2. Lovely Lola

Young · Female · Turkish Van / British Shorthair / Mixed (short coat) · 36 mi from Oceanside

Meet Lovely Lola
Lovely Lola is a beautiful, dainty young girl, only about 10–12 months old, with the sweetest, most gentle personality. She has the most interesting markings…looks like 2 equal size triangles down her sides.
Lola’s story began on a rainy October night in Long Beach, where we found her living underneath a car. She was dirty, hungry and trying to survive on the streets. The moment we opened a can of food, she came running. She ate hungrily, then began rubbing against us as if she knew she had finally found someone who would help her.
Of course, there was no way we could leave her there.
We brought Lola home, gave her a nice warm bath and started giving her the full works — ear cleaning, nail trim, deworming, flea treatment, vaccines and microchipping — getting this little girl healthy, clean and ready for her spay.
And that’s when we discovered just how lovely Lola really is. ❤️
As soon as we brought her home from the vet, Lola began purring and rubbing against us. It almost seemed as though she was thanking us for helping her. After surviving outside in an area where life can be very hard for stray cats, she somehow remained incredibly trusting, affectionate and sweet.
Lola is an absolute love. Just watch her video and you’ll immediately see what we’re talking about. She is a precious, dainty, quiet little girl who will make some very lucky person or family a wonderful companion. She loves affection and will happily shower her person with purrs, rubs and love.
Lola seems comfortable around other cats and dogs. Because she has such a gentle, quieter personality, we think she would be happiest in a relatively calm home without young children, where she can relax, feel safe and blossom.
Interested in adopting Lovely Lola? Fill out an application by visiting LBSN.org, email adoptions@lbsn.org to request an adoption application Once we receive your completed application, our adoption team will review it. If we think you and Lola could be a good fit, we’ll contact you to arrange a time for you to meet this lovely little girl.
Adoption fee: $175, which helps offset a portion of Lola’s veterinary care, including her spay, vaccines, microchip, deworming and flea treatment.
Lola survived the streets. Now all she needs is the part of her story that matters most — a loving home of her very own. ❤️

MEET PEARLY GIRL
Pearly Girl is our newest rescue, and she is an absolute little sweetheart.
This beautiful, dainty white-and-tabby girl is about a year old, with gorgeous green eyes, the prettiest pink nose, and the most adorable little black beauty mark beside her nose. As if she needed anything else to make that little face irresistible!
Pearly Girl came to us when a homeless man who could no longer keep her was about to leave her on the streets. Somehow he found us, and there was simply no way we could turn this sweet girl away.
She is gentle, affectionate, playful, and incredibly loving. She’s a true little lap cat who loves cuddles, curling up beside you, and even burrowing under the covers in bed with you, purring away.

She has such a sweet, gentle nature and just wants someone of her own to love.
Her name has a special little story, too. Her beautiful white coat reminded us so much of my mom’s beloved cat Pearl, who recently passed away. We had already been affectionately calling this little one “Girly,” and somehow Pearly Girl just seemed to fit.
Now this darling girl needs the happy ending to her story—a loving forever home where she’ll never have to worry about being left behind again.
Could Pearly Girl be your girl?
To request an adoption application, please email adoptions@lbsn.org or text 562-588-4272. Once we receive your completed application, we’ll arrange a time for you to come meet her.

4. Dallas and Vegas

Adult · Male · Tabby (short coat) · 37 mi from Oceanside

Meet Dallas & Vegas! Double the love, double the purrs!
Some bonds are simply unbreakable, and Dallas and Vegas are the perfect example! These handsome 9 year old brothers have spent their entire lives together, and they wouldn’t want it any other way. Now, they’re looking for a loving forever home where they can enjoy their golden years side by side, surrounded by comfort, affection, and plenty of love. Now they might be 9 years old but they do not act like older cats. They still have so much life left and love to run around playing with toys and chasing each other through the house as if they were spry adolescents.
Dallas (brown tabby) is a sweet, affectionate boy who just needs a little time to feel comfortable with new people.

