Cats for Adoption in Arden-Arcade, CA: 30 Cats Looking for a Home

Personality
Darrow is basically the purfect kitten:Friendly, outgoing, playful and affectionate, Darrow loves nothing more than playing with his sister Virginia, followed by some quality lap time with his favorite people.Darrow likes to be right where the action is. He loves following his foster family around the house to see what everyone is up to and is eager to be part of whatever you are doing--wheter invited to supervise or not. Sometimes he's so enthusiastic about being included that he ends up right underfoot. One of Darrow's most endearing qualities is his almost constant purring. In fact, if he is out of sight, his foster family simply follows the sound of his purr to find him.Darrow absolutely adores his twin sister Virginia, and the two have a wonderful time playing, exploring, keeping each other company and entertained. He would be happiest being adopted with Virginia, but would also do well in a home with another friendly, playful cat and, of course, plenty of welcoming laps to curl up on.If you're looking for a sweet, playful, outgoing kitten who wants to be part of everything you do, Darrow might be your perfect match!

Personality
There is not enough words in the world for this girls personality. Luna is a dog in cat's clothing. She wants to know what is going on at all times, and tends to be fearless. She finds car rides intriguing, she comes out to see what the vacuum is doing, and calmly grooms amidst a pack of screaming pre-teen boys. She needs humans or friend animals who wish to include her in all kinds of adventure and mischief. She will make a most entertaining companion. She also does have a soft side. She loves plush blankets and makes a four-paw biscuit while keeping the blanket trapped gently in her teeth, and is very pleased to cuddle. She will peruse through your business often to get a gentle pet and be off to see more interesting things.

Physical Description
Phoebe has white colored feet which makes her look like she is wearing UGG boots everyday :) Her white fur is also on her belly and goes up to her neck and all the way to the bottom of her mouth. She loves belly and chin scratches! She has a very soft coat of fur and is made of mostly greyish/brown with black stripes. It looks very cool!

Personality
Phoebe has a great personality and loves to play with dogs when she gets to know them. She grew up with another cat before we adopted her and was buddies with that cat as well. She is a little on the small side for a domestic short hair cat. She has "white boots" on all 4 paws with a white belly and chest, all the way up her neck and under her mouth. She loves belly rubs, sleeping under a blanket (sometimes at your feet) and she loves to snuggle in between your legs for warmth. She is a talker when she sees it is feeding time!!! You will hear her cute little squeak of a meow, and I have taught her to sit. She has now started to stand on her hind legs and paw at her food. Sometimes she will paw gently at your leg, telling you to put her food down :) Phoebe is in great health. Her diet consists of a combination of wet and dry food. We feed her twice a day. We give her one plastic spoonful of wet food and 1/3 cup of dry food.

Wombat is a playful, outgoing girl who loves nothing more than tumbling around with her siblings and getting into everything. With new people, she likes to take a moment to size you up first, but once she decides you’re her person, she’s all in. She’ll follow you from room to room, chirp for your attention, and settle in for long, purr-filled cuddles.Wombat is deeply bonded with her siblings and should be adopted alongside one of them, or into a home with another young kitten who can be her best friend.
Wombat will be available for adoption after she is spayed on 11/2.

Dingo is a little gentleman with a big heart. He’s always right in the middle of the action, wrestling and chasing with his siblings until he’s tuckered out. Then he goes looking for the nearest warm lap to curl up in and purr himself to sleep. He’s curious about everything and loves to supervise whatever you’re doing, whether you asked for his help or not.Dingo is deeply bonded with his siblings and should be adopted alongside one of them, or into a home with another young kitten who can be his partner in crime.
Dingo will be available for adoption after he is neutered on 11/2.

Personality
Pluto is the sweetest, clingiest, most affectionate velcro kitten. He prefers to sleep cuddled into the crook of your arm, will sit in the bathroom with you (very politely), likes to sit on your lap while you're eating, and generally would like to be a part of every moment of your day. Pluto loves chasing toys throughout the apartment, watching birds out the window, and has done very well playing and romping around with other cats in his foster home. He is incredibly good for handling and starts purring as soon as you pick him up (or look at him). He is such a perfect kitten and deserves the perfect forever home!

Personality
Mercury and Mars are the perfect snuggly, affectionate, and playful kittens! This bonded pair is as sweet as it comes – all they want is to crawl into your lap and purr very loudly in exchange for some chin scratches. Mars is a big personality packed into a tiny body. Mars will absolutely follow you around meowing until you give him attention. Despite being smaller, he also seems to win most of their wrestling matches. Mercury is an absolute lover boy who just wants to be held. He loves chasing toys and playing with Mars, but more than anything, he just wants to grow up into a lap cat and the ideal work-from-home buddy. These two kittens are eating well, have great litterbox manners, and are excited to meet their lifelong best friends!

