1. Amal

Adult · Male · Domestic Short Hair (short coat) · 48 mi from Escondido

I am currently available for adoption the Rancho Santa Margarita Petsmart. If you're interested in adopting me, fill out an application on our website www.carmaoc.org
Hi! I’m Amal and I’m an incredibly sweet, gentle, and loving boy with a charming personality. I have the cutest little habits that will melt your heart. After you take a shower, I love to come over and rub against your feet to welcome you back. When you go to sleep, I’ll often curl up on top of your blanket to keep you company. I am quite independent and enjoy having my own space, but whenever I get bored, I’ll come find you and invite you to play.

And I am absolutely CRAZY about cat treats! The moment I know treats are involved, you’ll have my full attention. My previous owner said one of the most wonderful things about me is my gentle temperament. I have never hissed at anyone or shown aggression. Even when something upsets me, I simply run away rather than getting angry or defensive. I am the perfect combination of independent and affectionate. I don’t demand constant attention, but I have my own adorable ways of showing you that I love you. I’m a sweet little companion who will bring warmth, laughter, and lots of love into your home.
My adoption fee is $175. That includes spay/neuter, microchip, FIV/FeLV combo test, current vaccines and health check.

2. Dallas and Vegas

Adult · Male · Tabby (short coat) · 42 mi from Escondido

Meet Dallas & Vegas! Double the love, double the purrs!
Some bonds are simply unbreakable, and Dallas and Vegas are the perfect example! These handsome 9 year old brothers have spent their entire lives together, and they wouldn’t want it any other way. Now, they’re looking for a loving forever home where they can enjoy their golden years side by side, surrounded by comfort, affection, and plenty of love. Now they might be 9 years old but they do not act like older cats. They still have so much life left and love to run around playing with toys and chasing each other through the house as if they were spry adolescents.
Dallas (brown tabby) is a sweet, affectionate boy who just needs a little time to feel comfortable with new people.

Read more about Dallas and Vegas

He may be a bit reserved at first, but give him about 24 hours to settle in, and you’ll soon have a purring lap cat who is happy to soak up your attention! Dallas takes comfort in his brother Vegas and looks to him for confidence when meeting new people. These two are so connected that Dallas will even call out for his brother if he can’t find him. His loving personality is absolutely worth the little bit of patience it takes to win his heart.
Vegas (grey/white) is the outgoing charmer of the duo! This total lovebug adores human attention and isn’t shy about asking for it. He’ll happily headbutt your hand or leg to remind you that it’s time for pets, and head and chin scratches are definitely the way to his heart. Vegas is also a big fan of mealtime and enjoys his food a little too much! He’s carrying a little extra weight and could benefit from losing a pound or two to help keep him healthy. With some portion control and a balanced diet, he’ll be on the right track!
Dallas and Vegas have lived with other cats and dogs and tend to be pretty indifferent to their furry housemates. With slow, thoughtful introductions, they may be able to share their home with other pets. Their most important relationship, however, is with each other. They are a truly bonded pair and must be adopted together.
At 9 years old, these boys have so much love left to give. They’re past the kitten chaos and ready to settle into a peaceful home where they can enjoy cozy naps, full bellies, gentle affection, and the comfort of always having their favorite companion nearby.
Could you be the forever home Dallas & Vegas have been waiting for? If you have room in your heart for two sweet adorable gentlemen, these brothers would love to meet you!

Aside from the necklaces the kitties wear in their professional pictures, Rescue Mama names her rescue cats after shows she watches.

Meet TIGER LILY, a young adult domestic shorthair tabby from Riverside County, California, whose extraordinary orange markings are matched by a heart full of sweetness and affection. This beautiful girl has one of the most eye-catching coats around, with a unique orange pattern that makes her truly stand out. But her beauty is only part of her charm. TIGER LILY is a loving, cuddly companion who is ready to discover just how wonderful life can be when she has a cozy place to call her own.

TIGER LILY came from a home where comfortable places to relax and snuggle beside her humans were limited. Despite her difficult living circumstances, she has held on to her sweet nature and her love for people. She is ready for a new chapter filled with soft beds, comfy couches, gentle affection, and all the little comforts every cat should get to enjoy.

And let me tell you, this girl knows how to show love! TIGER LILY adores cuddles and pets, and she will happily rub herself all over you to make sure you know she is delighted to have your attention. She is affectionate, friendly, and full of the kind of charm that makes having a cat around such a joy. Imagine settling onto the couch after a long day and having TIGER LILY come over to rub against you, curl up nearby, and keep you company. She could become the sweetest part of your daily routine.

TIGER LILY also has a favorite treat worth mentioning: wet food! Offering her a delicious meal is a lovely way to make her feel appreciated and help her settle into her new surroundings. Between tasty meals, affectionate head rubs, and cozy places to nap, this girl has plenty of reasons to look forward to her next chapter.

