1. Dallas and Vegas

Adult · Male · Tabby (short coat) · 16 mi from Beaumont

Meet Dallas & Vegas! Double the love, double the purrs!
Some bonds are simply unbreakable, and Dallas and Vegas are the perfect example! These handsome 9 year old brothers have spent their entire lives together, and they wouldn’t want it any other way. Now, they’re looking for a loving forever home where they can enjoy their golden years side by side, surrounded by comfort, affection, and plenty of love. Now they might be 9 years old but they do not act like older cats. They still have so much life left and love to run around playing with toys and chasing each other through the house as if they were spry adolescents.
Dallas (brown tabby) is a sweet, affectionate boy who just needs a little time to feel comfortable with new people.

Read more about Dallas and Vegas

He may be a bit reserved at first, but give him about 24 hours to settle in, and you’ll soon have a purring lap cat who is happy to soak up your attention! Dallas takes comfort in his brother Vegas and looks to him for confidence when meeting new people. These two are so connected that Dallas will even call out for his brother if he can’t find him. His loving personality is absolutely worth the little bit of patience it takes to win his heart.
Vegas (grey/white) is the outgoing charmer of the duo! This total lovebug adores human attention and isn’t shy about asking for it. He’ll happily headbutt your hand or leg to remind you that it’s time for pets, and head and chin scratches are definitely the way to his heart. Vegas is also a big fan of mealtime and enjoys his food a little too much! He’s carrying a little extra weight and could benefit from losing a pound or two to help keep him healthy. With some portion control and a balanced diet, he’ll be on the right track!
Dallas and Vegas have lived with other cats and dogs and tend to be pretty indifferent to their furry housemates. With slow, thoughtful introductions, they may be able to share their home with other pets. Their most important relationship, however, is with each other. They are a truly bonded pair and must be adopted together.
At 9 years old, these boys have so much love left to give. They’re past the kitten chaos and ready to settle into a peaceful home where they can enjoy cozy naps, full bellies, gentle affection, and the comfort of always having their favorite companion nearby.
Could you be the forever home Dallas & Vegas have been waiting for? If you have room in your heart for two sweet adorable gentlemen, these brothers would love to meet you!

It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.

Read more about Isaac

The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue Mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old.

ISAAC and his siblings (ALLUCARD - ATREUS - CARMILLA) were turned into the shelter. We have no real idea what their life was before coming to the rescue.

So ISAAC and CARMILLA were adopted together back in 2021 as small kittens. To their dismay, they were returned to us in 2026. It was no fault of their own. The woman decided she was moving back home and couldn't take her cats.

Meet ISAAC, a handsome, extra-large tabby boy with beautiful white markings and a heart just as big as his cuddly frame. ISAAC is a sweet, loving gentleman who adores affection and is ready to find a loving home where he can settle in, feel cherished, and share all the warmth he has to offer.

ISAAC’s story began when he and his sister, CARMILLA, were saved from a high-kill shelter as kittens. At just three months old, ISAAC found a family to call his own. After four and a half years, he and CARMILLA returned to seek a new chapter, and now this wonderful boy is ready to meet the people who will welcome him into their lives and appreciate what a special companion he is.

If you love big cats with even bigger hearts, ISAAC might just steal yours. He is an exceptionally sweet and affectionate boy who enjoys cuddles and being close to his people. There is something extra comforting about having a big, soft feline friend nearby, ready to keep you company after a long day. Isaac has that wonderful, loving presence that makes a home feel a little warmer and everyday moments a little sweeter.

ISAAC would be happy as the only cat in the family, where he can enjoy plenty of attention and companionship. He may also be compatible with a very friendly, easygoing feline companion who is comfortable sharing space and making new friends. His future family should focus on a thoughtful introduction and a comfortable environment where everyone can settle in at their own pace.

This big tabby boy has so much love to give. He is looking for a family who sees beyond his size and recognizes the gentle, cuddly sweetheart underneath. Whether you imagine quiet evenings together, affectionate moments on the couch, or simply having a loving feline friend nearby, ISAAC is ready to bring companionship and comfort to his next chapter.

To learn more about adopting ISAAC, please apply at Workinwhiskers.com. Could this extra-large bundle of tabby sweetness be the loving companion you have been hoping to welcome into your life?

