2. Ebi & Wasabi

Kitten (3 months 17 days) · Female · Tabby (short coat) · 24 mi from South San Francisco

Meet Wasabi and Ebi,
Born in July 8, 2026, these orange kittens are playful, curious, and remarkably gentle. Raised together in a loving foster home, they’ve grown up as a true team and would love to stay that way.

Wasabi (the adventurous brother) is a fearless little explorer. He’s usually the first to check out a new toy, dart into a room, or see what you’re doing. If you enjoy a kitten who brings lively curiosity and energy to every corner of the house, Wasabi is your guy.

Read more about Ebi & Wasabi

Ebi (the sweet homebody) is gentler and more reserved. She takes a little time to warm up to brand-new places or people, but once she feels safe, her affectionate side shines. She loves cozying up for cuddles and settling in for quiet quality time with her favorite humans.

Together they balance each other perfectly—Wasabi brings the spark and Ebi brings the softness. Whether they’re playing side by side or sharing a lap, their bond is clear.Ideal home: Because Ebi thrives in a peaceful setting where she can fully relax, this duo would do best in a calm, gentle household ready to give them the secure, patient home they deserve. Indoor-only, preferably with no young children or high-energy dogs.
The kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on their vaccines. Fill out our adoption questionnaire so you can meet them and learn more.

4. Kimura and Leo

Kitten · Female · Domestic Short Hair (short coat) · 25 mi from South San Francisco

Meet Kimura (Kimmie for short) and Leo, 5 month old kitten brother and sister, and the perfect combination of temperaments and personality. These two came from a hoarding/ neglect situation and were starved and sick upon intake. Luckily, these two are resilient and pulled through though not all of their siblings were as fortunate. Due to all of the early medical intervention and care, they have grown into quite the tolerant, gentle, and loving duo making them suitable for respectful children.
Kimura (Female, Black nose) - Bold, confident, and rambunctious, she is the first one to show up to the party and the last one to leave. She loves to play, gets along with everyone, seems to like being held and pet, takes medication well, and allows for nail trimming without incident. While she is affectionate and sweet, her number one priority right now is play and she goes all out with a wand and mice (her favorite). She is full of spunk and character. Also, she has the most beautiful multicolor eyes!
Leo (Male, White face) - Gentle, calm, and serene, there is something about this little boy that is hard to put into words. While he loves to play, he also has a slow paced, observant nature that somehow exudes peace and tranquility, reminding his humans to slow down and breathe. When he wants affection, he never imposes or asserts, but rather quietly and patiently waits. He will gently lean into your hand and paw for you in the air without touching you signaling for more love. You will find him curled up around the house in the most cozy of spots sleeping peacefully, though he is more than happy to be stirred for pets or treats. Along with his peaceful, tranquil vibe, he loves plants (primarily eating them) so he will need a home where he is kept safe from himself in that department.

5. Ber and Bolo

Kitten · Male · Domestic Short Hair (short coat) · 25 mi from South San Francisco

Meet Ber & Bolo ( about 5 months old), two brothers who also happen to be besties. They came from a hoarding/ neglect situation and were starved and sick upon intake. Luckily, these two are resilient and pulled through though not all of their siblings were as fortunate. Due to all of the early medical intervention and care, they have grown into quite the tolerant, gentle, and loving duo making them suitable for gentle children.
Ber (all gray) - As sweet and loving as they come. He is a purr box and starts rumbling before you even begin touching him. He cuddles wonderfully and is the only of his kitten counterparts who prioritizes affection and cuddling over play (though he also loves to play).

Read more about Ber and Bolo

Very food motivated, easy to trim his nails, takes medication like a little champ, is tolerant of being held and carried and kissed in the face. Gets along wonderfully with the other cats in the home and has good manners after an introductory period. He is still learning to find his voice it seems and gives the sweetest, nearly silent cries for pets and wet food.
Bolo (gray and white) - Slower to warm up and a bit more apprehensive, but ultimately a cuddle and love bug as well who chirps to communicate and meows when it is wet food time. Once comfortable, he is also a spunky and tolerant kitty who is gentle and occasionally gives soft love bites. He likes to run in front of his foster mom while she is walking and flop onto the floor while looking up at her expectantly for pets. He also does this on a few other designated pet spots in the home including the couch and the bed. He also can be a bit hissy when first meeting a new cat but he is all bark and no bite. He now loves and cuddles with all of the older adult cats in the home if they allow him to.
*Both of these boys need a home that will give them the time to acclimate at their own pace and build trust (took about 1-2 weeks after moving to their current foster home to full embrace the humans). After that period, they will reward you with plenty of love and laughs.
If interested send Marilyn an email and put the kittens' name on the subject line.Email: Marileealong@comcast.net

