At just eight weeks old, Sox is understandably a little frightened in the shelter. There was some hissing at first, but once one of our volunteers held this little baby and helped them settle, Sox started purring and then it was time to play!

Cupcake is a stunning Siamese girl with gorgeous point coloring and an equally lovely personality.
She was an absolute sweetheart during our visit. She loved playing, enjoyed being petted and was very easy to handle. Traveling isn't her favorite thing, but she really is such a good girl. ❤️
Cupcake arrived as a stray on October 11, and her stray hold ended October 15, so we're hoping she'll be available for adoption soon!

Detta is a beautiful 14-year-old senior with the most incredible green eyes, an adorable little black beauty spot on her nose and the cutest snaggletooth you have ever seen!
And there's something else that makes her extra special — Detta is polydactyl! She has six toes on each of her front paws!
But the best part? She's incredibly affectionate and sweet. This lovely senior girl has so much personality and love to give.

8. Wednesday
Wednesday came to Paw Parent with her brother Jagger. They were found by the police abandoned in an apartment after their people had gotten evicted. We were called and could not say now and scrambled to make room for them. It took them a while to settle in and get used to their new surroundings but have warmed up very well. Wednesday is still a little shy but loves to snuggle on a lab when things are calm and quiet. They are only about a year old and so gorgeous with their golden eyes and luscious coats. it would be great if they could find a home together but it is not a must. She weighs abut 10 pounds, is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped and ready to be part of a new family. 9. Jagger
Jagger came to Paw Parent with his sister Wednesday. They were left behind by people who had gotten evicted and were found by the police. We were called and couldn't say no and scrambled to make room for them. It took them a while to settle in and gain trust. Wednesday still is a little shy but once you sit and let her come to you she loves to snuggle on your lab. Both of them are absolutely gorgeous, with their golden eyes and lucious coat. Jagger is the larger than her and weighs 13 pounds. Loki cam to Paw Parent with his mom and 5 siblings, all of them pitch black. We were only able to distinguish them by putting different collars on them. Loki tends to be very shy like his mom and needs time to get to know you, but he is sweet and gentle. He would love to find a home with one of his siblings. Wizard was born into a colony that just kept growing. Thankfully, a smart neighbor began helping TNR to stop the breeding and foster the babies. Wizard has had hands on from the beginning and is such a wonderful guy! He is silly, playful and social, not to mention beautiful with his long fur! Willow was born into a colony that was breeding out of control. The "owners" didn't realize how big of a problem not getting a few cats fixed could be or how fast they can multiply. A concerned neighbor approached them about TNR and helped them get the entire colony fixed and fostered the kittens. Willow is one of those lucky kittens who will know life off the streets!
Willow loves to hang on your arm and play with her siblings all day long. She's a hit at adoptions with her siblings and she is so super sweet. She loves to be doted on and is just a love to have around.

Mary-Kate and Ashley are beautiful young tabby twins who were rescued from a high-kill shelter with mere moments to spare. Their lives nearly ended before they had truly begun—but thankfully, they made it out just in time and are now ready to find the loving forever home they deserve.
These bonded sisters are gentle, affectionate, and wonderfully mellow. They enjoy playing and exploring together, but they aren’t wild or chaotic kittens. Their calm, easygoing personalities make them lovely companions, and they would do well in a peaceful home with adults or respectful children.

This little foundling was dumped at a church—but thankfully, she found safe haven with a kindhearted rescuer who refused to leave her behind.
Rosy is now saying her prayers for a true forever home—and hoping someone special will become her savior.
At just 5 to 6 months old, Rosy is a sweet, social little girl who gets along beautifully with other cats and even lives peacefully with a senior Chihuahua. She is playful, curious, affectionate, and ready to bring endless joy and companionship to a loving family.

27. Carmen
Meet Carmen
Carmen first came to us after being abandoned in a duffel bag alongside two different litters of kittens. Still little more than a kitten herself, she raised every one of her babies with patience, devotion, and quiet strength. After giving so much of herself, it should finally be Carmen’s turn to be someone’s whole world.

Sadly, Carmen has been returned to us again. She has now experienced the heartbreak of losing several homes—not because she isn’t loving, but because none of them proved to be the right lifelong fit. This time, we are determined to find someone who truly understands her and is committed to giving her the stability she deserves.
According to her original foster, Carmen is “one of the most loving and affectionate cats she has ever known.” When Carmen feels safe and has a space to call her own, her personality blossoms. She seeks out attention and happily soaks up pets, affection, and companionship. She may not enjoy being picked up, but once you understand and respect her preferences, her love is incredibly genuine and rewarding.
Carmen’s most recent adopter reported some incidents of biting sock-covered feet, as well as grabbing, biting, and wrestling with arms or legs when she became overstimulated. We believe these behaviors may have been related to overzealous play, overstimulation, or redirected energy or aggression—not a lack of affection or an inherently aggressive temperament. They do not erase the deeply loving cat her fosters and volunteers know her to be, but they do mean Carmen needs a calm, patient, cat-savvy person who can recognize her signals, redirect her energy appropriately, respect her boundaries, and give her space when she needs it.
While other cats are not Carmen’s favorite thing, she has peacefully coexisted with cats at the adoption center. We believe she would be happiest as the only cat in her home, where she can relax and enjoy having her person and her space to herself. However, a home with another calm, respectful cat may be considered if the environment and personalities are truly the right fit.
She has also lived peacefully with a calm senior dog who largely ignored her, so she may do well with a similarly quiet, respectful dog who won’t pressure her to interact.
Carmen may not be the right cat for every household—but for the right person, she could be everything. She loves deeply, in her own language and on her own terms, and there is something incredibly special about earning the trust of a cat like her.
After surviving abandonment, raising two litters, and repeatedly losing the homes she thought were forever, Carmen deserves stability. She deserves to be chosen with intention, understood for exactly who she is, and loved for the rest of her life.

Calypso “Cal”
Meet Cal — a sweet orange tabby with the gentlest soul and, somehow, the patience of a saint.
Cal has been returned twice, alongside his sister, and not because of anything either of them did wrong. His first adoption ended after a major health scare made it clear that his adopter simply wasn’t able to provide the care they needed. His second adopter promised it would be forever — but apparently a new job and a new boyfriend were enough to change those plans. And once again, Cal and his sister were the ones left packing their bags.

They deserve so much better. They deserve a home where they are cherished, celebrated, and loved for the incredible cats they are — not treated as disposable when life changes.
Cal is an absolute sweetheart. He’s affectionate, intelligent, gentle, and wonderfully even-tempered. And despite being an orange boy, he manages to keep his orange-boy antics to a minimum. He’s easygoing, social, and just an all-around fantastic guy.
This little lad came from a LARGE brood, born to an amazing mama named Meadow, who did an incredible job raising her babies to be the very best kittens around. Cal loves to play with everyone and is happiest when he gets to be part of the action. He’s the kind of cat who makes life better simply by being in it.
After everything he’s been through, Cal is still sweet. Still trusting. Still ready to love.
Now he just needs someone who will finally make good on the word forever. ❤️

Priya is a Dilute Gray Torti kitten who was born approximately April 22, 2026. She and her sibling were found at approximately 2 weeks under a shed and were bottle fed until ready to be placed. She loves to play and enjoys pet time. She's a healthy and happy kitten looking for her forever family.