ISAAC is a DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / TABBY. She is 5 years and 6 months old and is good with cats. In his last home he was never around children but did live with a small dog.

Fortunately, ELIZABETH has her own unmistakable charm, especially when she is leaning into a gentle pet or happily enjoying a cuddle.

Another wonderful quality about ELIZABETH is that she loves dogs. Her comfort around canine companions could make her a lovely addition to a family with a friendly, cat-compatible dog, provided introductions are thoughtful and gradual.

7. Daisy & Minnie

Female · Russian Blue / Bombay (short coat) · 16 mi from Beaumont

Every Home needs two special kitties ... Meet Daisy and Minnie!
Some kitties are beautiful on their own.
But every once in a while, you find two that were simply meant to stay side by side.
Daisy and Minnie are 6 month old bonded girls whose personalities complement each other perfectly. They are sweet, gentle, playful, and incredibly loving, and after spending every day of their young lives together, they're looking for a forever family that will let them continue their adventure as a pair.
Think of them as the perfect buddy movie...
One is the outgoing tour guide.
The other is the charming best friend who eventually steals the show.
Together?
They're absolutely irresistible.
Daisy: The Social Butterfly
This beautiful Russian Blue mix believes laps were invented specifically for cats.
If you sit down...
Congratulations.
You've just volunteered.
She adores people and happily accepts head scratches, cuddles, and afternoon naps curled up beside her favorite humans.

Read more about Daisy & Minnie

She's wonderfully confident, affectionate, and has the kind of personality that makes visitors immediately ask, "Can I pet her?"
Her beautiful coat only adds to her charm. She's absolutely stunning—but she has no idea. She's far too busy making friends.
Minnie: The Bombay Beauty
She is a goofball who is always up to a new acrobatic feat.
Do you have a cat tree?
Minnie is at the top, lounging in the sun, usually with one leg dangling off.
Do you have toys?
She is bouncing around the house with them in her mouth.
Often dropping them at your feet to entice you into a game of fetch.
Better Together
These girls truly bring out the best in one another.
They wrestle.
They chase toys.
They curl up together for naps.
They groom one another.
And after a busy day of kitten adventures, you'll often find them sleeping nose-to-nose, looking like two peas in a pod.
Their bond is beautiful to witness and exactly why they're looking for a home together.
Designing Their Dream Home
If Daisy and Minnie could decorate their forever home, their wish list wouldn't be very long.
A tall cat tree where they can survey their kingdom.
A sunny window for bird watching.
A basket overflowing with toys.
A couple of ridiculously soft beds...
...although there's a very good chance they'll choose to sleep together anyway.
Most importantly, they'd love a family that understands some of life's greatest joys come in pairs.
Double the Cats... Double the Love
People sometimes worry that adopting two kittens means twice the work.
Daisy and Minnie would respectfully disagree.
They keep each other entertained.
They comfort each other.
They burn off their zoomies together.
And they ensure neither one is ever lonely.
Instead of one little heart filling your home...
You'll have two.
And somehow, they make each other even sweeter.
Imagine coming home after a long day to find these two sweet girls happily greeting you.
Imagine watching them race up their cat tree, chase one another through the house, then collapse together for a nap as though the Olympics just ended.
Imagine spending years watching their friendship grow while they become part of your family.
Some kitties are simply better together.
Daisy and Minnie are one of those rare pairs.
They have been spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, dewormed, flea treated, and microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350 for the pair.
If your home has room for twice the purrs, twice the laughter, and a lifetime of love, Daisy and Minnie are ready to capture your heart.

9. Miki

Adult · Female · Calico (short coat) · 16 mi from Beaumont

Sometimes life changes in ways our pets have no say in. Tom and Miki came to DPS after their owner had to move out of the country and was unable to take them along. They have been together since they were kittens, but they do not have to be adopted together. We are happy to place them separately in the right homes, or they can stay together if someone has room in their heart for two.
Tom is a 3 year old Turkish Van mix who is basically a professional people person. He loves his humans and wants to be right where you are, preferably supervising whatever it is you’re doing. Curious, affectionate, and happiest when he’s beside his person, Tom is the kind of cat who wants to be part of the action rather than watching it from across the room.
Miki is Tom’s 3-year-old calico sister, and her markings are absolutely one of a kind.

