Meet Layla — A Little Heart Full of Love
Hi, I’m Layla, a sweet little girl just waiting for someone to call my own.

I may be a little shy when we first meet, but underneath that reserved exterior is a heart full of love just waiting to blossom. Once I feel safe and know I can trust you, my sweet personality shines through, and you’ll discover that my favorite place in the whole world is right beside you... or even better, curled up in your lap.

Read more about Layla

I’m a cuddly girl who loves human affection and treasures those quiet moments spent close to my favorite person. Your gentle pets, warm hugs, and undivided attention mean the world to me. I don’t need a lot of excitement to be happy. A cozy spot, a little playtime, and someone to love are more than enough. I’m a laid-back little soul with so much love to give.

All I’m missing is my person. Someone who will give me the time to feel safe, the patience to come out of my shell, and the love I’ve been waiting for. In return, I promise to fill your days with soft purrs, cozy cuddles, and the sweetest little companionship.

Could you be the one I’ve been waiting for? I have a whole lot of love tucked inside this tiny heart, and I’m saving it for you.

Layla is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccines. Fill out our adoption questionnaire so you can meet her and learn more. She is great with other cats.

2. Celeste

Kitten (3 months 27 days) · Female · Tabby (short coat) · 15 mi from Milpitas

Born July 2026

Celeste will instantly hook you with her darling fuzzy cheeks & gentle purrs. She is from a litter of lucky polydactyl kittens who all have dazzling personalities.

Celeste and her siblings didn’t always appear so lucky. They were brought to us severely malnourished with terrible respiratory infections & other medical concerns. With weeks of careful monitoring & medications, they recovered beautifully. Of course, our efforts were only half the battle. These brave & determined sweethearts showed tremendous strength & courage throughout.

Read more about Celeste

Celeste is gentle yet very energetic. She enjoys jumping over your legs while you watch your shows and is very respectful of your work. She loves to receive affection & enjoys nap piles with her siblings. The best of times is when you bust out the feather wand though!

Due to her young age, she must be adopted with another kitten if there is not another kitten or very playful young adult in the home.

If you’re ready for an unforgettable fluffy ball to join your family, fill out our adoption questionnaire so you can meet her and learn more.

Meet Wasabi and Ebi,
Born in July 8, 2026, these orange kittens are playful, curious, and remarkably gentle. Raised together in a loving foster home, they’ve grown up as a true team and would love to stay that way.

Together they balance each other perfectly—Wasabi brings the spark and Ebi brings the softness. Whether they’re playing side by side or sharing a lap, their bond is clear.Ideal home: Because Ebi thrives in a peaceful setting where she can fully relax, this duo would do best in a calm, gentle household ready to give them the secure, patient home they deserve. Young (10 months) · Female · Tabby (short coat) · 15 mi from Milpitas

Meet Pipa – The Mama of Every Heart

If love had a face, it would be Pipa’s. Born 11/25/25

Pipa is, without a doubt, the most loving and gentle foster kitty we have ever had the pleasure of knowing. We have never even heard her hiss! She has the sweetest soul and a heart big enough for absolutely everyone. Every time a new foster kitty arrives, Pipa is right there to welcome them. She is everybody’s mama, and she takes that job very seriously!

Read more about Pipa

She’s the mama to our 110-pound foster dog, the mama to our 15-year-old boy, and the little guardian angel who comes running whenever someone is getting into trouble, as if to say, “Hey, hey! Leave them alone! They didn’t mean it!”

Pipa loves nothing more than cuddling up with her humans for a cozy movie night. She’ll be waiting to greet you when you come home, and wherever you go, you can be sure she’ll want to know what you’re doing. She likes to be part of everything! And don't let all that motherly love fool you — Pipa also loves to play and has a fun, playful side that makes her even more wonderful.

Pipa does have chronic sniffles, which means she’ll likely have some sniffles and sneezes for the rest of her life. It’s simply part of her, and it doesn't take away from the enormous amount of love she has to give.

Now, this special girl deserves something just as beautiful as the love she gives everyone else: a forever family of her very own. A family who will welcome her into their hearts, cherish her gentle nature, enjoy movie-night cuddles, and let her be the loving little mama she was born to be.

If you're looking for a kitty who will greet you at the door, follow you around, keep you company, make you laugh, and fill your home with unconditional love, Pipa might just be your girl.

She has spent so much time being everyone else's mama. Isn't it time someone became hers?

