1. Lucille

Young (1 year 6 months) · Female · Tabby / Domestic Short Hair (short coat) · 2 mi from Walnut Creek

Adopt Lucille! Born around April 2025, beautiful Lucille gave birth to 4 kittens in April 2026, and the family was brought in from streets of Martinez shortly after. Lucille did a great job raising her kittens and is ready for her forever home. She has gorgeous eyes full of wonder and a slightly flat face; maybe she is part Scottish Fold.

Lucille loves cuddling people and being patted. She will approach you for pattings, curling and purring to show her happiness. She loves sleeping on your chest or in your lap. She would do best as an only cat but could get used to other cats with patience.

2. Aloisius

Adult (2 years 1 month) · Male · Tabby / Mixed · 13 mi from Walnut Creek

CASTRO VALLEY, CA: ALOISIUS (CP) is just the sweetest boy!! He was a very handsome young tomcat (meaning an adult male cat unneutered, with a big round head), when he was found and rescued as he was walking in an area known for coyotes.

Aloisius is a very tame cat, so it is likely someone was feeding him and tamed him down, but he was not microchipped and his owner could not be located. Aloisius is now safe and cared for in a foster home.

Read more about Aloisius

Aloisius is adorable and a total sweetheart, and he deserves his own loving indoor-only home. It is likely he would get along with children 8 years or older who are gentle and can move more slowly until he adjusts to his new family and environment.

Aloisius would do great in a home with another kitty, but probably not with dogs.

Aloisius was born in approximately September 2024. He is healthy, has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and is ready for his forever home!

If you are looking for a great, gentle companion for yourself and maybe your cat, you cannot go wrong with this sweet, precious and very handsome boy!

This is a Courtesy Post, and Aloisius is with Angus & Friends Cat Rescue in Castro Valley, California. For more information, please text Deborah at 510-909-4961. Visit their website at https://angusandfriendscatrescue.com.

Please Note: This cat has not yet been tested for FIV/FeLV, to our knowledge. Potential adopters should confirm the cat’s status with their rescue group and should consult with their veterinarian for recommendations regarding testing.

Machiavelli is a handsome, shy boy with cloud-soft black fur, a gray undercoat, and beautiful ear tufts. He needs more time to feel comfortable with people, but his playful side shines when he and Lillian chase and tumble together. A patient adopter who lets him set the pace will give him the chance to blossom.

Rescued from life outdoors, these two have come a long way. They need someone who enjoys Lillian’s company while giving Machiavelli the time and understanding he needs to feel safe.

10. Sadie

Adult (6 years 9 months) · Female · Domestic Medium Hair / Mixed (medium coat) · 16 mi from Walnut Creek

Beautiful and petite Sadie is a kitten at heart when it comes to her favorite toys in the world – pom pom balls! She delightfully bats and tosses them in the air without a care in the world. Let's just say that she is one very happy cat when her foster digs out the multiple pom pom balls that get stuck under furniture (a daily routine).

Read more about Sadie

Sadie's sweet personality shows when she greets you for pets by lowering her chin and offering you the top of her head for a gentle pat. She is a curious girl following you around, always interested in what's going on. Sadie warms up slowly to new people but once she bonds, she will be your devoted companion. She gets along with another cat but she would also be fine as an only pet. Dogs and children are untested but would likely do best in a home that is quiet and calm. We estimate that Sadie was born around January 2020. Kitty Bio 3876MB-Sa.

Leo was rescued from a park in August 2026. He was a young cat with a broken femur, probably from being hit by a car. Leo was a stray/unowned cat according to the neighbors. When we accepted him into our program he had a long road ahead of him. He was facing pain, uncertainty, and a future that no little cat should have to face alone.

But Leo was a fighter! With the help of his amazing veterinary team, he underwent surgery to repair his broken leg. It took time, care, and plenty of love, but this brave boy never gave up.

Leo’s story is a beautiful reminder that sometimes, all it takes is a helping hand and a chance to change a life. Now, this sweet young boy needs one more miracle: a family of his very own.

Could you be the person who gives Leo the happily-ever-after he deserves? Someone to cherish him, spoil him, and make sure he never has to face the world alone again?