Read more about Miki

The transition to a new home has been harder on her, so she’s taking her time adjusting. She’s been coming around beautifully in her foster home and has discovered that lounging in her cat tree is a pretty good way to spend the day. She is gentle and sweet with her humans and loves playing with toys.
Miki also has a little hidden talent: she’s a mouser. Both cats are indoor cats, but when an unexpected mouse made its way into their former home, Miki apparently decided she had been hired for pest control. Problem solved.
Tom and Miki would make wonderful companions, together or separately, for the right home. Tom is likely to be your shadow, while Miki may take a little more time to feel completely comfortable—but once she does, you’ll have a sweet, playful girl who knows how to enjoy the good life.
Sometimes the hardest part of rescue is helping animals understand that a change in circumstances doesn’t mean they’ve lost their chance at a happy ending. We think Tom and Miki are both ready for theirs.
All kittens have all been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, dewormed, flea treated, and microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350 for the pair or $200 per kitten.

The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat if a kitten is too much energy for you! Rescue Mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old.

DR STEPHEN STRANGE and his sister AMERICA CHAVEZ were found at a Spay/Neuter clinic in El Monte, California. We arrived at our month hosted clinic and was told the kittens were left outside of their facility. Of course we found a foster and took them in.

Meet DR STEPHEN STRANGE, a young Russian Blue kitten from El Monte, California, whose gentle spirit is slowly emerging as he learns that people can be kind, patient, and trustworthy. DR STEPHEN STRANGE was found in an alley, and we do not know about his life before he was found, but we do know that this sweet boy is taking each new experience one small step at a time.

DR STEPHEN STRANGE is shy and timid, and right now, his favorite place may be somewhere safely tucked away while he watches the world around him. He is still learning to trust, so he needs a loving family who will give him plenty of patience, reassurance, and time to feel comfortable.

Although DR STEPHEN STRANGE is cautious, he has already shown some wonderful signs of progress. He allows himself to be picked up and does okay with gentle pets. These may seem like small things, but for a kitten who is still building confidence, they are meaningful steps forward. With a calm environment, a predictable routine, and lots of positive reinforcement, DR STEPHEN STRANGE can continue discovering that affection and companionship can be wonderful things.

And there is one particularly special source of comfort in DR STEPHEN STRANGE's life: his sister, AMERICA CHAVEZ. These two young Russian Blue kittens seem very content together, and having a familiar feline companion nearby can make the world feel a little less overwhelming for a shy kitten like DR STEPHEN STRANGE.

DR STEPHEN STRANGE also knows exactly how to show his appreciation for kindness: food and treats! His love of tasty rewards can be a wonderful way to build positive associations and help him become more comfortable with his caregivers.

This sweet boy does not need to rush. He needs someone willing to meet him where he is, celebrate his little victories, and patiently watch his confidence grow. Imagine the joy of seeing DR STEPHEN STRANGE go from hiding to seeking you out for affection because he has learned that he is safe.

To learn more about adopting DR STEPHEN STRANGE, please apply at Workinwhiskers.com.com. Could you be the patient, loving family who helps this gentle little boy discover his confidence and enjoy his next chapter?

Meet the Café Con Leche Kittens
Four tiny cups of trouble, sweetness, and caffeine-fueled kitten chaos
Some kittens are sweet.
Some are playful.
Some are cuddly.
And then there is the Café Con Leche crew, where apparently someone decided that the perfect recipe for four kittens was to combine equal parts sugar, mischief, personality, and absolutely no regard for personal space.
These four 4 month old siblings are currently in Southern California and are ready to bring a little café con leche magic into their forever homes. Imagine coming home after a long day, putting your feet up, and having one of these little characters race across the room, launch themselves onto the couch, demand attention, steal a toy, climb into your lap, or curl up beside you for a nap.
Basically, you're not adopting a kitten.
You're opening a very small, very furry café.
And there will be no closing time.
COOKIE BUTTER
Cookie Butter is proof that someone can, in fact, be shaped like a cookie.
This handsome boy absolutely lives up to his name.