When it comes to feline roommates, TIGER LILY prefers a little personal space. She would likely thrive as the only cat, where she can enjoy being the center of attention. However, she can tolerate another cat who respects her boundaries and gives her room to relax.

PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW. IT WILL ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTIONS. If you still have questions after, we are happy to respond through email.

It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.

Read more about Isaac

The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue Mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old.

ISAAC and his siblings (ALLUCARD - ATREUS - CARMILLA) were turned into the shelter. We have no real idea what their life was before coming to the rescue.

So ISAAC and CARMILLA were adopted together back in 2021 as small kittens. To their dismay, they were returned to us in 2026. It was no fault of their own. The woman decided she was moving back home and couldn't take her cats.

Meet ISAAC, a handsome, extra-large tabby boy with beautiful white markings and a heart just as big as his cuddly frame. ISAAC is a sweet, loving gentleman who adores affection and is ready to find a loving home where he can settle in, feel cherished, and share all the warmth he has to offer.

ISAAC’s story began when he and his sister, CARMILLA, were saved from a high-kill shelter as kittens. At just three months old, ISAAC found a family to call his own. After four and a half years, he and CARMILLA returned to seek a new chapter, and now this wonderful boy is ready to meet the people who will welcome him into their lives and appreciate what a special companion he is.

If you love big cats with even bigger hearts, ISAAC might just steal yours. He is an exceptionally sweet and affectionate boy who enjoys cuddles and being close to his people. There is something extra comforting about having a big, soft feline friend nearby, ready to keep you company after a long day. Isaac has that wonderful, loving presence that makes a home feel a little warmer and everyday moments a little sweeter.

ISAAC would be happy as the only cat in the family, where he can enjoy plenty of attention and companionship. He may also be compatible with a very friendly, easygoing feline companion who is comfortable sharing space and making new friends. His future family should focus on a thoughtful introduction and a comfortable environment where everyone can settle in at their own pace.

This big tabby boy has so much love to give. He is looking for a family who sees beyond his size and recognizes the gentle, cuddly sweetheart underneath. Whether you imagine quiet evenings together, affectionate moments on the couch, or simply having a loving feline friend nearby, ISAAC is ready to bring companionship and comfort to his next chapter.

To learn more about adopting ISAAC, please apply at Workinwhiskers.com. Could this extra-large bundle of tabby sweetness be the loving companion you have been hoping to welcome into your life?

ISAAC is a DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / TABBY. She is 5 years and 6 months old and is good with cats. In his last home he was never around children but did live with a small dog.

Read more about Molly

The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat if a kitten is too much energy for you! Rescue Mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old.

Meet MOLLY, a sweet orange tabby girl from Corona, California, whose heart is full of love for people and whose favorite place is wherever she can be close to her favorite humans. MOLLY and her son, MAX, were saved from the streets together, and now this affectionate mama is ready to find a loving home where she can enjoy all the cuddles, attention, and companionship she adores.

MOLLY is a people-loving girl who knows exactly what makes life wonderful: gentle pets, warm hugs, and quality time with her humans. She is super friendly and enjoys receiving affection, making her a lovely companion for someone who wants a cat who truly appreciates human company. Whether you are settling down for a quiet evening or taking a break during a busy day, MOLLY would be delighted to share a little love and remind you how special it feels to have a feline friend by your side.

While MOLLY's heart opens easily to people, she is more cautious when it comes to meeting other cats. She can feel frightened around feline companions and may hiss or growl to communicate that she needs space. These are her ways of expressing discomfort, and she will be happiest in an environment where she feels secure and does not have to worry about sharing her space with a cat who makes her nervous.
.

MOLLY would do wonderfully as the only cat in the family, where she can enjoy being the center of attention and soak up all the affection her heart desires. Alternatively, she may be compatible with an exceptionally friendly, relaxed cat who can give her space and allow introductions to happen gradually. A patient family who respects her boundaries will help her feel safe and settled.

This beautiful orange tabby has so much love to give. She is ready for cozy naps, loving hugs, gentle head rubs, and a family who understands her needs. With MOLLY around, you can look forward to a loyal little companion who makes every day brighter simply by being near you.

My adoption fee is $175. That includes spay/neuter, microchip, FIV/FeLV combo test, current vaccines and health check.

I am currently available for adoption from my foster home. If you're interested in adopting me, fill out an application on our website www.carmaoc.org
Hi! I’m Highlander and I’m the adventurous spirit of my litter. I was the first to escape the kitten room and go exploring, and I’ve been boldly checking out new spaces ever since. Like many orange boys, my brain occasionally buffers — I pause, think, and then zoom off again — but it’s all part of my charm. I love a good chase with my littermates and bring a fun, energetic vibe to playtime. Whether it’s racing down the hallway or pouncing on a toy, I’m always ready for action. I’m confident, curious, and full of classic orange‑cat personality.

