Celeste will instantly hook you with her darling fuzzy cheeks & gentle purrs. She is from a litter of lucky polydactyl kittens who all have dazzling personalities.
Celeste and her siblings didn’t always appear so lucky. They were brought to us severely malnourished with terrible respiratory infections & other medical concerns. With weeks of careful monitoring & medications, they recovered beautifully. Of course, our efforts were only half the battle. These brave & determined sweethearts showed tremendous strength & courage throughout.

4. Momo
Momo is an adorable, affectionate, brown tabby kitten. This boy LOVES to be petted and loves to cuddle. He is very talkative with his cute little raspy voice and is extremely food motivated. Momo is very proud of his gorgeous spotted belly! He shows it off all the time and loves to have it rubbed and even kissed.
You would never suspect that this little guy had such a rough start. Momo was found in a parking lot with a severely fractured front leg. He has had a remarkable recovery and is now a normal playful kitten. But he may have a little limp and needs to be monitored as he becomes fully grown.

Behind those initial street-cat nerves, this sweet four-month-old revealed a remarkably affectionate, purr-heavy heart and a playful side that keeps her foster family entertained. With her charming personality, Grey could potentially fit in any home. Grey is a special polydactyl kitten who was born with extra toes on all four paws! One extra toe on her hind paw grew downward, which kept her foot from resting flat and meant she had to walk on her tiptoes or the side of her paw. Thanks to the incredible team at Peninsula Catworks, Grey had surgery to safely remove the problematic toe. Walter had a rough start to life. He was found hiding in a car engine, where he was squirted with a hose and then chased around a garage until he was finally caught. You might expect a kitten who experienced all that to be frightened or wary of people—but Walter has decided that humans are pretty wonderful after all!
The moment you pet him, Walter starts to purr. He loves giving and receiving kisses, enjoys belly rubs, and is an incredibly cuddly little guy. Unlike many kittens, Walter actually loves being held and will happily curl up next to you for a cozy nap if given the chance.

Jolie – Wobbly, Wonderful, and Full of Heart Hi there! My name is Jolie, and I may do things a little differently, but I don't let that stop me from enjoying life. I was found as a stray and brought to Oakland Animal Services before making my way to Give Me Shelter. I have moderate cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), a neurological condition I was born with that makes me a little wobbly when I walk. The good news? It isn't painful, it isn't contagious, and it doesn't slow me down nearly as much as you might think. I always find my way wherever I want to go! I'm a naturally curious girl. Once I think you're not watching, I'm off exploring every corner of the room, investigating anything new, and seeing what adventures await.

June was rescued with her 4 siblings from dangerous conditions and her chances at survival were very slim as she was severely malnourished with respiratory infections. Adrienne takes a smidge longer to warm up after experiencing a traumatic medical event as a younger kitty.
She was very unsure of life but we embraced her with TLC and patience & she is back to her darling self again. She loves to play and get pets.

Millie is a precious gemstone, a priceless treasure forged from pressure & hardship. She had a rough start, taking refuge under an abandoned home with her siblings & mom who had to take perilous journeys everyday to keep them alive.
Millie & her siblings were not hardened by adversity but instead they showed us just how brave & beautiful they are.
Millie is observant, gentle, & kind. She has the athleticism of a gold medalist, jumping high to meet your eyes. She is a sweet girl so grateful to be inside and loved. She loves to play and she loves to cuddle.

Worm is a wiggly, warm, wonder. He is a darling boy who is inquisitive & curious. Worm is a social bug who gets the party going and helps his kitty friends feel confident.
When Worm is done showing off his jumping & pouncing skills, he’ll delight in lap time while you watch your favorite shows.
Worm will brighten any room he is in and will be your best friend for life. This boy has a special characteristic: his left eye is slightly smaller than the right. A bad infection as a kitten caused this effect but his eye specialist gave him a clean bill of health. He’s ready to see his new home!

Meet Teddy (Teddy Bear)! Teddy is a sweet, little, tabby guy with a gentle heart and so much love to give. He can be a little shy at first, but once he feels safe and comfortable, his playful and affectionate personality begins to shine. Teddy's favorite spot is sunbathing in the catio or snuggled up to the side of his human. Teddy loves to play, loves attention, and really loves his people.

Gandalf is a beautiful gray kitten with silky medium-length fur, a little white locket on his chest, and inquisitive eyes that are always taking everything in. He can be unsure when meeting new people, but once he feels safe, his sweet and playful personality quickly comes through. Toys and treats are an excellent way to win him over.
With the people he trusts, Gandalf is very gentle and easygoing. He enjoys being held and is happy to soak up affection, but he also has a goofy, playful side.

Gandalf would likely be happiest in a quieter home where he can settle in at his own pace. He isn’t a kitten who needs to be the center of attention or run the show, and he gets along really well with other cats. He happily lets his foster friend Bix boss him around. Gandalf enjoys having a cat friend around and needs to go to a home with another playful cat or be adopted with his foster buddy Bix. Gandalf is comfortable with his foster family’s calm dog.
