I'm a six month old medium haired boy who started out trapped behind a wall for three days in a campground laundry room! I was rescued by a guy who was seeing the world in his RV. We had many adventures until medical problems forced him to give me up. I'm a cuddly boy who loves playing with feather toys. I'm now charming everyone at North Cascade Vet Hospital where I plan to rule the lobby - stop by and see me, I bet you won't be able to leave without me!

I really am just a baby since I am only about 6 months old! I was living outside for some reason and a nice lady was feeding me. She was worried that I might get PG with all those boys hanging around and asked SCC to make sure that will not happen. I am very sweet and loving and have a very quiet meow; so quiet you almost do not hear it unless you are looking at me and see my mouth move. I do have a great purr motor though! I will most likely need to be an only cat since I can be a little dominating with other cats. Older kids that know how to be nice to kitties, would probably be okay and I did not react to the foster's dog when I was in my carrier and he was near.

I was found near an apartment complex but no one seemed to know who my owner might be or where I actually came from. The lady who found me didn't realize that I had kittens hidden in the area. That was discovered after my foster mom took me to the vet and it was determined I wasn't pregnant but did have nipples filling up with milk! About the same time, another lady found 5 kittens hidden in a blackberry thicket and it was determined that they were mine. Sadly, one baby didn't make it because there were too many fleas and even a bath in Dawn didn't help enough. The other 4 kittens got multiple baths and were reunited with me so we became a family again.

Let me explain why I won't exactly look like my picture when you meet me. When I was inside all the time, I had a beautiful fluffy black coat with those brownish-gray highlights in the sun. However, after my brother, Tyler, and I moved to a different state and couldn't stay with our owners due to apartment rules, we went to stay with our human grandparents. Problems started because the two resident cats didn't like having to share things, so we started going outdoors to keep from having fights. Not an ideal situation to a cat that was used to being pampered and indoors all the time. I ended up with some mats and my highlights went away when my hair wasn't as fluffy.

Button is about five months old and very loving and affectionate. She is living with a foster and cats, kittens and a big friendly dog and Button loves them all. She is spayed, microchipped and dewormed. She is current on vaccines and tested negative for FIV and FELV.

Pepper is a beautiful girl who is very loving and affectionate. She loves to rub cheeks and sit in a warm lap. Pepper has been living with a foster in a home with cats, kittens and a big friendly dog and Pepper loves everyone. She is spayed, microchipped and dewormed. She is current on vaccines and tested negative for FIV and FELV.

Maxine is a gentle, sweet girl looking for her forever home. Maxine spent her entire life outdoors, but thanks to a kind woman who made sure she always had food and shelter, she was cared for. She had several litters of kittens, and now that she has been spayed, her days of motherhood are behind her. She is ready to enjoy the safe, comfortable indoor life she deserves. Since coming into foster care, Maxine has really started to blossom. She loves being petted and is learning that being picked up can be okay, although she hasn’t had much experience with it yet. She has already come a long way with human attention and is becoming more comfortable and trusting every day.

Transitions can be bumpy sometimes, so while I might be timid at first, your patience will be rewarded with lots of love! I love to be petted but I will tell you, I have been known to give warning bites, not hard, but would be better with older kids that understand cat signs. We are four year old sisters who are one half Kurilian Bobtail. That was our dad, and mom was a calico house-cat. Our foster mom had never even heard of that breed until today! She googled it. I’m Jet (Black) and I’m the one who loves to be held and packed around while Buttercup (Calico) takes more time to decide if she should trust you. She calls it being discerning. We are both litter box trained and easy to have around. We have bob tails and beautiful markings. We’ve always been together but might consider going solo for the right home.