Read more about Dallas and Vegas

He may be a bit reserved at first, but give him about 24 hours to settle in, and you’ll soon have a purring lap cat who is happy to soak up your attention! Dallas takes comfort in his brother Vegas and looks to him for confidence when meeting new people. These two are so connected that Dallas will even call out for his brother if he can’t find him. His loving personality is absolutely worth the little bit of patience it takes to win his heart.
Vegas (grey/white) is the outgoing charmer of the duo! This total lovebug adores human attention and isn’t shy about asking for it. He’ll happily headbutt your hand or leg to remind you that it’s time for pets, and head and chin scratches are definitely the way to his heart. Vegas is also a big fan of mealtime and enjoys his food a little too much! He’s carrying a little extra weight and could benefit from losing a pound or two to help keep him healthy. With some portion control and a balanced diet, he’ll be on the right track!
Dallas and Vegas have lived with other cats and dogs and tend to be pretty indifferent to their furry housemates. With slow, thoughtful introductions, they may be able to share their home with other pets. Their most important relationship, however, is with each other. They are a truly bonded pair and must be adopted together.
At 9 years old, these boys have so much love left to give. They’re past the kitten chaos and ready to settle into a peaceful home where they can enjoy cozy naps, full bellies, gentle affection, and the comfort of always having their favorite companion nearby.
Could you be the forever home Dallas & Vegas have been waiting for? If you have room in your heart for two sweet adorable gentlemen, these brothers would love to meet you!

The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue Mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old.

WAYLON, his mom ESSIE and his siblings, ELI and ELIZABETH were kicked out of their home. So the neighbor (our foster now) picked them up and reached out to us. ISAAC and his siblings (ALLUCARD - ATREUS - CARMILLA) were turned into the shelter. We have no real idea what their life was before coming to the rescue.

So ISAAC and CARMILLA were adopted together back in 2021 as small kittens. To their dismay, they were returned to us in 2026. It was no fault of their own. The woman decided she was moving back home and couldn't take her cats.

Meet ISAAC, a handsome, extra-large tabby boy with beautiful white markings and a heart just as big as his cuddly frame. ISAAC is a sweet, loving gentleman who adores affection and is ready to find a loving home where he can settle in, feel cherished, and share all the warmth he has to offer.

ISAAC’s story began when he and his sister, CARMILLA, were saved from a high-kill shelter as kittens. At just three months old, ISAAC found a family to call his own. After four and a half years, he and CARMILLA returned to seek a new chapter, and now this wonderful boy is ready to meet the people who will welcome him into their lives and appreciate what a special companion he is.

If you love big cats with even bigger hearts, ISAAC might just steal yours. He is an exceptionally sweet and affectionate boy who enjoys cuddles and being close to his people. There is something extra comforting about having a big, soft feline friend nearby, ready to keep you company after a long day. Isaac has that wonderful, loving presence that makes a home feel a little warmer and everyday moments a little sweeter.

ISAAC would be happy as the only cat in the family, where he can enjoy plenty of attention and companionship. He may also be compatible with a very friendly, easygoing feline companion who is comfortable sharing space and making new friends. His future family should focus on a thoughtful introduction and a comfortable environment where everyone can settle in at their own pace.

This big tabby boy has so much love to give. He is looking for a family who sees beyond his size and recognizes the gentle, cuddly sweetheart underneath. Whether you imagine quiet evenings together, affectionate moments on the couch, or simply having a loving feline friend nearby, ISAAC is ready to bring companionship and comfort to his next chapter.

Fortunately, ELIZABETH has her own unmistakable charm, especially when she is leaning into a gentle pet or happily enjoying a cuddle.

Another wonderful quality about ELIZABETH is that she loves dogs. Her comfort around canine companions could make her a lovely addition to a family with a friendly, cat-compatible dog, provided introductions are thoughtful and gradual.

But every once in a while, you find two that were simply meant to stay side by side.
Daisy and Minnie are 6 month old bonded girls whose personalities complement each other perfectly. They are sweet, gentle, playful, and incredibly loving, and after spending every day of their young lives together, they're looking for a forever family that will let them continue their adventure as a pair.
Think of them as the perfect buddy movie...
One is the outgoing tour guide.
The other is the charming best friend who eventually steals the show.
Together?
They're absolutely irresistible.
Daisy: The Social Butterfly
This beautiful Russian Blue mix believes laps were invented specifically for cats.
If you sit down...
Congratulations.
You've just volunteered.
She adores people and happily accepts head scratches, cuddles, and afternoon naps curled up beside her favorite humans.

