1. Petey
Adult · Male · Domestic Short Hair / Mixed · 3 mi from New Brunswick

Meet Petey, a sweet guy with a very important fashion statement: his adorable fur pattern makes him look like he’s wearing socks! And those socks are always on the move! Petey has a moderate energy level and loves a good play session, especially after a meal. Wand toys, springs, and balls are all on his favorites list, and come evening, you may catch him zooming around like he’s late for an autumn adventure. When the day winds down, Petey is happy to trade his zoomies for cozy cuddles, especially at bedtime. He’s also wonderfully nosy and loves keeping an eye on the world outside. Petey may enjoy having another kitty around, too.

Young · Female · Domestic Short Hair / Mixed · 23 mi from New Brunswick

Dusk was apart of a local trapping project at a mechanic shop with her friend Goblin. Her trapper saw them day in and day out and knew that this friendly girl deserved a home to call her own. Dusk is gentle and kind, seeking pets and to be close to you. Dusk is still getting used to the indoors but has quickly taken a liking to the warmth of blankets, the newfound joy of toys and the kindness of human touch. Dusk is a young cat who is still healing from the wounds caused by fending for herself outdoors, but with lots of loving and patience, she is sure to become a wonderful companion, strictly indoors of course. 6. Terran
Adult (1 year 6 months) · Male · Domestic Short Hair (short coat) · 25 mi from New Brunswick

We think Terran is somewhere between one and two. This guy ended up getting caught during a trapping job we were doing. We asked the people in the neighberhod if he was anyone's cat, and no one claimed him, so we are going to get him a great home. He's a happy, talkative, affectionate guy who loves people. What more could you want ?

7. Gabby
Young · Female · Domestic Short Hair / Mixed · 23 mi from New Brunswick

After showing up at a Good Samaritan's house and begging to get inside, Gabby made her way over to us hoping to find her owners. The days came and went but nobody showed up to reclaim her. Now that she is off her stray hold, Gabby is looking for her return to indoor life. She lives up to her name by being a vocal kitty but overall is a friendly girl. We're still getting to know Gabby but what we do know is that she deserves to be loved and showered with affection. Adoption by appointment only with an approved adoption application. 8. Jaspurr
Adult (2 years) · Male · Domestic Short Hair (short coat) · 25 mi from New Brunswick

Japurr was quiet when he first came into our care now he is a purring machine. He's very small for a boy kitty. Jaspürr was found all alone, scared and hungry in a park in Trenton. The vet estimated him to be around 2 yrs old. Jaspürr has a playful and intense personality, once you gain his trust. It took a few weeks to do this, but now he really likes and looks for his humans/fosters. He is fast to explore his surroundings, jumping/climbing everywhere at his own pace. Jaspürr truly, carefully observes and learns about his humans with those bright eyes of his, you can almost see his brain trying to understand his humans’ actions. He has a soft meow, sounds almost like a baby. Jaspürr is very shy at first and it can take a few days for him to warm up (like most cats). Once he trusts you, he loves to lay by your side, rub his head on your hands and being brushed all over. He does not mind being held for a few minutes, best if wrapped on a blanket/towel. Jaspürr loves cat toys and scratching cat trees. So far, we don’t know how he relates to other cats because the resident cat in his foster home isn't interested in other kitties. Jaspürr likes sunning and looking out of windows for hours, happily watching birds/squirrels/clouds. Please consider giving this sweet boy a forever home

17. Clarendon FIV+
Adult (4 years) · Male · Domestic Short Hair (short coat) · 25 mi from New Brunswick

Our adorable boy Clarendon is around four years old. Look at this cute face? How can anyone resist this guy. He was found outside and we're not sure who his family was. He's a big, calm , quiet guy who does well with other cats and like people. He is FIV+ and we will say it over and over, FIV is nothing to worry about, it's an immune deficiency, that's it. Clarendon can live with other cats who don't have FIV (he is now), it's not transmissable by anything other than a deep bite wound (he's a lover) , with good normal care, he will live as long as any other cat and does not need extra vet care because he is FIV+. He's a doll and needs someone to love him forever. Could you be his person We hope so !!!!

We think West Darin is somewhere between one and two years old. All the sudden he showed up in a feral colony but this dude is super friendly. This is a sure sign that this guy was dumped by his owner and was looking for food. He obviously didn't have the best original owner but we promised him we'd get him a great FOREVER home. He is affectionate and talkative.....and he like other kitties. We hope someone adopts him soon !!!

26. Nigel
Adult (2 years 3 months) · Male · Domestic Short Hair (short coat) · 25 mi from New Brunswick

Meet Nigel: The Gray Gentleman with Plenty to Say
Nigel is a handsome, solid gray boy of about two years old, and he has never met a stranger he didn't like. He wandered into one of our traps during a TNR project in Trenton, hungry and clearly used to people. Someone had cared for him once, and then left him to fend for himself. Nigel doesn’t hold a grudge. He’s affectionate, social, and happy to be around his people.
He’s also a talker. Nigel will tell you about his day, his opinions on dinner, and exactly where he’d like to be petted. If you enjoy a cat who keeps up his end of the conversation, you two will get along.
Read more about Nigel
At two, Nigel is a young cat with a lot of energy and still learning his manners. He loves to play, and he plays enthusiastically, sometimes using his mouth. He’s never aggressive; he’s an excitable young cat who needs to learn what’s okay to chew on. He needs an adopter who will:
Offer lots of interactive play (wand toys, chasers, puzzle feeders) to burn off energy
Redirect mouthy moments to toys instead of hands or feet
Be patient and consistent while he learns
A home with another playful, confident cat could be a great fit, since a furry playmate would give him an outlet for all that energy. He’d thrive in an active household where someone is around to play with him every day.
If you’re looking for a loving, chatty, fun-loving companion and are ready to help a young cat grow into his best self, Nigel is waiting to meet you.

Arthur is a supersized tabby, who is playful, sweet and very handsome. He happily greets everyone who stops by to say hello. He is estimated to be 4 years old. Why adopt an adult cat in New Brunswick
An adult cat's personality is fully formed, so the rescue can tell you how they are with people, other pets and busy households. Many have lived in foster homes and are used to family life.
Grown cats are calmer and need less supervision than kittens, which suits people who work long hours or have young children.