Adult (4 years 7 months) · Male · Exotic Shorthair (short coat) · 12 mi from Milpitas

Meet Teddy!

Teddy is a 4.5-year-old neutered male Exotic Shorthair looking for his forever home.

He may be a little shy at first, but he warms up quickly and becomes a sweet, affectionate companion. He’s a smart little guy who loves having people around and isn’t shy about meowing when he wants attention. He has his own way of communicating with us, and it’s pretty adorable!

Because of his tiny nose, softer food can be easier for him to eat, although he definitely shows interest in dry food, too.

Teddy would love a home where he gets lots of love, attention, and company.

One important note: we don’t recommend Teddy for a home with a history of cat allergies, as we want to avoid putting him or his future family through that uncertainty.

16. Orange Juice

Young · Male · Domestic Short Hair · 8 mi from Milpitas

Like any orange boy, OJ has a penchant for mischief. He's starved for affection, and for food. He'll never say no to wet food, and will immediately sniff out your snacks. Because he's only recently learned to live in a home, OJ has an occasional habit of sometimes urinating on soft surfaces like beds despite being litter box trained. Will need a prepared adopter ready to address this issue if needed. He needs some reassurance and patience, but once he's settled in and gets to know you, he enjoys taking up space on your lap or by your side. Orange Juice (OJ) and his mate Clementine belonged to a small group of sociable stray cats in my neighborhood.

Read more about Orange Juice

They'd sleep and play around the children's playground structure in front of my house. Because the HOA does not allow for residents to be seen feeding them, they were not allowed to stay as community cats and were at risk of having Animal Control being called to capture and likely euthanize them. OJ is likely a father, and has at least 2 other orange kittens that had already been adopted by a fellow neighbor. He'd occasionally go to visit them by peeking through the neighbors screen door. For anybody interested in adopting him - this would be a great friendship opportunity with the other cat owners so that this small group of cats could stay connected. He needs some reassurance and patience, but once he's settled in and gets to know you, he enjoys taking up space on your lap or by your side. Gets along great with other cats, and doesn't enjoy being alone. Young (4 months 11 days) · Male · Domestic Medium Hair / Mixed (medium coat) · 25 mi from Milpitas

Teddy’s name describes him perfectly. He’s a sweet, cuddly, loving kitten. He’s always been quick to open up to strangers. He’s confident and loves to explore and play. He loves cuddles, pets, and treats!

Most of the time Teddy’s love language is physical touch, and he’ll choose cuddles over a treat. The rest of the time, he’ll definitely go for the treat!

Read more about Teddy

Teddy has a sister named Tink, whom he loves to play with, and who is also just as loving and loyal. Most kittens from the cat colony Teddy was rescued from tend to be scared and run away, but Teddy has always been curious. The best way to describe his view of the world is rainbows and sunshine, trusting that humans will be good to him.

Teddy is a friendly and independent kitten. He would do well being adopted with his sister Tink or his best buddy Romeo, from another litter.

Teddy was born approximately June 1, 2026. He has been fixed, is litter box trained, has received flea treatment, has been dewormed, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Teddy would do well with gentle children; no dogs please.

22. Grey

Kitten · Female · Domestic Short Hair · 8 mi from Milpitas

Meet Grey, a truly extraordinary feline with extra toes and an extra big heart! Grey is a polydactyl kitty—yes, she boasts six adorable toes on her paws—and she uses every single one of them to steal the hearts of everyone she meets. If you are looking for a world-class snuggler, Grey is your girl. She is exceptionally affectionate and lives for human connection. Her favorite activities include cuddling up close, purring like a tiny motor, making enthusiastic biscuits with her multi-toed paws, and sleeping right by your side every single night. Grey isn't just a total cuddle bug; she’s also a bright, playful soul.

