Kid-Friendly Cats for Adoption in Davie, FL: 30 Cats Good with Children

You can apply for Lucille at www.ladyluckanimalrescue.org under the “Adopt/Foster” Tab.
Lucille is a ginger tabby female kitten born approximately May 21, 2026. She and her two siblings came to us from Miami-Dade Animal Services. The trio were very sick with upper respiratory infections as well as eye infections. After much TLC, she is ready for adoption! Lucille is the absolute perfect blend of sweet and playful! She immediately starts up her purr machine as soon as you begin petting her, soaking up every bit of affection you have to give. Whether she’s chasing toys with enthusiastic energy or curling up nearby for cuddle time, her happy personality lights up the whole room.

You can apply for Desi at www.ladyluckanimalrescue.org under the “Adopt/Foster” Tab.
Desi is an all-black male domestic shorthair kitten born approximately May 21, 2026. He and his two siblings came to us from Miami-Dade Animal Services. The trio were very sick with upper respiratory infections as well as eye infections. Desi also has a slight fog in his eyes due to scaring, but it doesn't slow him down for a single second; his confidence, playful spirit and absolute devotion to cuddles shine through in everything he does. After much TLC and seeing the eye doctor, Desi is ready for his furever home! This kitten is the ultimate purr machine and loving center of attention! As the dominant yet deeply affectionate boy of the litter, Desi makes sure he’s always right in the middle of everything—whether he's energetically tumbling around with his sisters, Ethel and Lucille, or ensuring you are petting him at all times possible.
Desi is neutered, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested negative, fecal tested negative, dewormed, and vaccinated (including rabies).

You can apply for Hudson at www.ladyluckanimalrescue.org under the “Adopt/Foster” Tab.
Hudson is the sweetest orange tabby boy, born around 5/28/2026. He and his siblings came to us from Miami-Dade Animal Services (they were confiscated from the previous owner) looking a bit rough! Thankfully, some TLC brought out how sweet and adorable he is! Hudson is the biggest cuddle bug of the bunch and absolutely LOVES people. He is incredibly friendly, playful and affectionate, and if there is a human available for cuddling, Hudson will be there! He has all the classic orange cat energy—you never quite know what kind of shenanigans he’ll get himself into, but you can always count on him being adorable.

You can apply for Essex at www.ladyluckanimalrescue.org under the “Adopt/Foster” Tab.
Essex is a beautiful dilute calico girl born around 5/28/2026, and she is the little diva of the litter! She and her siblings came to us from Miami-Dade Animal Services (they were confiscated from the previous owner) after arriving with upper respiratory infections. Once she got some TLC, it became clear that Essex was going to be a very special little lady. While her siblings are busy ripping and running around like wild animals, Essex is usually off to the side, calmly observing the chaos. She is playful and curious, but she has a much more genteel approach to kittenhood.

Risotto aka “Rizzo” aka “Rizz” is a black domestic shorthair male kitten born approximately May 10, 2026. Rizzo and his 2 siblings were found outside in pretty bad shape, after much needed TLC, they are now healthy and ready for adoption. If shadow cats haven’t caught your eye before this guy will. He’s a rowdy little critter...

Spaghetti aka “Sketti” is a brown tabby female kitten born approximately May 10, 2026. Sketti and her 2 siblings were found outside in pretty bad shape, after much needed TLC, they are now healthy and ready for adoption. Think of how a 2-year-old might ask for their favorite pasta…This is Sketti!! She’s always been the biggest at every weight in out of her trio. She’s made her mark on her foster family, because she was the biggest transformation! Coming straight off the street and into a strangers home, with little to no human interaction before this.

You can apply for Linguine at www.ladyluckanimalrescue.org under the “Adopt/Foster” Tab.
Linguine aka “Guine” is a brown tabby female kitten born approximately May 10, 2026. She was the first to brave the new humans in the new world after being rescued off the streets, and paved the way for her siblings to come out of their shells. She now sits back to enjoy the show, and has blossomed into her little independent self, and acts wise beyond her years.

Madison is an adorable calico girl born around 5/28/2026, and she is definitely the mischievous one of the litter! She and her siblings came to us from Miami-Dade Animal Services (they were confiscated from the previous owner) after arriving with upper respiratory infections and looking, well… pretty crusty and rough around the edges! But after some TLC, this sweet girl was ready to show us her true personality. Madison is playful, affectionate and just a little bit mischievous —in the most adorable way possible.

You can apply for Parmida at www.ladyluckanimalrescue.org under the “Adopt/Foster” Tab.
Meet Parmida A slender female tuxedo kitten, born approximately May 22, 2026. Parmida and her two siblings were part of a TNR project at a trailer park; however the owners did not want to give the kittens up. A week went by and they realized it was in their best interest to surrender the kittens to the rescue so they can find new homes. If you’re looking for Parmida, there’s a very good chance you’ll find her lounging in her favorite kitty hammock, taking in the view. Parmida is a super sweet girl, but she likes to make sure she trusts you first—and once she does, you’ll get to see the sweet girl right behind that initial cautious side.

You can apply for Dylan at www.ladyluckanimalrescue.org under the “Adopt/Foster” Tab.
Meet Dylan A handsome buff orange male kitten, born approx. April 30, 2026. Dylan was supposed to be a part of a TNR project, but the trapper quickly realized this boy was way too friendly to be put back outside! After a plea online, Lady Luck was able to step in and provide this sweetie with a life indoors moving forward! Dylan is a sweet, chill, laid-back guy who is perfectly happy relaxing and soaking up all the love you have to give. But don’t let his relaxed personality fool you—Dylan definitely has a playful side! He enjoys having fun and showing off his kitten energy before settling back down for some quality cuddle and attention time.

She’s a little firecracker with a big personality! Kenzie loves lounging around on her favorite scratchy beds, getting nice and comfy and enjoying some downtime.

Sweet little Roo is the definition of cuddly perfection. Soft, affectionate, and endlessly loving, she is a tiny bundle of joy looking for her forever lap. Roo was born with Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), also known as "Wobbly Kitten Syndrome." While she might have a little extra "pizzazz" in her step and a signature wobble when she walks, she is in no pain and has no idea she’s any different from other kittens!Roo enjoys high-energy playtime just as much as she loves quiet moments snuggled close to her favorite human. With bright eyes and a gentle personality, her purr starts the moment you pick her up. She is ready to bring a lifetime of comfort and "drunken sailor" charm to a home that will cherish her unique spirit.
