Meet Mocha & Latte — Bonded Sisters
Mocha (black, short hair) and Latte (gray tabby, medium hair) are bonded sisters who were rescued from a backyard. These cuties have been spayed and vaccinated through Nine Lives, and have been inseparable ever since!
Read more about Mocha & Latte
Both sisters are a little shy, but they each have their own personality. Mocha is the more outgoing and talkative of the two. She can’t resist a good play session and will happily jump and chase a wand or string toy. She’s also easily won over with Churu or Temptations treats! Latte is still learning to feel comfortable around people, but she loves to roughhouse and play with her sister.
When they’re not busy playing, these girls love to cuddle up, roll around together, and groom each other. Their overnight camera footage shows them running, chasing, and wrestling their way through the night. Their close bond is clear, and they’ll need a home where they can stay together and continue building confidence at their own pace.
They haven’t been introduced to other pets or children, although they seem able to tolerate the noise of toddlers when they have space to themselves. Both are reliable litter box users.
Due to human allergies in their current home, Mocha and Latte have been eating Purina ONE LiveClear Allergen-Reducing Formula, but they can transition to other appropriate kitten foods.

6. Gray Paw & White Paw
Adult (5 months 2 days) · Female · Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) · 47 mi from Salinas

Meet Gray Paw & White Paw: A Bonded Sister Duo Looking for Their Forever Home
Read more about Gray Paw & White Paw
These two five-month-old tabby sisters are a package deal, and once you meet them, you'll understand why. Gray Paw and White Paw were born to a feral mama cat and came into a neighbor's care as tiny kittens. For the past two months, they've been socialized with lots of patience and love, and they've blossomed into sweet, playful girls. Sadly, their current home has territorial resident cats, so it's time for these sisters to find a place of their own. Both girls are spayed, and White Paw is also vaccinated, microchipped, and litter box trained. They must be adopted together.
Gray Paw is a gray tabby with a thoughtful, observant nature. She's a little shy and aloof when she first meets you, and she likes to take her time sizing up new people and new toys. But once she warms up, her sweet side shines through. She'll happily roll onto her back for belly scratches, offer a soft purr, and let out adorable trills when she's excited. Wand toys are her absolute favorite, and she has a curious streak that makes every new toy an adventure. Gray Paw will thrive with a patient adopter who can gently help her continue to come out of her shell.
White Paw is a brown and gray tabby with a mellow, easygoing personality and a motor that never seems to stop. She's a true purring machine and loves to chat with trills and short meows, so expect plenty of conversation. She adores physical contact, from leg rubs to belly scratches, and she's just as enthusiastic about wand toys and anything new to explore. She's also a bit of a greedy eater who gets very excited when you walk in with food. White Paw shows her sweetest self once she trusts you, and she's already well on her way.
Together, this pair balances each other beautifully. White Paw's friendly, outgoing charm can help ease Gray Paw into new situations, while Gray Paw's playful curiosity keeps both sisters entertained. They'd do best in a patient, loving home where they can keep each other company and grow in confidence. If you're looking for two affectionate, playful companions who come with a built-in best friend, Gray Paw and White Paw are ready to meet you.

Read more about Pumpkin & Cheesy
Meet Pumpkin and Cheesy, two 1-year-old orange siblings who have been together since they were found as tiny kittens outside their foster human's home last April. Pumpkin is a big-hearted cuddle buddy with a very loud purr, a love of laps and couch blankets, and a habit of doing parkour off the walls when playtime strikes. Cheesy is a sweet, gentle soul who can be a little shy at first, but blossoms with patience and affection. Once things are quiet, she loves to come out and explore. Both are neutered/spayed with clipped ears from San Jose Animal Care, and will need updated vaccines. These two do best in a calm, quiet home without dogs or other cats, and Cheesy does well with gentle children. 10. Captain Shane Howlander & Hudson Growliams
Adult (10 months) · Male · Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) · 47 mi from Salinas

Shane & Hudson (both boys) are recent street cat rescues and have transitioned beautifully to indoor life in the past month & change. Both are adept at clay and pellet litter boxes, and are still learning about indoor noises but have adapted well with time (the dishwasher, laundry machines, and A/C no longer startle them at all). They’re fully up to date on their vaccines (Shane has one booster left on 9/28), are neutered, treated for fleas, have had a professional groom to get the street off of them, have clean bills of health from the vet with vet records available, and are microchipped. They may be very timid at first and take a little time to get comfortable with new people, but once they warm up, they’re total goofy loverboys who love to play and be pet and explore. Hudson quickly decided he likes being a lap cat and loves to cuddle nearby. Shane hasn’t discovered laps yet but he will knock you over for pets and flop on your feet for belly rubs (YES he means it!). They love to play with wand toys (Shane is OBSESSED with a suede tassel one) and chaser toys, and they enjoy watching out the window. While they haven’t really discovered cat beds yet, they have started to sleep on chairs/furniture, though they do love sleeping in the sink or on hard floors as well. Not sure how they will do with dogs or small children, but they have had experience with other cats and did just fine. Since they do still have some street cat skittishness and quirks, they may do a little better with an experienced cat owner but it’s not a hard requirement. Would love for them to go together if possible since they play & cuddle a lot together (suspect they’re half-brothers), but they can be split up too if need to be.

Both girls love playing together and are always happy to enjoy some tasty cat treats. Mira especially loves getting pets, while Chloe is a curious girl who enjoys observing the world around her. Read more about Chloe & Mira
These sisters have a special connection and would thrive in a home where they can continue growing, playing, and exploring side by side. They may be a little shy with new people at first, as they’ve primarily been around their foster, but with patience and a little time, they’re sure to blossom.

Why adopt a bonded pair
Bonded cats groom each other, play together and keep each other company while you're out, and they usually settle into a new home faster than a cat on its own.
Pairs often wait longer for homes than single cats, and many rescues charge less to adopt them together.