Read more about Grey

Exceptionally smart, she has an uncanny ability to understand human emotions and language, often tuning into your voice and routine like a sweet little shadow. When she isn't busy soaking up love or keeping you company, she’s happily engaging in playtime or making friends—she gets along wonderfully with other cats and thrives in a friendly, interactive environment. Grey’s journey began this past July in a North San Jose parking lot. She wandered into a managed colony of fixed cats, clearly looking for a little help. When rescuers trapped her for TNR, a vigilant caregiver noticed her paw was bleeding right before her release. Plans changed instantly—she went home with her foster mom to heal and see if indoor life suited her. It turns out, home life suits her brilliantly! Behind those initial street-cat nerves, this sweet four-month-old revealed a remarkably affectionate, purr-heavy heart and a playful side that keeps her foster family entertained. With her charming personality, Grey could potentially fit in any home. Grey is a special polydactyl kitten who was born with extra toes on all four paws! One extra toe on her hind paw grew downward, which kept her foot from resting flat and meant she had to walk on her tiptoes or the side of her paw. Thanks to the incredible team at Peninsula Catworks, Grey had surgery to safely remove the problematic toe. She sailed through her recovery, and today she’s running, jumping, and playing just like any other happy kitten! Grey is currently living in San Jose, CA 95131 Please note:Grey is polydactyl. 28. Ruby

Young (6 months) · Female · Tabby (short coat) · 15 mi from Milpitas

Born March 28, 2029

Spayed, Microchipped & Up to date on vaccines

Negative for FIV/FeLV/Heartworm

Great with kids, cats and dogs!

Ruby is pure joy in kitten form. She is all-in on play, chasing laser dots, batting wand toys, attacking automatic toys across the room, and staging wrestling matches whenever a playmate is around. Zoomies are part of the daily routine, and she wants you right in the middle of it. Follow her from room to room and she will follow you right back.

Flash a bag of freeze-dried minnows and you have her full attention. She is also not above claiming an unseasoned bite of steak if you look away for a second.

Read more about Ruby

Under the sparkle, she is remarkably chill about real life. Sounds and music do not faze her. When the vacuum comes out, she hops onto the cat tree and treats it like entertainment. She loves being brushed and handles a busy household with easy confidence. She is curious about other cats, polite when she says hello, and good at doing her own thing. She has shared a foster home with cats and dogs and fits right in.

Ruby is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and has been healthy and thriving since the beginning. She is ready for a home that likes high-energy play and a cat who wants to be part of it.

29. Ron

Young (6 months) · Male · Tabby (short coat) · 15 mi from Milpitas

Born: 03/28/26

Neutered

Microchipped

Up to date on vaccines

Neg for FIV/FeLv/Heartworm

Ron walked into the world already sure of himself. He was the confident little alpha of the litter, and once he decided humans were worth befriending, everyone else followed his lead. That same easy confidence is still his trademark.

His days are built around play.

Read more about Ron

Laser dots, wand toys, and automatic toys all get the full treatment, and zoomies are a daily event, sometimes hourly. He will follow you from room to room just for the chance to join in, and a bag of freeze-dried minnows turns him into a devoted shadow. Leave an unseasoned piece of steak unattended and he will help himself.

All that energy comes with surprisingly good household manners. He is used to music and everyday noise, and when the vacuum comes out he hops onto the cat tree and watches the show. He loves being brushed and handles a busy home with total ease. In foster care he has lived with other cats and dogs, says a polite hello, then reads the room and does his own thing.

Ron is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and has been healthy and thriving from the start. He would love a home that can keep up with his play style and enjoy the show.

Kitten (5 months 15 days) · Female · Tuxedo (short coat) · 15 mi from Milpitas

Name: Domino

Date of Birth 4/15/2026

Sex: F

FIV/FELV neg / neg

Domino is as sweet as they come. This gentle, cuddly girl is looking for

nothing more than to be your devoted companion. It's hard to believe

she was once a feral kitten, given how affectionate she is now.

She's a lovely tuxedo with medium-length fur, a pink nose, a long

fluffy tail, and delightfully wispy ear hairs. Dom is polite, but

she's not shy about letting you know she loves you - sometimes her

purr motor kicks in from nothing more than a friendly glance her way.

She may be a little slower to warm up than her brother Blackjack, but

once she does, she's the one who'll snuggle in closest and stay there.

Good things come to those who wait.

Domino and her brother would be a wonderful packaged deal. They play

together, look out for each other, and even sleep nose to nose. Adopt

them as a pair and you'll have double the love (and double the

purring) in your home.

Adopting a cat with children in Milpitas

Bring the whole family to meet the cat before you adopt, and ask the rescue how the cat behaves around children your kids' ages.

Teach children to let the cat come to them, to stroke gently, and to leave the cat alone while it's eating, sleeping or using the litter box. Give the cat a high or quiet spot to retreat to.

Relaxed adult cats are often a better match for young children than kittens, which scratch and nip while they play.
