1. Lucille

Young (1 year 6 months) · Female · Tabby / Domestic Short Hair (short coat) · 19 mi from Vallejo

Adopt Lucille! Born around April 2025, beautiful Lucille gave birth to 4 kittens in April 2026, and the family was brought in from streets of Martinez shortly after. Lucille did a great job raising her kittens and is ready for her forever home. She has gorgeous eyes full of wonder and a slightly flat face; maybe she is part Scottish Fold.

Lucille loves cuddling people and being patted. She will approach you for pattings, curling and purring to show her happiness. She loves sleeping on your chest or in your lap. She would do best as an only cat but could get used to other cats with patience.

2. Aloisius

Adult (2 years 1 month) · Male · Tabby / Mixed · 22 mi from Vallejo

CASTRO VALLEY, CA: ALOISIUS (CP) is just the sweetest boy!! He was a very handsome young tomcat (meaning an adult male cat unneutered, with a big round head), when he was found and rescued as he was walking in an area known for coyotes.

Aloisius is a very tame cat, so it is likely someone was feeding him and tamed him down, but he was not microchipped and his owner could not be located. Aloisius is now safe and cared for in a foster home.

Read more about Aloisius

Aloisius is adorable and a total sweetheart, and he deserves his own loving indoor-only home. It is likely he would get along with children 8 years or older who are gentle and can move more slowly until he adjusts to his new family and environment.

Aloisius would do great in a home with another kitty, but probably not with dogs.

Aloisius was born in approximately September 2024. He is healthy, has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and is ready for his forever home!

If you are looking for a great, gentle companion for yourself and maybe your cat, you cannot go wrong with this sweet, precious and very handsome boy!

This is a Courtesy Post, and Aloisius is with Angus & Friends Cat Rescue in Castro Valley, California. For more information, please text Deborah at 510-909-4961. Visit their website at https://angusandfriendscatrescue.com.

Please Note: This cat has not yet been tested for FIV/FeLV, to our knowledge. Potential adopters should confirm the cat’s status with their rescue group and should consult with their veterinarian for recommendations regarding testing.

10. Sadie

Adult (6 years 9 months) · Female · Domestic Medium Hair / Mixed (medium coat) · 23 mi from Vallejo

Beautiful and petite Sadie is a kitten at heart when it comes to her favorite toys in the world – pom pom balls! She delightfully bats and tosses them in the air without a care in the world. Let's just say that she is one very happy cat when her foster digs out the multiple pom pom balls that get stuck under furniture (a daily routine).

Read more about Sadie

Sadie's sweet personality shows when she greets you for pets by lowering her chin and offering you the top of her head for a gentle pat. She is a curious girl following you around, always interested in what's going on. Sadie warms up slowly to new people but once she bonds, she will be your devoted companion. She gets along with another cat but she would also be fine as an only pet. Dogs and children are untested but would likely do best in a home that is quiet and calm. We estimate that Sadie was born around January 2020. Kitty Bio 3876MB-Sa.

When we accepted him into our program he had a long road ahead of him. He was facing pain, uncertainty, and a future that no little cat should have to face alone.

Adult · Female · Domestic Short Hair / Tabby / Mixed · 25 mi from Vallejo

Junipurr (Juni) – A Shy Sweetheart with So Much Love to Give Hi there! My name is Junipurr, but you can call me Juni! I'm a sweet, gentle girl with stunning green eyes and a whole lot of love to give. I just need a little time to feel comfortable enough to show you. I was rescued from a feral cat colony in Fresno, and I've come a long way since then! I can be a little shy when meeting new people, so I appreciate a gentle approach and a little patience while I get to know you. Once I feel comfortable, my sweet, affectionate personality comes shining through. I absolutely adore pets and attention, and I have so much love to give! I'm a sensitive girl, so unfamiliar sounds and sudden movements can send me looking for a good hiding spot.

Read more about Junipurr aka Juni

And trust me, I'm a professional hider! But with a little patience, some tasty treats, and gentle encouragement, I'll come out to say hello. Once I know I'm safe, my affectionate side really shines. I'm not a particularly high-energy kitty. I'd much rather curl up on your lap or settle into a cozy spot nearby and enjoy your company. I love rubbing my face against you, weaving around your legs, and soaking up all the pets I can get. When I'm feeling especially comfortable, I might even rub my face against yours and give you a few sweet kisses! I'll come when you call my name or pat your lap, too. Did I mention I'm a purring machine? I purr constantly when I'm happy, and I make the sweetest little trills and chirps to let you know how I'm feeling. My dream home would be a calm, quiet place where I can be your one and only kitty. I'd love a patient, understanding person who will give me the time I need to settle in. I also have some skin sensitivities, so I'm on a special novel protein diet that helps keep me comfortable and healthy. Concerned about me being FIV+? Don't be—there's lots of helpful information out there to put your mind at ease. I can live a long, healthy life, meow. If you'd like to learn more, here's a great resource from the Cornell University FIV Guide. I may take a little extra time to trust you, but once I do, you'll have a devoted, affectionate companion who will fill your days with purrs, chirps, and plenty of love. Adopt Stella! Stella was a community cat who arrived on her rescuer’s porch starving and underweight. Her rescuer gained Stella’s trust with regular meals and fresh water, and she was trapped and brought indoors where she has adapted well.

