Fritter showed up at an established cat colony, presumably after being left there, and it’s hard to imagine someone leaving behind a girl this gentle and loving. Fritter is an absolute sweetheart. She is quiet, docile, affectionate, and wonderfully easygoing. She can be picked up and loves nothing more than being petted, especially those soft scratches behind her ears. Give her a cozy blanket to curl up on, and she is perfectly content to settle in and enjoy some well deserved comfort. Once she was safe, we learned that Kanga is FIV positive and has mild cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), which gives her a little wobble. But those things don’t define Kanga. They are simply a few things she carries with her. What truly defines her is the incredibly sweet girl underneath it all. Kanga can be a bit shy at first and simply needs a little time to become comfortable. But once she does, the transformation is beautiful.

This handsome young grey tabby is a sweet, gentle boy with a little independent streak and a serious appreciation for the finer things in kitten life - playtime, pets, cozy naps, and finding the best sunny spot in the house. Sadly, their mom recently passed away too, and now Abbott and Costello have found themselves at the rescue, trying to understand how their whole world changed so quickly.
