Hi, my name is Calypso. I was four months old when I was rescued from an overcrowded shelter. Something was wrong with my eyes, they were tiny slits, and I could not see with them. It seems I was born that way, but the rest of me is fine. I had surgery to remove both my eyes, and now I am fully recovered and ready for my forever home. I may be a little timid when I first meet new people, but I like attention and pets. My lack of vision is not slowing me down one bit. I am a very active kitten, and I love to play and run around. I have no any trouble finding my food or my litter box. I just need a home where my things stay in the same place so I can find them. I have lots of love to give, and I hope to find a home soon.

Hi, my name is Mitzi. I am a very friendly girl, so I think I had a home once. I wandered into a yard, and the lady thought her dogs might hurt me, so she brought me to SBACC. I am a very active cat who still has lots of kitten energy. I love to run around, explore, and play. I am also talkative and will let you know when I want something. In addition to being friendly, I am affectionate and enyoy being held and cuddled. Some people might say I am the purrfect cat, so I expect to find my forever home very, very soon. And, BTW, I am also pretty cute.

Hi, my name is Taylor. I was left behind when my person moved, and I spent weeks hanging out in a backyard. She noticed something strange on my nose and was not sure whether it was an injury or an infection, but she did not want it to get worse, so she brought me to SBACC. The vet checked me out and even did a skin biopsy, which showed no parasitic infections, but they said I probably had flea or other insect bites. It is taking me a little while to get used to life at SBACC, and I am just starting to emerge from the cubby that I have been hiding in. I am a really friendly cat, and I like people and pets. I am not looking my best right now because of my nose injury, but it is starting to get better, and I know I will be looking great pretty soon. I am hoping for a forever home before the holidays.

Hi, my name is Bella. I was rescued from an overcrowded shelter and brought to SBACC. It was obvious that I was very pregnant, and I delivered six kittens in my foster home the very next day. Sadly, one of them did not survive, but the other five have grown into happy, healthy kittens and will soon be ready for their forever homes. I took very good care of my kittens, but I am now done with motherhood and ready to be loved and pampered in my own home. My foster Mom says that I am the sweetest cat you will ever meet. Hi, my name is Latte. I was eight weeks old when an SBACC volunteer rescued me from the wheel well of a car. After coming to SBACC I went to a foster home with another orphaned kitten. I am a shy but affectionate boy. I will hide when I’m feeling insecure. Once I warm up to my environment I become a sweet and affectionate kitty. I like to play and would love to cuddle up next to you and I purr when I am happy. I never scratch or bite and I am good with other cats and kids! I would do best in a quiet home and with someone with patience who will wait for me to come out of my shell and be the loving kitten that I am.

Hi, my name is Lenore Dove, and I am a survivor. I had been abused, but luckily I was rescued and brought to SBACC. Someone who feeds feral cats found me. I had been dumped in a colony of ferals, and she knew I was in bad shape and did not belong there. I had a severely damaged eye that ruptured and had to be removed, and I had bruising on my abdomen and chest that looked like I had been kicked. I also had sores and scabs on my neck and head. I am a bit shy and timid, but I warm up quickly to quiet, gentle people. The people who care for me at SBACC say I am very sweet. I am hoping to find a home where I will be safe and loved forever and ever.

Hi, my name is Henna. I was rescued from an abandoned property along with my two kittens. They went to a foster home, but I stayed at SBACC. I was not in very good shape. I had a severely damaged eye that had to be removed, and I have a significant head tilt. Some specialists have checked it out, and they think it’s due to an ear infection and some inner ear issues. It might be with me forever. Despite this, I am a very friendly girl and a ball of energy. I am hoping for a forever home, and I would probably do best as an only cat.

Hi, my name is Elody. I was rescued from an overcrowded shelter when I was about 5-6 weeks old. I had a URI and an eye infection, and my URI turned out to be pneumonia. After lots of antibiotics, both are gone now. One eye is fine, but the other is cloudy and probably always will be. That does not slow me down, and I love to run around and play. I do not like competing for attention, but I would love to be the center of your world. I will wake you with kisses and pull you in for face nuzzles. I love chasing balls, wand toys, feathers, streamers, or even your sandals! I am a super-active cuddlebug and ready for my forever home. I could be an only kitten if I get lots of attention and playtime with my humans, but it would be much more fun to go home with one of my sibs or with another kitten or young cat. X-rays did not show any breaks, and the vet said it might be nerve damage, so I went to a neurologist. He said it was definitely nerve damage and that maybe I had been hit by a car. He said there was no treatment for it, that physical therapy might or might not help, and that it is best that I not jump from high places or play too rough. I spent some time in a foster home, and I got around just fine; my paw hasn't slowed me down or stopped me from climbing and batting toys around.

Hi, my name is Quyen. I was all alone and about six weeks old when a dog chased me up a cactus tree. Luckily, someone rescued me and brought me to SBACC, and then I went to a foster home. After about a month, another kitten named Harriet arrived at my foster home, and we became friends and had fun playing together. I may take a while to get comfortable with a new person, but once I get to know you, I will be your companion and will curl up next to you, but probably not in your lap. I slept next to my foster Mom. She says I am very intelligent. I love games and toys. I am a kitten who loves being with another cat, so I really need a home with another kitten or young cat for company.

We were brought to SBACC and Artemis, and I went to one foster home while my two sisters went to another. I am a very brave, playful, and social kitten. Nothing can keep me down! Hi, my name is Kiki. I lived in a nice backyard with another cat for some time. The lady fed us and tried to keep us safe. We both had kittens, and she decided we deserved a better life, so she brought us to SBACC. My kittens went to a foster home, and I stayed at SBACC while I waited for a forever home. I am still a little nervous around people, but I am getting more comfortable every day. I enjoy attention and pets, and I get along well with other cats. I am very petite and pretty.