We believe she was born in 2025, although we can’t be certain of her age.

She has the most beautiful markings and such a sweet, gentle temperament. She’s incredibly calm, although still a little timid as she learns to feel safe. Once she feels comfortable, she is super cuddly. She is docile around other cats.

Stella has been spayed, vaccinated, and is now ready to find her forever home.

Mini Mia & Faith – Two Sweethearts, One Special Bond! Hi there! We're Mini Mia and Faith, two adorable kittens with lots of love to give! We were rescued in Fresno, and now we're looking for a forever home where we can stay together. We're the best of friends, and we can't wait to find a family to call our own! We're both affectionate little sweethearts who love being close to our humans. We're friendly with everyone, especially if you have a Churu to share! We have plenty of kitten energy and curiosity, but we're also pretty mellow for kittens. We love being picked up, enjoy cuddles, and will happily snuggle against your legs at night.

We're also gentle with our teeth and claws, even when we're having fun. I'm Faith! I'm the fearless little shadow of the duo. I love following my humans around and being involved in whatever they're doing. New places can make me a little nervous at first, but it doesn't take me long to feel right at home. I'm curious, adventurous, and extremely food motivated. Let's just say there's not much I wouldn't do for a tasty treat! And I'm Mini Mia! I'm a little more reserved when meeting new people or exploring unfamiliar places, but once I feel comfortable, my sweet and playful personality shines through. I love climbing and exploring high places, and one of my favorite things to do is grab a toy mouse or wand toy and proudly carry it away. I was initially a little unsure about hands, but I've discovered that cuddles are pretty wonderful! I'm also the bigger and very patient sister, especially when Faith decides to flop right on top of me or steal a bite of my food. One of our favorite things is playing together. We love wrestling, chasing each other, and then settling down for a good grooming session. You'll often find us curled up in one adorable puddle of kitten sweetness, fast asleep. We really are the best of buddies! We're a bonded pair and must be adopted together. 22. Mini Mia

Young · Female · Domestic Short Hair / Tabby / Mixed · 25 mi from Vallejo

Read more about Mini Mia

We bring out the best in each other, and with our affectionate personalities, playful spirits, and love of human companionship, we promise to bring twice the love and twice the fun to our forever home. 25. Mrs Karen Patricia Green

Adult · Female · Domestic Short Hair / Bengal / Mixed (short coat) · 19 mi from Vallejo

Meet Mrs. Karen Patricia Green
Mrs. Karen Patricia Green is approximately 5 years old, 7 pounds, and a beautiful tabby with striking emerald-green eyes.
We named her Karen because, frankly, she looks like one.
She has the face of a woman who would like to speak to your manager, but underneath that judgmental little expression is a quiet, increasingly affectionate cat who is learning to trust more every day.
Karen spent her entire first day in foster care hiding. Since then, she has made steady progress and now follows her foster around the house—especially when food is involved. In fact, if Karen thinks dinner might be happening, she has a habit of repeatedly weaving directly in front of your feet, so consider this your official trip-hazard warning.
She is quiet, observant, and not especially demanding.

Read more about Mrs Karen Patricia Green

She enjoys short petting sessions and is beginning to seek out more attention, although she is not yet comfortable being picked up or sitting on a lap. We are continuing to work on that at her pace.
Karen uses the litter box reliably, eats well, and is unfazed by the resident cat’s occasional growling. She will hop onto tables or counters, but she gets down when corrected.
She is not a wildly playful cat, at least not during business hours. She has been seen chasing a ball around the room, loves a string-on-a-stick toy, and we suspect some of her more adventurous behavior happens after everyone else has gone to bed.
More recently, Karen has started spending time watching the world through the sliding glass doors, taking in all the neighborhood activity like the tiny judgmental homeowner she clearly believes herself to be.
Karen would likely do best in a calmer home with someone who is willing to let her continue building trust at her own pace. She is not a cat who wants to be scooped up and immediately smothered with affection, but she is absolutely showing us that she wants companionship and connection.
If you appreciate cats with boundaries, personality, excellent resting-bitch-face energy, and the potential to become a very loyal little shadow, Mrs. Karen Patricia Green may be your girl.
Please email beourpet@gmail.com with questions or to learn more about Karen.