I am currently available for adoption from my foster home. If you're interested in adopting me, fill out an application on our website www.carmaoc.org
Hi! I’m Mirai! I’ve grown up with my littermates and love having big chase sessions with them. I enjoy any toy and can easily entertain myself, whether it’s batting something across the floor or inventing my own games. I’m an independent, playful kitten with a bright personality.
I do have one quirk: I’m sensitive to Revolution, and it causes temporary hair loss for me. I even got a little bald spot when I received my microchip. It doesn’t slow me down or affect my health — it’s just something to know about me.

25. Hazel.

Adult (1 year) · Female · Domestic Short Hair / Calico / Mixed (short coat) · 27 mi from Escondido

Meet Hazel!09.15.26we have terrific news! Hazel is officially done with her FIP treatment and she is now up for adoption again! FIP survivor in da house!!! yay!! FIP untreated is deadly. Feline specific and NONE infectious to other cats. its a bit expensive treatment but it's an easy treatment, just lengthy. She was diagnosed and became clinical early June and started her meds MID June. She is now officially DONE with treatment and available for adoption... again! we are so excited for her and we hope she finally finds a wonderful loving home just as she is the most wonderful loving cat. Her foster mom has sent an update and recent pics and videos and this girl is a healthy strong beauty ready to be chosen!
Foster mom notes 9.14.2
Meet Hazel! She is a beautiful and spunky calico who absolutely LOVES her people and has even become quite the social kitty in her foster home, with little to no issues meeting and getting lots of pets from strangers! She definitely prefers to be the queen of her castle (aka a single pet) but will reward you with the best cuddles and lots of affection and purrs.

Read more about Hazel.

Despite her hilarious calico sass, she is incredibly low maintenance, absolutely loves to play fetch or soccer with her many toys, and truly just wants to be someone’s favorite thing. If you’re interested in meeting Hazel, please reach out!Notes: Hazel has no problem giving "kisses" sometimes she approaches your face with strong eye contact and if you are up to it she will definitely give you a gentle smooch on the lip or nose. Also, she has lived not only at her foster moms as a single pet but ALSO at casa de ARWOB off/on as a multi pet house with both many dogs and cats. She is fine with both. She is not Buddy with the dogs and will ignore them or avoid them and cats is personality dependen. Sometimes she will play with another cat but mostly ignores the other cats. Hence, if you are looking for a bud for your car or dog she's likely not the best match. She is mostly focused on people And great match for a home with a single or multiple humans seeking an awesome companion.
8/9/26 - Here is what Hazel's foster family has to say about her:"Hazel has quickly become one of my favorite fosters ever. Not only is she adorable (look at that beautiful coat!!) but she is so incredibly sweet and cuddly. She always wants to be in the same room as me and will follow me around and plop down at my feet or talk to me regardless of what I’m doing. Throughout the day when she wants some cuddles, she’ll walk right into my lap and nuzzle up, preferring to get as close to my face as possible (she’ll even give little affectionate licks and head butts!). Her random bouts of kitten energy will definitely come through every now and then, too, and she loves anything that moves (especially if she can stalk it through her tunnel). She’s got that trademarked calico sass and personality, which makes her so entertaining to have around, and she seems very happy as the only pet in the house. While she still has a bit of stranger danger with people, once she’s around someone for a few minutes, she quickly becomes comfortable. She definitely prefers her people, though, so I’m excited to see her find her family!! Hazel does take meds once a day, which will continue for the next couple months to ensure she’s a healthy kitty, but she’s become a champ in taking them so it’s not been an issue at all. Love this girl so much!!"2/19/26 - Here is what Hazel's foster family has to say about her:"Hazel is such a spunky yet cuddly kitty! Once she's given a minute to acclimate to her surroundings, she is very confident and has that classic kitten curiosity and playfulness. She absolutely loves anything that moves and will choose playtime over treats most days of the week. With each day that passes, she's also becoming more and more of a lap kitty and, when she's not running around finding things to do, she loves nothing more than to cuddle up on your lap while you work or watch tv. 26. Flurry

Young (7 months) · Male · Siamese / Snowshoe / Mixed (short coat) · 46 mi from Escondido

Hi! My name is
Flurry
, and I have an important question for you:

Are you looking for a handsome kitten? Fluffy, blue-eyed lynx point Siamese who can simultaneously entertain you, supervise your household, and occasionally sit in your lap and purr?

Excellent. Because I happen to be available.