Read more about Cafe Con Leche

His belly is round, soft, and looks remarkably like someone took a perfectly baked cookie and turned it into a kitten.
Cookie Butter loves playing with his three sisters, chasing toys, and generally participating in whatever kitten nonsense is happening around him. He does, however, have one important rule:
The toys are HIS.
You may have purchased them.
You may have paid for them.
You may have lovingly placed them in a basket.
But Cookie Butter has reviewed the situation and determined that ownership has been transferred.
He is also a professional napper and very much appreciates a good belly rub. So after he has finished his regularly scheduled kitten activities, he'll happily flop down and enjoy some quality relaxation.
Picture Cookie Butter in your home: racing through the living room with a toy, wrestling with his siblings, suddenly realizing he has exhausted himself, and then collapsing somewhere comfortable with his adorable round cookie belly on full display.
He's sweet, he's silly, he's cuddly, and he's basically a cookie with legs.
HONEY
Honey would like to speak to management.
Actually, Honey would like to speak to YOU.
The moment you make eye contact with this girl, she starts demanding pets.
Not subtly.
Not politely.
Not with a gentle little “excuse me.”
Demanding.
Because Honey has determined that eye contact is a legally binding agreement that you will now pet her.
And frankly, she's probably right.
Honey absolutely loves attention and has already decided that she will be Queen of the House. She loves being with her brother and sisters and can usually be found doing one of two things:
Play fighting or napping.
There is apparently no third option.
She also lives up to her name in the sweetest possible way. Once you pick her up, she just melts into your arms.
Imagine coming home after a long day and having Honey race over to greet you, demand that you acknowledge her royal presence, and then melt against you while you hold her.
Congratulations.
You have been chosen.
Honey isn't going to be your cat.
You're going to be Honey's human.

She launches.
She explores.
She apparently believes gravity is merely a suggestion.
And somehow, in between all of that, she manages to be an incredibly social little girl who gets comfortable in new environments fairly quickly.

Meet AMERICA CHAVEZ, a Russian Blue kitten whose delicate presence hides a sweet little heart waiting to bloom. AMERICA CHAVEZ is a very shy and cautious girl who can feel overwhelmed by new experiences, but underneath her timid nature is a gentle kitten who is beginning to show just how much affection she can offer when she feels safe and comfortable.

AMERICA CHAVEZ needs a loving family who understands that trust takes time. She may not be the kitten who immediately runs up to greet you, but she has already shown that she can accept gentle pets and even allows herself to be picked up. Those quiet moments are precious glimpses of the loving companion she can become with patience, kindness, and plenty of reassurance.

Once AMERICA CHAVEZ feels secure, she has a wonderful opportunity to build confidence at her own pace. A calm, caring environment with a predictable routine and lots of gentle encouragement will help her learn that she is safe and surrounded by people who care about her. Positive reinforcement, patience, and simply allowing her to choose when she is ready to interact will be important parts of her journey.

AMERICA CHAVEZ is also very comfortable around other cats, and she seems especially content when she is with her brother, DOCTOR STEPHEN STRANGE. Having a familiar feline companion appears to give her comfort and confidence, and watching these two together is a sweet reminder of how meaningful companionship can be for a shy kitten. They share a special connection, and AMERICA CHAVEZ clearly enjoys having her brother nearby.

For the family who is willing to give this tiny girl the time she needs, AMERICA CHAVEZ has the potential to become a wonderful companion. Imagine watching her gradually emerge from her shell, discovering favorite toys, seeking out affection, and eventually greeting you with the confidence of a kitten who knows she is safe and loved.

AMERICA CHAVEZ is ready for a patient, nurturing family who will celebrate every little step forward. To learn more about welcoming AMERICA CHAVEZ into your family, please apply at Workinwhiskers.com. Could you be the gentle person who helps this tiny girl discover just how wonderful the world can be?

Kitten · Female · Bombay / Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) · 16 mi from Beaumont

Tiny But Mighty
14 weeks old | Tiny by name, tiny by size, HUGE by personality
If you’re looking for a kitten who proves that big personalities do not require big bodies, allow us to introduce you to Tiny.
Tiny is 14 weeks old and, well… the name is extremely accurate. She is about half the size you’d expect for her age, but before you start worrying, her veterinarian has given her a clean bill of health. She’s healthy, happy and apparently just decided that being pocket-sized was the way to go.
And don't let her tiny little body fool you. Tiny is fearless.
This girl has confidence that some cats twice her size could only dream about.

