Kid-Friendly Cats for Adoption in Erie, PA: 30 Cats Good with Children

If you’re coming across my adoption profile you’re probably looking to enrich your life with “man’s best friend”. Yeah yeah I know, “loyalty”…“unconditional love” … the lore of the notorious D.O.G. But, you know what canine sympathizers never want to talk about? Potty training in the dead of winter. Sleepless nights while crate training. All of the blood, sweat and tears that goes into molding your “loyal best friend”. You want something real? Something authentic? Someone who is unapologetically themselves and won’t be influenced by a biscuit or a pat on the head? Get a cat. Better yet, get me.

Meet Geraldine!

This polite little lady is just so happy to be inside and loved. Gerry has two different sized pupils, and while we don’t know what caused this, the vet feels this was likely due to some damage to her eye and not anything neurological. It doesn’t bother her at all, and we think it just adds to how unique she really is!

Geraldine is good with other cats, dogs, and children.

Geraldine is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on parasite prevention.

Meet Iris! This sweet girl and her siblings were found at around 8 weeks old living in a garage with their feral mama. Little Iris has been getting braver in her foster home and is really starting to come out of her shell! She has recently started joining the other kittens when they come over for attention, meowing to make sure her little voice is heard. She can still startle easily, but once things are calm, she'll climb right up onto your lap and let you know she's ready for some love. Don't stop petting her, though, because she'll be sure to tell you all about it with her tiny, demanding voice! Iris is making such wonderful progress and will continue to blossom with a patient family who lets her settle in at her own pace.

Meet Kitten PowerPoint, 10–12 weeks young and prepared to give a very convincing presentation titled: “Why You Need a Kitten.” Slide one: Look at me. Presentation over.

He gets along great with other cats and is not bonded to his siblings—but he’d happily share his new home with another kitty. And unlike an actual PowerPoint presentation, you’ll never want this one to end.

He gets along great with other cats and is not bonded to his siblings, so he can be adopted separately. Of course, adopting him with a sibling would give him someone else to bother instead of you. Just something to consider.
Adobe’s adoption fee is $145.00

Meet Kitten Excel, 10–12 weeks young and already an expert in spreadsheets… mostly because he likes to spread EVERYTHING across the floor.
Excel is a busy, curious little guy who believes every toy must be investigated, every sibling must be wrestled and every room deserves at least one high-speed zoom-through. He’s energetic, playful and sweet, with plenty of kitten mischief packed into one tiny body.
He gets along great with other cats and is not bonded to his siblings, but he certainly wouldn’t complain about having a kitty partner in crime. Two kittens = twice the fun. Three = you may need an actual spreadsheet.
Excel’s adoption fee is $145.00
