My grooming requirements aren’t too heavy. This is because my fur is soft, so gentle brushing a few times a week should suffice to keep my coat knot and mat free. And, I love my treats – when I hear you shake the bag, I’ll come running, will eat them all, and will then ask for more – and that’s how you can earn my trust!! I am neutered, up-to-date with vaccines, FIV/FeLV negative, dewormed, have received flea preventative, and am microchipped. My adoption fee is $350.00.

Phoenix, is a petite, fluffy gray tabby with a heart as sweet as her soft fur! This lovely 7–9-year-old girl is a laid-back, timid soul who takes her time warming up to new people, but once she chooses you, it’s something special. Phoenix enjoys spending much of her day snoozing in a cozy hiding spot and comes out to play when the house gets quiet at night. She’s happy to entertain herself with anything small enough to catch her paws, but one of her favorite things is curling up on the bed and keeping your feet warm with her cuddles. Phoenix prefers affection on her own terms, so you may need to seek her out for some love until she feels comfortable enough to come asking for pets herself. She currently lives with another cat, two small dogs, and a toddler, whom she mostly ignores. Because she’s sensitive to loud noises and enjoys a peaceful environment, Phoenix would likely thrive in a quieter home where she can relax, settle in at her own pace, and blossom into the affectionate companion she’s meant to be. If you have a little patience and a lot of love to give, Phoenix may just decide you’re her person!

• OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS: I don’t currently live with another kitty, but I may enjoy another kitty in my new home. I also prefer drinking my water from glass because a girl knows what she likes! / I can't think of any dislikes since I am a kitten, but I would not like it if I didn't get the love and attention all kitties deserve!

Meet Mittens, a beautiful 5-year-old Domestic Long Hair with extra toes!!! She is a gorgeous white, dark brown, and black coat and an especially sweet personality! Mittens is a calm, medium-energy girl who enjoys being playful but is happiest spending time with her people and soaking up affection. She loves following her favorite humans out to the garden and hanging out nearby before happily making her way back home. Mittens is very friendly with people, even those she doesn’t know, and has shown herself to be a smart, easygoing, and easy-to-care-for companion. She would likely do best as the only cat in her home, as she can be uncomfortable around other cats. Mittens has an adventurous side and enjoys spending time outdoors, so her ideal home would be a safe, quiet property away from busy roads where she can have supervised or secure indoor/outdoor access. A screened-in porch or another safe outdoor space would also be wonderful for her. She adapted to home life immediately, used the litter box perfectly, rediscovered the joy of toys, and settled right into the comforts of soft beds, regular meals, and human attention. She has an impressive purr motor and seems endlessly happy to finally be safe. And yes, that adorable little bobtail is completely natural.

What truly makes Ms. Bagel special is how incredibly people-oriented she is. She absolutely adores attention and has never met a stranger. Every new person is greeted like an old friend, and she wastes no time trotting over to ask for pets, affection, and admiration. She thrives on human companionship and simply wants to be wherever the love is.

She's very food motivated, but she's wonderfully polite and has never tried to raid food or counters. She gets along well with other cats, especially her kittens, and she'd be happy to be adopted with one of them if you're looking for a pair. Miso is FeLV positive, but FeLV does not define him. It cannot spread to humans or dogs. Miso can be an only cat or live with another FeLV+ kitty. He loves people, is interested in other cats, and is also very fond of respectful dogs.

His other great love? Churu. Miso will happily pose for pictures as long as the treats keep coming.

We can't promise how many years Miso will have. Nobody can. But we can promise that the life he has is worth living and worth loving.
