasm. He loves attention and will eagerly climb into your lap, nuzzle your face when you pick him up, and follow your hand with his head to make sure the pets don't stop. He's also wonderfully confident and friendly with new people, greeting visitors without a hint of shyness.

Rocco is a very energetic and playful kitten, especially when toys or treats are involved. This boy has some serious energy! He'll leap 5 feet high to catch a wand toy, and comes running whenever he thinks there might be treats. When mealtime rolls around, he has the sweetest little meow to remind you that he's waiting.
Rocco loves other cats and spends his days playing with his foster buddy, Pacino. He'd thrive in a home with another active cat who can match his enthusiasm, though a home where he'd be the only cat might be considered if it's the right fit. Meet Maggie, she is a beautiful & fluffy tabby girl. Maggie is a very sweet kitty who is rather chatty, she always responds when you call or speak to her. She goes crazy for Churu treats and has a great appetite. Maggie loves her play time, especially if you join in, yet she can be very independent and go exploring on her own. She will take a moment to get to know any new friends, Maggie will require a patient and loving person to gain her trust. You will, however, shortly be rewarded with a very affectionate kitty, who becomes a purring machine the moment you’re nearby and loves to be with her person. This gorgeous cat is just ready to meet her future forever family.

9/15/2026 a Colonia resident had a stray cat show up in her yard. He is very friendly and she came to AP for help. She agreed to foster him for a month until we could test and vet him. Dr Deb said he was very friendly but was not a fan of the other cats in the van.

Meet Bruno! This super sweet, fluffy boy is gorgeous and easygoing. He is a chill dude who loves to be brushed and is ready for a wonderful home where he can be your BFF. Bruno followed someone home and at first lived on their porch, then graduated to their office. He likes to claim his human and will swat or hiss if he sees another cat or dog as competition but then backs down if they stand up to him. As we believe Bruno is a Tiffany mix, his adoption fee is $250.

Sweet Cafe Au Lait was rescued with her 4 adorable kittens and is now ready to find a furever home of her own.
Cafe au Lait is a laid back cat who loves chin scratches. She loves napping in sunny windows and cardboard boxes but also has a playful side — particularly for dangly teaser toys. Cafe also loves a good treat, and will tell you quite loudly when she thinks it's time for a snack! Cafe gets along with other cats, but generally prefers to be on her own -- she'd love to be the only pet so she can soak up all the attention!

Protegé is a lovely, handsome tabby boy. He likes being pet, loves to eat and loves his bed. He is a great companion for hanging out and he will be there when you need a hug. He is a lovebug but also independent and not too clingy - a perfect kitty for someone who works full-time but would like a good boy to come home to. Beautiful Benny is such a sweet boy. This lovebug adores making biscuits! He loves petting and attention and couldn't be happier now that he's with a caring foster. Benny was rescued from a home where his human passed and he is very ready for a forever home with a human who will love him as much as he loves them. Benny is about 4 years old, healthy, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, FIV+ and FeLV-. Though he tested positive for FIV, he is asymptomatic and needs no meds or special treatment. 20. Daisy and Tommy
Daisy and Tommy are the most amazing, sweet, adorable kittens. They are so incredibly sweet. They would be perfect for a beginner kitty person or a family with children. Daisy and Tommy love their toys, racing through their tunnel, chasing wand toys, and generally keeping each other entertained. They are easily held, pet, loved and adore attention. They are a wonderful bonded pair who would make any house a home.
Daisy is the black-and-white sister. She is sweet and affectionate turns into a little purring lap cat when held and cuddled.

Tommy is the gray-and-white brother. He loves attention, makes biscuits like a pro, and is very enthusiastic about food. He even makes the funniest little gremlin noises while he eats.
These two were found at just 4 to 5 weeks old, abandoned together in a sealed plastic container near a busy street in Queens. They were cold, wet, dirty, and very underweight. Some caring neighbors got them to the vet and helped nurse them through those first few days.
These days they are just two very playful healthy kittens who are ready to have fun and be spoiled.
Daisy and Tommy are FIV/FELV negative, spayed and neutered and microchipped. They are happy, healthy, playful kittens who are ready for a home where they can continue to grow, play, and get all the love and attention they deserve.