Adult · Female · Domestic Short Hair / Tabby / Mixed · 23 mi from Walnut Creek

Junipurr (Juni) – A Shy Sweetheart with So Much Love to Give Hi there! My name is Junipurr, but you can call me Juni! I'm a sweet, gentle girl with stunning green eyes and a whole lot of love to give. I just need a little time to feel comfortable enough to show you. I was rescued from a feral cat colony in Fresno, and I've come a long way since then! I can be a little shy when meeting new people, so I appreciate a gentle approach and a little patience while I get to know you. Once I feel comfortable, my sweet, affectionate personality comes shining through. I absolutely adore pets and attention, and I have so much love to give! I'm a sensitive girl, so unfamiliar sounds and sudden movements can send me looking for a good hiding spot.

Read more about Junipurr aka Juni

And trust me, I'm a professional hider! But with a little patience, some tasty treats, and gentle encouragement, I'll come out to say hello. Once I know I'm safe, my affectionate side really shines. I'm not a particularly high-energy kitty. I'd much rather curl up on your lap or settle into a cozy spot nearby and enjoy your company. I love rubbing my face against you, weaving around your legs, and soaking up all the pets I can get. When I'm feeling especially comfortable, I might even rub my face against yours and give you a few sweet kisses! I'll come when you call my name or pat your lap, too. Did I mention I'm a purring machine? I purr constantly when I'm happy, and I make the sweetest little trills and chirps to let you know how I'm feeling. My dream home would be a calm, quiet place where I can be your one and only kitty. I'd love a patient, understanding person who will give me the time I need to settle in. I also have some skin sensitivities, so I'm on a special novel protein diet that helps keep me comfortable and healthy. Concerned about me being FIV+? Don't be—there's lots of helpful information out there to put your mind at ease. I can live a long, healthy life, meow. If you'd like to learn more, here's a great resource from the Cornell University FIV Guide. I may take a little extra time to trust you, but once I do, you'll have a devoted, affectionate companion who will fill your days with purrs, chirps, and plenty of love. Hi, my name is Ollie, and I was rescued after being found all by myself in a parking lot without my mother or siblings. I am a sweet and observant boy. My foster mom says that I'm very calm, and we are working on my confidence. I really like to be in the same room as my human. When people come to my home they always tell me that I have extra-soft fur and pretty eyes. Some people say that I look like a little panther because I’m shiny and graceful!

I love my foster brothers and sisters -- I play with them all the time and we like to give each other baths. I try not to play too rough but I like to run around the family room! I've heard my mom tell people that if my forever home had another cat or two, I would fit in very well.

I was born approximately May 31, 2026. I have been fixed, vaccinated and microchipped, and am ready for my new, loving home!

Young · Male · Domestic Medium Hair / Mixed (medium coat) · 19 mi from Walnut Creek

When Yogi isn’t zooming around the house playing with his brother, he wants nothing more than to curl up on your chest and snuggle into your neck. He instantly loves everyone he meets. This boy craves constant human affection and will do anything to be involved in everything. That includes climbing people like trees! Because of this we have put nail caps on him. He knows now that he can’t climb people but he still likes to paw at our legs for attention. It’s very cute. He’s also very easy to put nail caps on, he just loves the attention. He should eventually grow out of the climbing though and no longer need the nail caps.

Read more about Yogi

Because of his clinginess he would love a home where his person is either retired or works at home. However, if he were adopted with his brother Boo Boo, he would likely be ok with being alone during the day. He’s great around other cats and would likely do very well with children and dogs. He’s confident and curious and has very little fear of anything. Whoever adopts this precious little guy is incredibly lucky!

23. Boo Boo

Young · Male · Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) · 19 mi from Walnut Creek

Boo Boo is a quiet little guy but don’t let that fool you. He’s extremely friendly, curious, and outgoing. He’s obsessed with wand toys and can hear one being played with from anywhere in the house. He’s also fascinated by the vacuum and very curious about the dishwasher. He’s the kind of cat that tries to climb into everything. He’s very silly. He likes to cuddle on the couch or in bed, and when you pick him up he melts right into your arms. He loves wrestling with his brother and chasing his foster cat sisters around the house. He would really love being adopted with his brother. At the very least he needs one or two other cat companions.