Read more about Daisy & Minnie

She's wonderfully confident, affectionate, and has the kind of personality that makes visitors immediately ask, "Can I pet her?"
Her beautiful coat only adds to her charm. She's absolutely stunning—but she has no idea. She's far too busy making friends.
Minnie: The Bombay Beauty
She is a goofball who is always up to a new acrobatic feat.
Do you have a cat tree?
Minnie is at the top, lounging in the sun, usually with one leg dangling off.
Do you have toys?
She is bouncing around the house with them in her mouth.
Often dropping them at your feet to entice you into a game of fetch.
Better Together
These girls truly bring out the best in one another.
They wrestle.
They chase toys.
They curl up together for naps.
They groom one another.
And after a busy day of kitten adventures, you'll often find them sleeping nose-to-nose, looking like two peas in a pod.
Their bond is beautiful to witness and exactly why they're looking for a home together.
Designing Their Dream Home
If Daisy and Minnie could decorate their forever home, their wish list wouldn't be very long.
A tall cat tree where they can survey their kingdom.
A sunny window for bird watching.
A basket overflowing with toys.
A couple of ridiculously soft beds...
...although there's a very good chance they'll choose to sleep together anyway.
Most importantly, they'd love a family that understands some of life's greatest joys come in pairs.
Double the Cats... Double the Love
People sometimes worry that adopting two kittens means twice the work.
Daisy and Minnie would respectfully disagree.
They keep each other entertained.
They comfort each other.
They burn off their zoomies together.
And they ensure neither one is ever lonely.
Instead of one little heart filling your home...
You'll have two.
And somehow, they make each other even sweeter.
Imagine coming home after a long day to find these two sweet girls happily greeting you.
Imagine watching them race up their cat tree, chase one another through the house, then collapse together for a nap as though the Olympics just ended.
Imagine spending years watching their friendship grow while they become part of your family.
Some kitties are simply better together.
Daisy and Minnie are one of those rare pairs.
They have been spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, dewormed, flea treated, and microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350 for the pair.
If your home has room for twice the purrs, twice the laughter, and a lifetime of love, Daisy and Minnie are ready to capture your heart.

28. Hazel.

Adult (1 year) · Female · Domestic Short Hair / Calico / Mixed (short coat) · 35 mi from Oceanside

Meet Hazel!09.15.26we have terrific news! Hazel is officially done with her FIP treatment and she is now up for adoption again! FIP survivor in da house!!! yay!! FIP untreated is deadly. Feline specific and NONE infectious to other cats. its a bit expensive treatment but it's an easy treatment, just lengthy. She was diagnosed and became clinical early June and started her meds MID June. She is now officially DONE with treatment and available for adoption... again! we are so excited for her and we hope she finally finds a wonderful loving home just as she is the most wonderful loving cat. Her foster mom has sent an update and recent pics and videos and this girl is a healthy strong beauty ready to be chosen!
Foster mom notes 9.14.2
Meet Hazel! She is a beautiful and spunky calico who absolutely LOVES her people and has even become quite the social kitty in her foster home, with little to no issues meeting and getting lots of pets from strangers! She definitely prefers to be the queen of her castle (aka a single pet) but will reward you with the best cuddles and lots of affection and purrs.

Read more about Hazel.

Despite her hilarious calico sass, she is incredibly low maintenance, absolutely loves to play fetch or soccer with her many toys, and truly just wants to be someone’s favorite thing. If you’re interested in meeting Hazel, please reach out!Notes: Hazel has no problem giving "kisses" sometimes she approaches your face with strong eye contact and if you are up to it she will definitely give you a gentle smooch on the lip or nose. Also, she has lived not only at her foster moms as a single pet but ALSO at casa de ARWOB off/on as a multi pet house with both many dogs and cats. She is fine with both. She is not Buddy with the dogs and will ignore them or avoid them and cats is personality dependen. Sometimes she will play with another cat but mostly ignores the other cats. Hence, if you are looking for a bud for your car or dog she's likely not the best match. She is mostly focused on people And great match for a home with a single or multiple humans seeking an awesome companion.
8/9/26 - Here is what Hazel's foster family has to say about her:"Hazel has quickly become one of my favorite fosters ever. Not only is she adorable (look at that beautiful coat!!) but she is so incredibly sweet and cuddly. She always wants to be in the same room as me and will follow me around and plop down at my feet or talk to me regardless of what I’m doing. Throughout the day when she wants some cuddles, she’ll walk right into my lap and nuzzle up, preferring to get as close to my face as possible (she’ll even give little affectionate licks and head butts!). Her random bouts of kitten energy will definitely come through every now and then, too, and she loves anything that moves (especially if she can stalk it through her tunnel). She’s got that trademarked calico sass and personality, which makes her so entertaining to have around, and she seems very happy as the only pet in the house. While she still has a bit of stranger danger with people, once she’s around someone for a few minutes, she quickly becomes comfortable. She definitely prefers her people, though, so I’m excited to see her find her family!! Hazel does take meds once a day, which will continue for the next couple months to ensure she’s a healthy kitty, but she’s become a champ in taking them so it’s not been an issue at all. Love this girl so much!!"2/19/26 - Here is what Hazel's foster family has to say about her:"Hazel is such a spunky yet cuddly kitty! Once she's given a minute to acclimate to her surroundings, she is very confident and has that classic kitten curiosity and playfulness. She absolutely loves anything that moves and will choose playtime over treats most days of the week. With each day that passes, she's also becoming more and more of a lap kitty and, when she's not running around finding things to do, she loves nothing more than to cuddle up on your lap while you work or watch tv. 29. Bowtie