Misty is sweet and fun-loving. She has plenty endearing kitten energy and loves to play with toys, chase feather wands, and explore her surroundings. She loves to snuggle up close, and she will quickly let you know how content she is with her lovely, comforting purr.
Two cats are better than one! Misty and her brother Buddy are best friends. They are proof that life is even sweeter with a feline companion by your side. Misty and Buddy's journey began with a semi-feral mama and a kind resident at an assisted living facility who befriended them. When their mama disappeared, the kittens stayed close to their human friend and continued to care for each other. If you have room in your heart and home for two, these two sweet souls will reward you with twice the love, twice the fun, and a lifetime of precious memories.

This handsome, charming, and incredibly soft young gentleman is ready to find his forever home. While he may only have one eye, he has double the love to give and doesn't let anything slow him down! With his stunning gray-and-white tuxedo coat and a heart of gold, he is the perfect blend of playful energy and sweet affection.

Personality
Thumb is the friendliest little guy! He is a little velcro kitty that loves to follow you around, he is excellent with other cats and would preferably go to a home where he can have a kitty companion! He’s a very active guy who loves chasing the wand toy. He also enjoys looking out the window and playing with his foster siblings! He’s got a big appetite and an even bigger personality. Beware, if you adopt thumb you’ll always have a little shadow following you around.

Personality
Wally is the perfect kitten — the kind who gives you everything. He spends his days racing around with his siblings, and the second he's worn himself out, he's in your lap, purring like crazy and ready to cuddle. He's also quite the talker, with an adorable little meow he's not shy about using. Wally is deeply attached to his siblings and should be adopted alongside one of them, or into a home with another young kitten who can be his best friend.

Personality
Tadej is a handsome, brown and black classic tabby. He is such a goofy, talkative boy who will keep you laughing with his antics. This boy loves his toys - his favorite caterpillar, balls, tunnels, Cat Dancer, a piece of string, feather, bottle cap. Tadej’s world is his toy! He is a confident kitten, bravely exploring the house. He is full of energy, chasing and wrestling with his foster sisters. Tadej also loves to snuggle, nuzzling your neck and letting loose with the loudest purr! He was raised in a home with cats and two gentle dogs. We feel Tadej should be adopted with another kitten or to a home with a resident cat. .

Personality
Chas is a veryyy sweet girl. She was hit by a car when she was a kitten and ended up on a euthanasia list. She was pulled by Friends of YCAS and enrolled in UCD Fracture Program. She was feral and not used to people. Her pelvis was broken and so were lots of her toe bones. She had some pretty intense orthopedic surgeries and is now living her best life. It took about 48 hours to fully domesticate her- She is the sweetest and extremely vocal! She will let you know when she is hungry, or wants to play. She enjoys carrying around her mouse and playing with plastic springs. She is a love and sleeps with us every night aswell as loafs on top of us whenever she sees fit. Because of her broken legs when she was a kitten she does have a slight limp on her right hind leg. She is gaining back strength after surgery- This does not stop her from launching herself into cat trees :)She loves my dogs and has done very well with my cats. She is definitely a more submissive girl- She does get a little spooked when you approach her quickly but if you offer your hand she will roll right on over. She literally had splints on both of her hind legs and still managed to NEVER have an accident outside of the litterbox. She is AMAZING and has been an absolute joy in our house.

Junebug is a zippy, curious little tritabby who has never met an activity she didn’t want to join. Whether it’s the crinkle of a bag, the swish of a toy wand, or simply the comings and goings of her household, Junebug is right there — watching, investigating, and looking for a way to get involved. She is an attention seeker in the very best sense of the word: this girl wants to be wherever the action is, and she wants you to notice her while she’s at it.
Under her light tabby coat, Junebug wears pretty orange patches scattered in several places, and her face is traced with lovely brown facial lines that give her an especially sweet, expressive look. She is a small bundle of high energy, always ready to pounce on a toy, chase a wand, or invent her own game out of whatever happens to be nearby. But she isn’t all zoomies — Junebug is also deeply affectionate and loves being petted, and she is happy to settle in for cuddle time once her curiosity has been satisfied, at least for the moment.
Junebug can be a bit shy at first, especially in new or overwhelming situations, so she will do best with people willing to give her a little time to warm up. Once she feels safe, her playful, people-loving personality shines right through. She gets along well with cat-friendly dogs and school-aged kids, and because she is still a kitten herself, she would love a home with another kitten or young cat to play with — a partner in crime who can keep up with her energy and appreciate her philosophy that everything is more fun as a game. She may not be the best match for older, less active cats, who likely won’t share her enthusiasm for pouncing from behind the furniture.
Junebug would do well in almost any type of home, as long as she also has a quiet spot of her own to retreat to for naps when she is ready to recharge. Ideally, her new family will have had one or two cats before, so they know what to expect from a cat who wants to be part of everything — and who repays that involvement with plenty of play and purrs.
If you’re looking for a spirited, sweet little girl who will keep things interesting, keep you company, and quietly steal your heart with her curious antics, Junebug is ready to find her forever home!