Read more about Tiny

She loves people, loves other animals and thinks absolutely everything deserves to be investigated. Nothing seems to intimidate her. Not new surroundings. Not new people. Not other animals. And certainly not the 100-pound German Shepherd currently living in her foster home.
Most kittens would take one look at a dog that size and think, "Perhaps I'll stay over here."
Tiny's response?
"Oh! Hi! You're huge! Wanna be friends?"
She will walk right up to him without a hint of hesitation, completely unaware that she is approximately the size of one of his paws. She is endlessly curious, loves to explore and seems determined to personally inspect every corner of her world.
Tiny was rescued by one of our volunteers from a human homeless encampment, and watching her blossom into this confident, playful little kitten is pretty remarkable. Whatever her start in life looked like, Tiny has clearly decided that her future is going to be fun.
She would fit beautifully into just about any home dynamic. A family, a couple, a single person, a home with other cats or a home with a friendly dog. Tiny isn't looking for a particular lifestyle. She just wants people and animals to love, things to explore and a whole lot of life to experience.
She may be tiny enough to fit almost anywhere, but we're pretty sure she'll find a way to take up an enormous amount of space in your heart.
Tiny: approximately 50% kitten by size, 100% kitten by energy, and approximately 900% confidence.
All kittens have all been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, dewormed, flea treated, and microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350 for the pair or $200 per kitten.

17. Max

Kitten · Male · Tabby (short coat) · 16 mi from Beaumont

Adoption Fee: $200
Who abandons a kitten like THIS?
Seriously.
We have questions.
Because Max is the kind of kitten who thinks every human is his new best friend, every lap was specifically invented for him, and every room in your house deserves a thorough daily inspection.
At just 4 months old, Max was abandoned at a cat colony in the Bay Area. Thankfully, one of our incredible DPS cat fosters stepped in and welcomed him into his home. (This foster currently has two other DPS foster kitties and is basically the Cat Whisperer.) It didn't take long for Max to settle in and prove exactly who he is.
Spoiler alert...
He's awesome.
Max is one of those rare kittens who genuinely wants to be wherever his people are.

Read more about Max

If you're sitting down, congratulations... you've just been selected as today's lap. If you're walking around the house, he'll happily escort you from room to room, offering running commentary because this little guy has thoughts, and he feels it's only fair that you hear them.
He's the kind of kitten who greets you at the door like you've been gone for six months instead of six minutes.
"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? I HAVE IMPORTANT KITTEN BUSINESS TO DISCUSS."
Our foster describes Max as incredibly loving, affectionate, and social. He's curious about absolutely everything. Cabinet door opens? Inspection time. Grocery bag on the floor? Better investigate. Laundry basket? Obviously built for kittens.
Trying to make the bed?
Max is here to help.
Trying to fold laundry?
He'll make sure every sock receives a proper quality-control inspection.
Working on your laptop?
Perfect. He was hoping you had a warm place for him to nap.
Max also gets along beautifully with the other foster kitties. Whether it's a wrestling match, a game of chase, or a synchronized afternoon nap in a sunny window, he's always happy to join in. Because he's such a confident, friendly little guy, we think he'd do wonderfully in a home with other cats and would likely fit right in with respectful dogs and children, too.
The best part about Max isn't that he's playful.
It isn't that he's adorable.
It isn't even that he's hilariously nosy.
It's that he genuinely loves being with his humans.
He's not looking for a house where someone occasionally remembers to feed him.
He's looking for a family to do life with.
Morning coffee? He's there.
Movie night? He's already claimed a spot on your lap.
Making dinner? He's supervising from a safe distance... mostly to ensure you don't accidentally drop any chicken.
If you're searching for a kitten who will make your home feel happier, your couch feel cozier, and your daily routine a whole lot more entertaining, Max may have the most ordinary name in the world...
But there is absolutely nothing ordinary about this little guy.