My story didn’t start out very happily. My mom, Frostine, and I were found abandoned outside during a terrible heat wave. We had no food, no water, and no idea why our humans had left us there. Thankfully, a good Samaritan found us and brought us to
D.R.E.A.M. Animal Rescue
, where we finally got the food, water, safety, and love we desperately needed.

Read more about Flurry

And now? Well…
I’m thriving!

Once I know you’re one of the good humans, I will happily turn on my
purr motor
and settle in beside you for some serious petting. I’m friendly, playful, and curious about absolutely EVERYTHING.

And when I say everything, I mean
EVERYTHING.

What’s that over there? I must investigate.

What’s that noise? Must investigate.

What’s behind that door? Obviously, I must investigate.

Why is my human sitting quietly?
Clearly, they need me.

I especially love
rope toys, coils, rattling balls, and toys I can carry around
. Yes, I said
carry
. I am a tiny kitten with very important possessions and I feel strongly that I should be allowed to transport my toys wherever I please.

I also LOVE climbing my cat tree. From up there, I can observe my kingdom, conduct surveillance operations, and occasionally launch myself into an important kitten mission.

I’m also a big fan of playing with my mom, Frostine. We have lots of fun together, although I’m pretty sure she sometimes wishes I would take a nap and stop bothering her. Personally, I think she secretly enjoys my excellent company.

And just in case you’re wondering about my manners…

I ALWAYS use the litter box.

You’re welcome.

So, if you’re looking for a handsome little lynx point Siamese who is playful, inquisitive, friendly, affectionate once he gets to know you, and guaranteed to bring plenty of entertainment into your life,
I might just be your guy.

Come meet me. Give me a little time to get acquainted with you. Then prepare yourself for the moment when my purr motor starts.

Because once I decide you’re my person…

You’re probably going to be my person forever.
❤️

Love,

Flurry

27. Frostine

Adult (1 year 1 month) · Female · Siamese / Mixed (short coat) · 46 mi from Escondido

Hi! My name is Frostine , and I’m a 1 year old beautiful blue eyed lynx point Siamese girl with a soft heart, a gentle soul, and a rather dramatic story about how I came to D.R.E.A.M. Animal Rescue.

My son, Flurry , and I were abandoned outside in the middle of a terrible heat wave. We had no food. No water. No way to get out of the heat. Thankfully, a wonderful Good Samaritan found us and brought us to D.R.E.A.M. They gave us something we desperately needed: a second chance. ❤️

These days, I’m discovering that life can actually be pretty wonderful!

Read more about Frostine

I’m a calm, sweet girl who just needs a little time to get to know you. Once I know you’re my person, my purr motor starts right up! I love sitting near you while you pet me, and I’m perfectly happy to keep you company without demanding that I be the center of attention.

I’m also a curious and playful girl. I enjoy rope toys, coils, balls, and toy mice , and I absolutely love climbing my cat tree. When I’m not busy investigating something important, you can usually find me perched up high on my cat tree or lounging comfortably on the sofa, quietly supervising everything happening around me. Someone has to keep an eye on things, after all!

I especially enjoy playing with my son, Flurry . We have been through a lot together, and I’m very happy that we have each other. ❤️

I’m a good girl who always uses my litter box , and I promise I’ve retired from my former career as an outdoor survival expert. These days, I’m much more interested in soft furniture, toys, affection, and having a safe place to call home.

Maybe that home could be yours ?

If you’re looking for a gorgeous Siamese girl who is sweet, calm, playful, curious, and ready to learn what it means to be truly loved, I would absolutely love to meet you.

Could you be my happily-ever-after?

Love and purrs,

Frostine

Adult · Male · Siamese · 47 mi from Escondido

I had a home at one time. Then I ended up in the streets of Kuwait. My bad luck didn't stop. Someone took me in but wasn't willing to foster me. The person wanted me gone that day. This is when I started with some good luck. I was taken in by Kuwait Animal Aid. They had a foster home that had space for me. After that I was sponsored to travel to the US to find my forever home. I'm friendly to humans but would rather be only cat. If your looking for your 1st cat to adopt. I would will be perfect for you. Please consider giving me a forever home.

29. Jolene

Young · Female · Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) · 26 mi from Escondido

Jolene is a sweet, friendly kitty. She is just a year old and approx.10lbs. She is mostly a calm kitty who loves to cuddle or quietly explore, but she does get excited to play with her wand toy and she sometimes carries her toys around in her mouth to show off what she "caught." She isn't the best hunter though and has never been outside. Since she has been well socialized with other cats and dogs, she needs to remain an indoor kitty because she wouldn't run from strange dogs or coyotes.

Why adopt an adult cat in Escondido

An adult cat's personality is fully formed, so the rescue can tell you how they are with people, other pets and busy households. Many have lived in foster homes and are used to family life.

Grown cats are calmer and need less supervision than kittens, which suits people who work long hours or have young children.
