Willow was born into a colony that was breeding out of control. The "owners" didn't realize how big of a problem not getting a few cats fixed could be or how fast they can multiply. A concerned neighbor approached them about TNR and helped them get the entire colony fixed and fostered the kittens. Willow is one of those lucky kittens who will know life off the streets!

21. Miki
Sometimes life changes in ways our pets have no say in. Tom and Miki came to DPS after their owner had to move out of the country and was unable to take them along. They have been together since they were kittens, but they do not have to be adopted together. We are happy to place them separately in the right homes, or they can stay together if someone has room in their heart for two.
Tom is a 3 year old Turkish Van mix who is basically a professional people person. He loves his humans and wants to be right where you are, preferably supervising whatever it is you’re doing. Curious, affectionate, and happiest when he’s beside his person, Tom is the kind of cat who wants to be part of the action rather than watching it from across the room.
Miki is Tom’s 3-year-old calico sister, and her markings are absolutely one of a kind.

The transition to a new home has been harder on her, so she’s taking her time adjusting. She’s been coming around beautifully in her foster home and has discovered that lounging in her cat tree is a pretty good way to spend the day. She is gentle and sweet with her humans and loves playing with toys.
Miki also has a little hidden talent: she’s a mouser. Both cats are indoor cats, but when an unexpected mouse made its way into their former home, Miki apparently decided she had been hired for pest control. Problem solved.
Tom and Miki would make wonderful companions, together or separately, for the right home. Tom is likely to be your shadow, while Miki may take a little more time to feel completely comfortable—but once she does, you’ll have a sweet, playful girl who knows how to enjoy the good life.
Sometimes the hardest part of rescue is helping animals understand that a change in circumstances doesn’t mean they’ve lost their chance at a happy ending. We think Tom and Miki are both ready for theirs.
All kittens have all been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, dewormed, flea treated, and microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350 for the pair or $200 per kitten.

29. Chastity
Meet Chastity...the sweetest flamepoint siamese little girl ever! This poor soul has been through a lot. She had a litter and was so emmaciated, she could not produce any milk to feed them and every one of them perished. She was part of a colony being TNR'd and we took her in after noticing she was social. White cats do not survive long on the streets with lack of camoflage to protect them and she was no street cat.

She was nervous at first and after 3 days, she came out of her shell. She is playful, talkative and loves attention. She gets along with other kitties who are even-tempered. She is not used to dogs. We think kids would be ok who are 5+.
She is still a kitten herself and she is very forgiving. We'd love to see her in a home who loves and spoils her rotten.

30. Gonzo and Enzo
Gonzo and Enzo are bonded Brothers who will make a perfect addition to any family! They are such fun kittens! Enzo as a funny curly tail almost like a pug! He is curious smart and loves to run to you and greet you in the morning. Gonzo is a sweetheart! He likes to be held like a baby and cuddled. They are both lap cats that will follow you around like you're the pied piper! These two sweeties or rescued when they were tiny and living under a car. They were abandoned by their mom and the rest of their litter sadly died. Right away they took to loving people. They are so affectionate and friendly. They are also so much fun to watch run around and play chase. They are always together and bonded so they must be adopted together because separating them would break their hearts. They are the perfect kittens that are going to make a family so happy!
