Hi, we are Cici (calico) & Fuzzy (Black)! A couple of sweet girls ready for our forever homes! We were abandoned when we were only six or seven weeks old to fend for ourselves. Luckily one of 7WHSKRS volunteers found us and has been taking care of us ever since. We were so afraid and so scared and so lonely… But we are super sweet and super happy little girls now! We love to play and snuggle up to our foster mommy! We are getting a little bit bigger every day so hurry up and get us while we are still little! We will love you forever. We would love to be adopted together, but it is not required as long as you have another furry friend for us to bond with!

Meet Jack—your new cuddle buddy!
Jack is a sweet, loving six-month-old kitten whose favorite place to sleep is curled up beside you. Playful and friendly, he gets along beautifully with dogs, other cats, and even rabbits!
Born on Easter Sunday in a neighbor’s front yard, Jack had a difficult beginning. After his mother tragically died from suspected secondary rat poisoning, we searched for three days before finding Jack and his two siblings. He weighed just seven ounces when rescued. With plenty of love and care, he has grown into a healthy five-pound sweetheart, and both of his siblings have found their forever homes.

Sabrina is exactly like a homemade cookie or favorite blanket - warm, soft and comforting. Curious and intelligent, cozy and quiet, she learns routines quickly and loves to observe everything you do. Sabrina would love to be your only pet or share the space with a calm, respectful cat after a slow and intentional introduction (she is friendly with other cats and tends to avoid conflict, but I always recommend Jackson Galaxy's method for proper introductions). Sabrina is shy but sweet and is the kind of cat who will come running to greet you at the door and jump on the couch to binge watch with you for a good cuddle and peaceful vibes.

How to adopt from Kindness For Cats Inc
Most of the animals in our care are foster animals from Orange County Animal Services (OCAS), in other words the property of OCAS. Anyone wanting to adopt one of these animals completes an application form and must submit the form in person at OCAS directly. The adoption for these animals is $40, one of the requirements is verification of pet policy if the potential adoptor rents. The adoption process for animals owned by KFCI is similar but adoption fees vary depending on each individual animal; however we try to keep the fee as close to $40 as possible even if our expenses were significantly more.

Adopting a cat in Bay Lake
Most rescues ask you to fill in an application, meet the cat, and pay an adoption fee that usually covers spaying or neutering, vaccinations and a microchip. Many are foster-based, so you'll often meet your cat in a volunteer's home rather than a shelter.
Senior cats are often the calmest companions and the slowest to find homes. If you'd like a settled, affectionate cat, ask the rescues about their older residents.
Kittens go quickly, especially in spring and summer. If you've fallen for one, contact the rescue soon, and think about adopting two: young cats keep each other company and out of mischief.