Read more about Big guy and Crooked Tail

Meet the Miniature Panthers — Two Cats, Zero Personal Space!
Big Guy and Crooked Tail are a bonded pair of handsome black cats who take their job as professional lap cats very seriously. Sit on the floor and, within seconds, one of them will likely be in your lap purring like a tiny motorboat. Consider yourself warned.
They also enjoy the finer things in life: lounging on their cat tree, watching out the windows, and generally supervising everything that happens in their kingdom.
The boys spent their first 8 months living outdoors, but they've decided that indoor life is MUCH better. Soft beds? Excellent. Windows? Fascinating. Lap? Obviously.
Big Guy is the outgoing one. He’s friendly with everyone and assumes that anyone he meets is probably a potential friend.
Crooked Tail is a little more cautious and likes to observe things before joining the party. But pull out the chin scratches and he’ll warm up quickly. And then there’s his wonderfully weird tail! When he’s relaxed and curious, his tail curls around his body instead of standing straight up. The vet suspects he was simply born this way. We think it gives him extra personality points.
These two have discovered that being indoor cats is pretty fabulous. Now they just need a forever home where they can continue their important work of purring, lounging, window-watching, and occupying laps.
Two miniature panthers. One big dose of personality. And yes, they come as a package deal.

14. Frito & Dorito

Young (6 months) · Female · Domestic Short Hair (short coat) · 6 mi from South San Francisco

Bonded pair! Two for one special!

Read more about Frito & Dorito

Hey there, my name is Frito! I am 6 month old, spayed female, gray tabby, domestic shorthair kitty cat who is on the smaller size as I'm still a growing girl. I'm bonded with my brother, Dorito, and together, we're the two coolest cats in town! A little bit about me - I'm an adorable, but slightly nervous gal who is still growing into myself in more ways than one. I can be timid and am cautious around new faces, but have been slowly, but surely, getting more confident and brave. I like to approach people at my own pace and love getting gentle pets as I grow more comfortable around you - my purrs say it all! I also enjoy playtime with a specific affinity for shoelaces and feather toys - it's the simple things in life after all! With all of this being said, I would do best in a very experienced cat household without kids who are willing to provide me with lots of time, understanding and love as I grow into a more confident and self-assured cat that I know I can be. If you think we could learn and grow together, then come on down to the shelter and ask for more information about me. I can't wait to find my furever people!- Frito ID#A0986988

Hiya, my name is Dorito and it's a pleasure to meet you! I am a 6 month old, neutered male, gray tabby, domestic shorthair cat who is looking for his furever family with my sister, Frito! I'm currently on the smaller size as I am still young and growing. Not only am I growing physically, but personality-wise too! I'm a sweet, little guy who can be quite timid, but am on my journey to becoming a more confident cat. Like my sister, I am cautious and can be unsure of new people and environments, but am also hoping to follow in her paw-steps and challenge myself with being a little braver, one step at a time. While physical touch may not be my love language right now, there is still plenty of room for me to warm up to it and in the meantime, I enjoy playing with toys that help me feel more comfortable in my surroundings - love a good feather toy! As mentioned above, my ideal home would be with a very cat-experienced family without children who can be patient with me and understands my needs as I continue to grow into myself. I know that we can build something special and strong together, a bond for life.- Dorito ID#A0986987

Meet these two gorgeous dilute tortie sisters, born June 28, 2026. They are the perfect combination of beautiful, playful, affectionate—and completely devoted to each other.
These girls absolutely love people. They adore attention, happily climb into laps, and will soak up all the affection you’re willing to give. They’re playful little kittens one minute and cuddly lap companions the next.
But their sweetest relationship is with each other.
They play together, chase each other, nap together, and curl up side by side. They are truly bonded, and their love for one another is so obvious that we simply cannot separate them.
And honestly, why would we? ❤️
Imagine having two gorgeous little tortie girls who greet you with affection, climb into your lap for cuddles, entertain each other with kitten antics, and then fall asleep together in a furry little heap.