Domino is a charmer, with his lovable personality and long happy meows, he wants nothing more than a home to call his own. Rescued from the streets of Mill Basin Bklyn, who knows how long he’s been living outside fending for himself. Right now he is safe in a cage in his rescuer’s home but he really needs a foster home or better yet an adoptive home. He loves to be pet and will roll over to show you his belly. He loves to be pet all over his body. Domino is neutered, tested negative for felv/fiv and up to date on his vaccines.

22. Sunrise
Sunrise is a sweet, handsome gentleman with mesmerizing eyes you'll get lost in. Don't let his sad face fool you - he is so happy and grateful to be indoors after being rescued from a backyard along with 3 other cats. While initially he was shy, he has gained confidence with time and love and is truly being a playful, affectionate boy. He loves nothing more than chin scratches and wouldn't mind a play session in some catnip to roll around in. He is friendly and a wonderful companion! Meet Ginger! He is a rambunctious and playful cat with a positive aura and sweet soul. He loves to be picked up and cuddled and rocked like a baby and also will hunt with the focus of a tiger. He likes to be involved in whatever is going on and will follow you around the house with curiosity. He loves meeting new people and greats strangers with charm. He’s a little clumsy at times and often looks like he’s smiling when he’s done playing, a true orange goof.

Crisp Edges aka Crispy is a real find! She was part of a colony and, incredibly, was still just a baby herself when she had her first litter of kittens. She was living in a basement area with access to the outdoors, but once she came into foster care, she quickly showed us what a lovebug she is. She eagerly seeks out pets, climbs right into her foster’s lap, and loves nothing more than sleeping in bed with her person.

Crispy is also wonderfully low-key. She’s happy to have some independent time, is friendly with visitors, and is just as content to hang out nearby as she is to snuggle. For someone looking for a sweet, cuddly companion with an easygoing personality, Crispy is the perfect companion!
Crispy is spayed, vaccinated, flea- and parasite-free, and FeLV negative. She is FIV positive, which simply means she should live indoors and receive routine vet care. With proper care, FIV+ cats live long, happy, normal lives.

Meet Molly, a beautiful girl with fluffy fur and gorgeous yellow-green eyes, the kind of eyes that look especially lovely against all those autumn colors. Molly is a quiet, independent lady who enjoys having her own space, but don’t let her independent streak fool you. Once she decides you’re her person, she’s happy to accept pets and even a good belly scratch! Molly isn’t much for being carried or cuddled, and she prefers to keep her paws on the ground. She occasionally enjoys a little toy time, but mostly she’s perfectly content to do her own thing. She’s also a very well-mannered housemate who leaves the furniture alone, and prefers scratchers over the carpet.

With his adorable little face and sweet personality, Fudge is the kind of guy who could easily become your favorite part of the season, as comforting as a warm pumpkin spice latte. He's still playful despite being all grown up, but he also knows how to embrace the cozy life. After a little playtime, he's perfectly happy to settle in and enjoy some quiet time with his people. A warm lap is a must for him, especially on a crisp fall evening!He's had a dental and is missing quite a few teeth, but don't let that fool you, this boy still loves to eat! Think of him as the first in line at the Thanksgiving table.

And when it comes to playtime, Joan has a particular favorite: the ball sorter! Move one of those balls and she’ll happily bat it right back into place, or occasionally decide it deserves a full-on attack. Joan is currently working on getting to a healthier weight, so her forever family will need to help her balance her love of food with some encouragement to get moving.

Meet Phoenix, an elegant lady who's ready for her forever home!
This grande dame was named for her place of rescue: Phoenix Community Garden. She simply spends her days looking beautiful, sleeping on blankets, and begging for your affection. Phoenix is elegant, loyal, sweet, soft, and shiny. Her fosters say, "Once she warms up to you, she’s all heart. Truly the prettiest flower in the garden, and one sweet potato."
Phoenix was found by her fosters meowing at passersby. They could sense she was an abandoned pet and did the right thing: bringing her inside and getting her vetted!

His backstory: Nilla showed up scared at a feeding station. After a couple of sightings, his rescuer set out a box trap, and Nilla walked right in!
