Hi, my name is Calypso. I was four months old when I was rescued from an overcrowded shelter. Something was wrong with my eyes, they were tiny slits, and I could not see with them. It seems I was born that way, but the rest of me is fine. I had surgery to remove both my eyes, and now I am fully recovered and ready for my forever home. I may be a little timid when I first meet new people, but I like attention and pets. My lack of vision is not slowing me down one bit. I am a very active kitten, and I love to play and run around. I have no any trouble finding my food or my litter box. I just need a home where my things stay in the same place so I can find them. I have lots of love to give, and I hope to find a home soon.

Sox is a tiny grey kitten with the cutest white blaze on the chest and little white paws.

At just eight weeks old, Sox is understandably a little frightened in the shelter. There was some hissing at first, but once one of our volunteers held this little baby and helped them settle, Sox started purring and then it was time to play!

Hi, my name is Latte. I was eight weeks old when an SBACC volunteer rescued me from the wheel well of a car. After coming to SBACC I went to a foster home with another orphaned kitten. I am a shy but affectionate boy. I will hide when I’m feeling insecure. Once I warm up to my environment I become a sweet and affectionate kitty. I like to play and would love to cuddle up next to you and I purr when I am happy. I never scratch or bite and I am good with other cats and kids! I would do best in a quiet home and with someone with patience who will wait for me to come out of my shell and be the loving kitten that I am.

Hi, my name is Elody. I was rescued from an overcrowded shelter when I was about 5-6 weeks old. I had a URI and an eye infection, and my URI turned out to be pneumonia. After lots of antibiotics, both are gone now. One eye is fine, but the other is cloudy and probably always will be. That does not slow me down, and I love to run around and play. I am shy with new people but will become a lovebug once I warm up. I liked the older cats in my foster home and would love a quiet home with another cat. Hi, my name is Udon. I was rescued from an overcrowded shelter when I was three months old. One of my front paws was injured. X-rays did not show any breaks, and the vet said it might be nerve damage, so I went to a neurologist. He said it was definitely nerve damage and that maybe I had been hit by a car. He said there was no treatment for it, that physical therapy might or might not help, and that it is best that I not jump from high places or play too rough. I spent some time in a foster home, and I got around just fine; my paw hasn't slowed me down or stopped me from climbing and batting toys around.

Westley was found all alone, barely surviving in a parking lot. He was very skinny and scared. Luckily he has discovered that life is worth living and now that he's learned to play, he rarely stops! Hi, my name is Macho. I was six weeks old, all alone and hiding under an RV when I was rescued and brought to SBACC. I had a severely injured tail that sadly had to be amputated. I went to a foster home where I was treated for intestinal parasites. It took two months, but they are finally all gone. I am kinda shy and timid but am slowly getting a little braver with help from Oso. He arrived at my foster home a few weeks after I did. He is a little younger than me, but he helped me become braver, and we became best buds. Our foster Mom says we truly balance each other out perfectly. We are both SERIOUS foodies and absolutely lose our minds when food is involved! I am not a fan of being held, and would do best in a quiet, child-free home with someone who understands that trust takes time.