Kitten (2 months 20 days) · Female · Tuxedo / Domestic Medium Hair / Mixed (medium coat) · 33 mi from Oceanside

Bowtie is a spirited, wobbly-but-never-slowed-down kitten who proves that a little cerebellar hypoplasia or CH won't dampen a big personality.
Bowtie's CH is considered moderate to severe, as she is not able to walk, stand, or sit up on her own, however her head and body tremors are generally mild and tend to appear when she's focused on an object or eating food. Even so, she can lift her head and push herself up using her front legs, and she gets around quite capably by using her front nails to pull and her back legs to push herself along—for her to maneuver independently, though, she needs carpeted floors or non-slip bath mats underfoot for traction. She can enjoy her meals from a bowl while lying down, or with proper supports around her if she chooses to try to sit—once she's positioned comfortably, she eats just fine. Given her small size, a standard litterbox looks like a monumental challenge to her right now, so for the time being she uses modified boxes and pee pads, and she should be able to adapt to commercially available low-entry boxes as she gets bigger.

Read more about Bowtie

And energy? This kitten runs on premium fuel. She doesn't just play—she conducts full-scale campaigns against her toys, wand-toy in one paw and her long-suffering snake in the other, wrestling it into submission with the intensity of a kitten twice her size. She flops into rooms with purpose, announces her opinions loudly (especially about food dishes), and propels herself across the room with sheer determination, pulling and scooting her way toward whatever's caught her attention—usually followed by a dramatic collapse into a well-earned nap. It's a lot of enthusiasm packed into one small, formally-dressed package, all the more reason her space needs to be safe and protected as she moves.

Her ideal adopter will understand that this kind of support and patience is simply part of loving Bowtie, and that she's happy to coexist with feline housemates as well.

She's looking for a patient adopter ready to "Bowtie-proof" a home with soft landings and safe exploring spots. Cerebellar hypoplasia is not contagious and doesn't require medication, and it's not progressive, so Bowtie's condition will not worsen over time. With appropriate care and support from her family, she can look forward to a normal lifespan, and this level of determined, tumbling joy is simply who she is—for life.

30. Flurry

Young (7 months) · Male · Siamese / Snowshoe / Mixed (short coat) · 33 mi from Oceanside

Hi! My name is
Flurry
, and I have an important question for you:

Are you looking for a handsome kitten? Fluffy, blue-eyed lynx point Siamese who can simultaneously entertain you, supervise your household, and occasionally sit in your lap and purr?

Excellent. Because I happen to be available.

My story didn’t start out very happily. My mom, Frostine, and I were found abandoned outside during a terrible heat wave. We had no food, no water, and no idea why our humans had left us there. Thankfully, a good Samaritan found us and brought us to
D.R.E.A.M. Animal Rescue
, where we finally got the food, water, safety, and love we desperately needed.

Read more about Flurry

And now? Well…
I’m thriving!

Once I know you’re one of the good humans, I will happily turn on my
purr motor
and settle in beside you for some serious petting. I’m friendly, playful, and curious about absolutely EVERYTHING.

And when I say everything, I mean
EVERYTHING.

What’s that over there? I must investigate.

What’s that noise? Must investigate.

What’s behind that door? Obviously, I must investigate.

Why is my human sitting quietly?
Clearly, they need me.

I especially love
rope toys, coils, rattling balls, and toys I can carry around
. Yes, I said
carry
. I am a tiny kitten with very important possessions and I feel strongly that I should be allowed to transport my toys wherever I please.

I also LOVE climbing my cat tree. From up there, I can observe my kingdom, conduct surveillance operations, and occasionally launch myself into an important kitten mission.

I’m also a big fan of playing with my mom, Frostine. We have lots of fun together, although I’m pretty sure she sometimes wishes I would take a nap and stop bothering her. Personally, I think she secretly enjoys my excellent company.

And just in case you’re wondering about my manners…

I ALWAYS use the litter box.

You’re welcome.

So, if you’re looking for a handsome little lynx point Siamese who is playful, inquisitive, friendly, affectionate once he gets to know you, and guaranteed to bring plenty of entertainment into your life,
I might just be your guy.

Come meet me. Give me a little time to get acquainted with you. Then prepare yourself for the moment when my purr motor starts.

Because once I decide you’re my person…

You’re probably going to be my person forever.
❤️

Love,

Flurry

Bringing a cat home to your dog

Tell the rescue about your dog: their size, age and energy. A cat who has lived with a calm dog may still be nervous around a bouncy puppy.

Introduce them slowly. Keep the cat in a room of their own for the first few days, swap bedding so they get used to each other's scent, and then let them meet with the dog on a leash.

Make sure the cat can always get somewhere the dog can't reach, and keep the litter box and food bowls out of the dog's way.