Georgie is a beautiful gray tabby, born 4/7/26. She was found in a small cat colony and started out as a very scared kitten. With the patience of her foster — and the encouragement of her best buddy Stevie — Georgie has learned that people can be pretty wonderful. She now enjoys being petted and spending time with Stevie.
Stevie is a tortie girl, born 4/29/26, and she is the ultimate cuddle bug. She is incredibly sweet, loves being a lap cat, and even likes to perch on her foster’s shoulder while they work.

Clearly, she believes supervising is part of her job!
These two have become the best of friends, and they truly bring out the best in each other. Because of their special bond, Georgie and Stevie need to be adopted together. Older gentle kids would be fine, Stevie might struggle with the activity of young kids, so we'd like kids to be over 10.

Read more about Ebony & Sukkar

Hi there, my name is Ebony! I am a 1 year old, spayed female, small-sized, domestic shorthair, brown tabby. I'm looking for my forever home with my brother and bestie, Sukkar. I'm a shyer girl who is still finding my way in this big, beautiful world. I'm a gentle soul who just needs some time to adjust to new surroundings and people. One thing I love to do that puts me at ease is perching up next to a window where I can observe and take in the loud and big sights of the world from afar. The sun shining on my face doesn't hurt either! I also have a playful side that comes out from time to time and will probably grow as I spend more time with you. Wand toys and lasers are my toys of choice; I'm a classic girl at the end of the day! And of course, I enjoy head and cheek rubs as I get to know you more. With all of this being said, I'd appreciate going to a family that has some experience with more introverted cats and if kids are present, teenagers and above only. I would do best with a family who can dedicate time and patience to helping me continue to come out of my shell. There's still so much to learn and be and I'm sure you can help me get there. :)- ID#A0986880

Hi everyone, my name is Sukkar! I am also a 1 year old, neutered male, small-sized domestic shorthair, brown tabby. I'm a two for one deal so wherever I'm going, it'll be with my sister, Ebony! I'm also a timid guy and get a bit nervous when meeting new people or being in new environments. Though with time and patience, I'm hoping to grow out of this and become a more confident cat. One fun fact about me is that I'm quite the playful dude and love spending time with wand and feather toys that make me the ultimate parkour master! I'm also an avid lover of Churu treats (who isn't?) that help me feel more comfortable around you for gentle head pets and rubs. The stomach truly is the way to a guy's heart! I'd really appreciate going to a family who is committed to slow and steady work so I can thrive in life with you. Teens and above only please. :)- ID#A0986879

Smokey is the mom to these four cats. She is about 3 years old, very small for her age with long grey and white fur. Smokey has a defected eye, but the vet thinks that there is nothing to be done. She is shy, but loves to be pet.
Her offspring are all huge cats and are about 2.5 years old. They were all rescued from a backyard colony and they bonded and will have to go in pairs as follows:
Chanel, a tuxedo tabby girl with Hermes white/grey medium hair boy. Chanel is confident and very much a cat cat. Hermes needs a lot of attention and a lot of pets. Chanel is Hermes' anchor.
Fendi, Gucci and Smokey can do various combinations.
Gucci and Fendi, the boys, are huge white, brown, grey and black tabbies. They play very well together and go exploring together, but they each take turns cuddling up to mom, Smokey

First to explore, play and first to the food. They are not lap cats, they are just typical cats, although Luna is showing a great potencial to become a lap cat once she is older.
Foxy is very shy, but does love pets and Teddy is confident, but stays back, process situations and then decides whether it's worth her while.
Marbles, the mom, is a very loving girl, but shy. Once she is given a chance to decompress she will be a cuddle bug.
Sunshine is a gorgeous orange tuxedo boy. He might have been abused because he is missing lower small teeth and the end of his tail. a person who will give him a home needs to have experience with long haired cats because Sunshine needs weekly brushing to keep his coat beautiful since he can't do a good job because his grooming teeth are missing. He likes being groomed.

Why adopt a bonded pair

Bonded cats groom each other, play together and keep each other company while you're out, and they usually settle into a new home faster than a cat on its own.

Pairs often wait longer for homes than single cats, and many rescues charge less to adopt them together.