Kitten · Male · Tabby (short coat) · 16 mi from Beaumont

Warning: Your House Will Never Be the Same
At just 5 months old, the Peninsula Litter has already mastered the art of being kittens. Some kittens spend their days quietly napping in a sunbeam. These are not those kittens.
The Peninsula Litter believes every shoelace is a snake that must be defeated. Every cardboard box is a luxury condo. Every paper bag is an amusement park. They can turn a crumpled receipt into a 30-minute sporting event, race through the house at warp speed for absolutely no reason, then collapse in a tiny pile as if they have just completed an Olympic marathon.
Five minutes later, they do it all again.
If you've ever laughed while a kitten proudly carried a toy twice their size through the house at 2:00 a.m., found yourself applauding an impossible leap from the couch to the cat tree, or wondered why there was suddenly a kitten hanging halfway out of a laundry basket, you already understand the magic of this age.
These four siblings—Mateo, Foster, Carlos, and Clara—are exactly what kittens should be: curious, fearless, playful, affectionate, and endlessly entertaining.
They've been raised in loving foster homes where they've been well socialized from the very beginning.

Read more about Peninsula

They've been exposed to dogs and other cats and would do wonderfully in a home with respectful children. They're confident little explorers who settle in quickly because people have always been part of their world.
Whether you live in a downtown apartment, a cozy condo, or a house with room to roam, these kittens aren't looking for square footage. They're looking for someone who will laugh when they steal a sock, smile when they chase invisible "monsters" across the living room, and happily make room for a warm little body curled up beside them at the end of the day.
Picture coming home from work and being greeted by tiny paws racing to the door. Imagine making your morning coffee while a curious kitten supervises from the nearest chair. Picture movie nights with a purring kitten asleep in your lap, or lazy Sunday mornings when the biggest decision is whether to chase a toy mouse or curl up in a sunny window for a nap. Before long, you'll wonder how your home ever felt complete without them.
Because kittens almost always do better with another playful feline companion, we'd especially love to see two of these siblings continue growing up together.
Mateo and Foster are the very best of friends. They currently live together, play together, wrestle together, and often end the day curled up side by side. We'd absolutely love to see them continue their adventures in the same home.
Carlos and Clara are another wonderful pair we'd love to see adopted together as they live together now. They complement each other beautifully and make a fantastic duo.
These pairings are not requirements, and we'll always choose the home that is the best fit for each kitten. However, if we have two equally qualified applicants and one family is interested in adopting one of these pairs together, that family will receive priority.
If you're looking for laughter, companionship, endless entertainment, and tiny best friends who will quickly become cherished members of your family, the Peninsula Litter is ready to fill your home with love, purrs, and just the right amount of kitten mischief. We can't wait for you to meet them. They have all been spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, dewormed, flea treated, and microchipped.

Their adoption fee is $350 for the pair or $200 per kitten.

22. Orion

Young · Male · Bombay / Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) · 16 mi from Beaumont

Reach for the Stars... Orion Is Waiting.
Some cats dream of climbing to the top of the cat tree.
Orion assumes that's where he belongs.
Named after one of the most recognizable constellations in the night sky, Orion is a 1 year old Bombay mix who seems determined to spend as much time as possible up where the stars live. If there's a bookshelf to conquer, a high windowsill to supervise from, or the very top perch of a cat tree available, you'll probably find Orion there—looking down at his kingdom like the handsome little king he is.
But don't let his lofty ambitions fool you.
This boy is equal parts athlete, comedian, and cuddle bug.
If you've never witnessed feline parkour, Orion would be delighted to provide a live demonstration.
One minute he's quietly watching a toy...
The next he's launching into the air, bouncing off furniture with Olympic-level precision, twisting, turning, and somehow landing perfectly every single time.
We're honestly considering submitting his audition for the next action movie.
His favorite prey?
Wand toys.
Springs.
The occasional bug that accidentally wandered into the house and immediately regretted its life choices.
Nothing escapes Orion's attention when he's in hunting mode.
Of course, every superhero needs downtime.
After a busy day of acrobatics, Orion transforms into an affectionate sweetheart who loves being with his people.