26. Jonesy

Young (8 months) · Male · Tuxedo / Mixed (short coat) · 23 mi from Vallejo

Jonesy — The Tuxedo Clown

Personality in 3 words: Playful, Loving, Silly

Best suited for: A home looking for a fun-loving companion and willing to give him a few days to settle in.

Meet Jonesy! Don't let the formal tuxedo fool you—Jonesy is a total goofball! He is a master entertainer who knows exactly how to steal the show. Once he gets to know you, his absolute favorite move is climbing right onto your chest and pressing his face against yours for some serious cuddle time. Whether he is chasing a feather wand at top speed or curled up like a little crescent moon in your lap, he is guaranteed to bring endless joy to your home.

Read more about Jonesy

My Favorite Things:

Toy of Choice: The Cat Dancer! I will chase this as long and as fast as you can wave it around.
Nap Spot: Curled up on a soft blanket right on the couch.
Fun Quirk: I like to give the cutest little "trills" whenever I walk into a room to greet my humans!

Social Life: Jonesy has been a star in his foster home! He gets along wonderfully with other cats and is making great progress learning that strangers are just future friends who haven't handed over treats yet. He is already fully litter box trained and ready for his big adventure.

The Ideal Home: Jonesy would love a home where he gets plenty of playtime and affection. Because he still has that awesome 10-month-old kitten energy, he would thrive if adopted with a buddy or into a home that already has a playful feline friend to keep him company. He just needs a few days to adjust to his new environment, but he will reward your patience with a lifetime of love and silly antics.

We estimate he was born January 13, 2016. Kitty Bio #16566JBJo.

27. Shakibby

Adult · Male · Domestic Long Hair / Maine Coon (long coat) · 20 mi from Vallejo

Meet Shakibby — Your Mellow Little Bobtailed Sidekick ❤️
Shakibby is the kind of cat who brings a quiet, gentle presence into a home. He’s sweet, easygoing, and happiest simply being near his people.
And you can’t meet Shakibby without noticing one of his most adorable features — his darling little short bobtail! He often carries it curled right over his back, giving him a look that is completely his own. Pair that cute little curl with his gorgeous, plush medium-to-long coat, and he is one seriously handsome boy. His fur is incredibly soft — the kind you just want to keep running your hands through.
He’s not your typical lap cat or constant cuddler — Shakibby shows his affection in his own soft, special way.

Read more about Shakibby

He’ll nap nearby while you work, making him the perfect coworker for anyone working from home. During quiet evenings, he may settle beside you on the couch, gently lean against you, and reward you with the sweetest little purr.
Walk over to say hello while he’s lounging and you’ll almost always be greeted with that same loving purr. He has also been wonderfully gentle with the family’s 4-year-old and is comfortable when visitors come over — no disappearing under the bed when company arrives!
Don’t let his mellow personality fool you, though. Bring out the wand toy and Shakibby is ready to PLAY! He also enjoys putting on his leash and taking a little stroll around the backyard for some supervised outdoor time. The best part? He’s not demanding about either. If you’re busy, he’s perfectly content to relax nearby and keep you company.
Shakibby does not enjoy living with other cats, so he is looking for a home where he can be your one and only feline companion. In return, you’ll get a gentle, independent, sweet-natured boy with velvety-soft fur, that unforgettable little curled bobtail, and a peaceful presence that makes him so easy to love. ❤️
COURTESY POSTING: Shakibby is not currently in our rescue. If you are interested in adopting him, please fill out an adoption application and submit it to us. Once approved, we will forward your application to Shakibby’s owner, who will handle the next steps.
Sometimes the best companions aren’t the ones who demand your attention — they’re the ones quietly purring beside you, with an adorable little bobtail curled over their back. ❤️

Adult (3 years) · Female · Tabby / Domestic Short Hair (short coat) · 19 mi from Vallejo

Adopt Dreamsicle! Born in 2023, this beautiful orange girl was rescued after she was observed running in and out of neighbors’ yards for a few weeks. She carefully approached her rescuers one evening, expressing interest in pattings. She purred like thunder when patted and played with a cookie monster dog toy that she carried in her mouth to and from her rescuers’ house. She eventually followed them into their house with cookie monster (and Churu treats) as the pied piper and has been indoors ever since.

Grown cats are calmer and need less supervision than kittens, which suits people who work long hours or have young children.