Yahtzee is the perfect blend of playful and calm. She is more than happy to race around with her siblings & check out new toys and new people, but is also content to be scooped up by her humans for some chin scratches or a nap session. Yahtzee has grown up around her siblings, Bingo and Scrabble, 3 adult resident cats and a resident border collie. She would be happy in any environment with lots of playtime and affection. Yahtzee must be adopted with another kitten or to a home with resident cats due to her young age and need for ongoing socialization.Yahtzee and her siblings are awaiting their spay/neuter surgeries on September 14th but are available for visits and pre adoption.

Personality
Bingo is a sweet and sensitive guy. Bingo loves to be held and have his chin or belly scratched and is perfectly content to watch the world from the safety of a cozy lap. He loves to play and explore new toys and places but is also happy to sunbathe and observe his sisters' antics. Bingo has grown up around his two sisters, Yahtzee and Scrabble, 3 resident adult cats and a resident border collie. He would do fine in any environment with a slow introduction and lots of love, but must be adopted with another young kitten or to homes with other cats as he tends to feel most comfortable with other animals around.Bingo and his sisters are awaiting their spay/neuter surgeries on September 14th but are available for visits and pre adoption.

Physical Description
Cece (cease fire, Cecil) is the softest cat you will meet in a long time. Her lovely medium length hair is like that of an Angora rabbit, silky and fine. She has white paws as if dipped in milk, and a charming white chest and belly peaking out at front that gently curves up her chin into a thin line. Her lovely white whiskers frame a dark face with bright yellow eyes. One of her eyes is very slightly cloudy; damage from a cold virus when she was a kitten, but she clearly has no idea, and never lets it stop her.

Personality
Cece has the soul of a delicate gentle heart. She entered our house quietly, gave all our cats space, and became a quiet puzzle piece that fitted in like it belonged. She loves to snuggle on beds and couches, and can be found purring loudly by your ear in a gentle ball long after you've gone to sleep for the night. She is content to give our older animals all the space they need; never bothering them, but thrilled to have a fellow kitten and younger cat on hand to pounce and be silly with. For some odd reason, she thinks rocks make a humorous toy; and likely has quite a few more odd traits hiding behind her cute furry face! She is still nervous of being approached on the ground; slow steps and gentleness are very helpful. But she is not hard to coerce into reach, and once you have her she is pleased to be petted, cuddled, and played with. She is a wonderful companion who would make a sweet addition to almost any household.

That's just Chubby—easygoing, content, and happiest wherever his people are.
While he appreciates a calm, respectful approach and may let you know when he's ready for a break from petting, he's an incredibly affectionate and rewarding companion who forms wonderful bonds with the people he loves.
If you're looking for a laid-back best friend with a heart of gold and the cutest cheeks around, Chubby Checker is ready to make himself at home in your heart.
Chubby Checker is approximately 2 years old.

Personality
Mr. Boy is very playful, and very tolerant. You can pick him up, hold him, and move him easily. He would be really tolerant of a young child or other pets (I don't know yet about dogs.) He is not much of a cuddler (yet) but that may change if he finds his person. He does get restless at night as he is still an energetic young kitty. He's very smart and observant, and very talkative. I think he would love a young kitty playmate, he used to have a kitty friend outside he played with.

Personality
Rudy came into foster care with his sister Cupid at around 2.5 weeks old. He grew up in foster care where he was bottle fed by his foster mama. Rudy is a very easy going guy who goes with the flow. He spends his days playing with the other foster kittens playing and takes long naps during his downtime. He enjoys human attention and comes up for some cuddles or back scratches. He enjoys the company of his foster mama and his kitten friends!

Promise is a bold soul who is the boy detective of the group. His curiosity takes him adventure through every new space. He is the most precocious in his physical development and can do amazing leaping acrobatics after toys. He loves a wand toy! He is like a Labrador retriever of kittens and will follow you around to be a part of whatever you are doing, while purring away as he is so happy to be in your company. He seems to always be purring! We’ve been working on getting used to a harness and he seems like a good a candidate to go on leash walks one day! Beautiful coat, like an ocelot! You will be the envy of the neighborhood with this kitty in your window!