Read more about Orion

One of his favorite little quirks is burrowing under blankets, where he creates his own cozy hideaway before drifting off to sleep. If you ever can't find him, don't panic.
Check under the covers.
There's a very good chance you'll discover one happy little cat tucked in like a burrito.
Orion is wonderfully social and has the kind of easygoing personality that fits beautifully into many different homes.
He would also do well with another friendly cat, a cat-savvy dog, or respectful children. Orion approaches life with confidence, curiosity, and a genuine love for being part of the family.
If Orion could write his own wish list, it would be refreshingly simple:
A tall cat tree.
Very tall.
Maybe taller.
A basket full of wand toys and springs.
A few soft blankets for his famous burrowing sessions.
A sunny window where he can keep an eye on the birds.
And people who occasionally applaud his athletic performances.
(Trust us...they're impressive.)
Imagine laughing as Orion launches into another gravity-defying leap after a feather wand.
Imagine finding a mysterious lump under your comforter, only to discover it's your favorite little blanket-loving buddy.
Imagine looking up at the highest shelf in the room and realizing, once again, Orion somehow got there before you even noticed.
Some cats fill your lap.
Orion fills your home with adventure, laughter, and just a little bit of stardust.
Orion has been neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, dewormed, flea treated, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $150.
If you're looking for a cat who's equal parts acrobat, explorer, comedian, and cuddle companion, Orion is ready to become the brightest star in your home.

Young · Male · Tabby (short coat) · 16 mi from Beaumont

Meet Dustin!
Dustin is a 1 year old bundle of feline fun with a heart as big as his personality and enough energy to convince you that gravity is merely a suggestion. If you've ever wondered what it would be like to share your home with a tiny comedian, part-time gymnast, and full-time best friend, Dustin is ready to audition for the role.
Some cats gracefully stroll through life.
Dustin prefers to arrive with style.
If there is a toy to chase, he'll catch it.
If there's a cat tree, he'll conquer it.
If there's a feather wand involved...cancel your afternoon plans.
Dustin approaches every day like it's the grand opening of an amusement park, and he's determined to ride every ride twice.
His foster family is convinced he wakes up every morning asking himself, "What can I turn into a game today?"
The answer is...
Pretty much everything.
He's endlessly curious, wonderfully playful, and always looking for his next adventure.

Read more about Dustin

Interactive toys are his absolute favorite, and a tall cat tree would basically be his version of a luxury penthouse. From the top perch, he can keep watch over his kingdom, supervise the humans, and make sure no squirrel gets away with suspicious behavior outside the window.
When playtime finally winds down—and eventually it does—Dustin transforms into an affectionate sweetheart who loves spending time with his people. He enjoys attention, happily accepts pets, and reminds you that behind every goofy kitten is a loving companion who simply wants to be part of the family.
Dustin also has the kind of easygoing personality that makes him a wonderful addition to many homes. He could happily share his life with another playful cat or a cat-savvy dog who understands that every now and then, a spontaneous game of zoomies is simply non-negotiable.
At just one year old, Dustin has his entire life ahead of him. He's left the baby kitten stage behind but still has all the curiosity, fun, and enthusiasm that make young cats so entertaining. He's reached that wonderful age where he's playful enough to keep you laughing but mature enough to start settling into the incredible companion he'll become.
Imagine coming home after a long day and being greeted by a cat who's excited to see you.
Imagine laughing as he invents a brand-new game using nothing more than a paper bag, a toy mouse, and his own imagination.
Imagine spending your evenings with a happy little sidekick curled beside you after a full day of making memories.
Life with Dustin won't be boring.
It'll be filled with laughter, entertainment, and the kind of joyful moments that remind you why cats make our lives so much brighter.
Dustin has been neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, dewormed, flea treated, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $150.
If your home could use a little more laughter, a little more fun, and a whole lot more love, Dustin is ready to leap right into your heart.

Bringing a cat home to your dog

Tell the rescue about your dog: their size, age and energy. A cat who has lived with a calm dog may still be nervous around a bouncy puppy.

Introduce them slowly. Keep the cat in a room of their own for the first few days, swap bedding so they get used to each other's scent, and then let them meet with the dog on a leash.

Make sure the cat can always get somewhere the dog can't reach, and keep the litter box and food bowls out of the dog's way.
