Grey’s journey began this past July in a North San Jose parking lot. She wandered into a managed colony of fixed cats, clearly looking for a little help. When rescuers trapped her for TNR, a vigilant caregiver noticed her paw was bleeding right before her release. Plans changed instantly—she went home with her foster mom to heal and see if indoor life suited her. It turns out, home life suits her brilliantly! Behind those initial street-cat nerves, this sweet four-month-old revealed a remarkably affectionate, purr-heavy heart and a playful side that keeps her foster family entertained. With her charming personality, Grey could potentially fit in any home. Grey is a special polydactyl kitten who was born with extra toes on all four paws! One extra toe on her hind paw grew downward, which kept her foot from resting flat and meant she had to walk on her tiptoes or the side of her paw. Thanks to the incredible team at Peninsula Catworks, Grey had surgery to safely remove the problematic toe. Dinho (red collar) is a lover boy. Once he's comfortable, his fun side comes out, and he loves to play, especially wrestling and play fighting with his sister. Watching the two of them chase each other around is bound to make you smile.

Of course, Walter is still a kitten, so playtime is a must! He loves anything that moves, but wand toys and chasing balls are definitely among his favorites. After he’s finished showing off his playful side, he’s more than happy to settle in for some serious snuggle time.

Imagine being a tiny kitten, alone in a schoolyard, crying day after day, hoping your mama would come back. That is how little Dice's story began. This precious black-and-white boy was reportedly found in a schoolyard, where he had been crying for days. His mother had apparently moved his siblings to safety, but for reasons we will never know, Dice was left behind. He waited and cried, but no one came back for him. By the time he was rescued, Dice was desperately hungry, struggling, and in need of care. Instead of being curled up safely beside his mother and siblings, this tiny boy had been fighting to survive all alone. Thankfully, someone finally heard his cries and gave him the chance he so desperately needed. ❤️ Dice's story may have started with heartbreak, but we want it to end with love. This sweet little boy deserves a home where he will never have to wonder if someone is coming back for him, where his belly will always be full, and where he will always have a warm, safe place to sleep.