Read more about Boo Boo

Boo Boo has FHV (feline herpes virus) which is very common among cats and not something that will affect his long term health. Stress or illness, especially when cats are young, can cause flare ups that result in cold like symptoms. They usually resolve in a week or two but for some cats like Boo Boo they can last longer. Boo Boo’s only lingering symptom is a weepy eye, but we are hopeful that once he settles into his forever home it will eventually go away. For some cats it can take many months to dry up. But not to worry, Boo Boo is very good about having his eye cleaned. In fact, he doesn’t have any bad habits that we’ve seen, he’s really just a very sweet, playful, and well mannered boy. He gets along very well with other cats and would likely do well with dogs and children too. Though the stress of a more active household might make his weepy eye take longer to resolve.

25. Teddy

Young (4 months 11 days) · Male · Domestic Medium Hair / Mixed (medium coat) · 11 mi from Walnut Creek

Teddy’s name describes him perfectly. He’s a sweet, cuddly, loving kitten. He’s always been quick to open up to strangers. He’s confident and loves to explore and play. He loves cuddles, pets, and treats!

Most of the time Teddy’s love language is physical touch, and he’ll choose cuddles over a treat. The rest of the time, he’ll definitely go for the treat!

Teddy has a sister named Tink, whom he loves to play with, and who is also just as loving and loyal. Most kittens from the cat colony Teddy was rescued from tend to be scared and run away, but Teddy has always been curious. Teddy is a friendly and independent kitten. He would do well being adopted with his sister Tink or his best buddy Romeo, from another litter.

27. Stella

Young (1 year) · Female · Calico / Domestic Short Hair (short coat) · 2 mi from Walnut Creek

Adopt Stella! Stella was a community cat who arrived on her rescuer’s porch starving and underweight. Her rescuer gained Stella’s trust with regular meals and fresh water, and she was trapped and brought indoors where she has adapted well.

We believe she was born in 2025, although we can’t be certain of her age.

She has the most beautiful markings and such a sweet, gentle temperament. She’s incredibly calm, although still a little timid as she learns to feel safe. Once she feels comfortable, she is super cuddly. She is docile around other cats.

Stella has been spayed, vaccinated, and is now ready to find her forever home.

She’s a special little girl who deserves a home where she can feel safe, loved, and never have to worry again.

28. Faith

Young · Female · Domestic Short Hair / Tabby / Mixed · 23 mi from Walnut Creek

Mini Mia & Faith – Two Sweethearts, One Special Bond! Hi there! We're Mini Mia and Faith, two adorable kittens with lots of love to give! We were rescued in Fresno, and now we're looking for a forever home where we can stay together. We're the best of friends, and we can't wait to find a family to call our own! We're both affectionate little sweethearts who love being close to our humans. We're friendly with everyone, especially if you have a Churu to share! We have plenty of kitten energy and curiosity, but we're also pretty mellow for kittens. We love being picked up, enjoy cuddles, and will happily snuggle against your legs at night.

Read more about Faith

We're also gentle with our teeth and claws, even when we're having fun. I'm Faith! I'm the fearless little shadow of the duo. I love following my humans around and being involved in whatever they're doing. New places can make me a little nervous at first, but it doesn't take me long to feel right at home. I'm curious, adventurous, and extremely food motivated. Let's just say there's not much I wouldn't do for a tasty treat! And I'm Mini Mia! I'm a little more reserved when meeting new people or exploring unfamiliar places, but once I feel comfortable, my sweet and playful personality shines through. I love climbing and exploring high places, and one of my favorite things to do is grab a toy mouse or wand toy and proudly carry it away. I was initially a little unsure about hands, but I've discovered that cuddles are pretty wonderful! I'm also the bigger and very patient sister, especially when Faith decides to flop right on top of me or steal a bite of my food. One of our favorite things is playing together. We love wrestling, chasing each other, and then settling down for a good grooming session. You'll often find us curled up in one adorable puddle of kitten sweetness, fast asleep. We really are the best of buddies! We're a bonded pair and must be adopted together. We bring out the best in each other, and with our affectionate personalities, playful spirits, and love of human companionship, we promise to bring twice the love and twice the fun to our forever home. Could you be the lucky family we've been waiting for? Follow our foster adventures on Instagram: @egwene_al_meow_fosters Rescued in Fresno. Fostered in San Francisco.
